First, my house is built on concrete slab, and I'm pretty sure the moisture barrier between it and the ground has failed. Soooo... yesterday was rainy and incredibly humid. I left some windows open (under the porch, so the rain wouldn't get in). But because of the high humidity, moisture had condensed on my floors, which are all tile. I had to shut the windows, turn the air conditioner on to get the humidity out of the house, and then get down on my hands and knees with towels and mop up all the water. Fun, fun. And I had to set the AC at oh, about 65 degrees, because it was only 70 outside and I needed the AC to keep running! Brrrrr.
