YOU ARE THE BEST

I hate to waste your time with this - I know you are busy. But I just have to thank you from the bottom of my heart! I just competed in my first triathlon....something I've wanted to do for a couple years and I credit you with my endurance to get it done!! I didn't do it in lightning speed or anything but I know I gave it my 100% and I give all my credit to your awesome workouts. I don't know how many times I told myself that day if I can make it thru your workouts I can get thru a triathlon....I even posted my personal best run that day - and as you know, that's the last portion of the race. I am so pumped to get the new videos I can hardly stand it. I just love that you are so passionate about your work that it makes working out FUN. You are phenomenal!!! I could go on and on, but I won't.

I wanted to ask you which triathlon you just participated in? I just participated in my first triathlon this past weekend as well (in Massachusetts) and kicked butt! I am so proud of myself and credit my great performance to Cathe!

I did mine at Hoot Lake in Fergus Falls, MN. I gave it my 100%. I came in 156 out of 211 and 8th out of 16 in my age group. I am not a swimmer and have never swum 1/4 mile (didn't even train for it) so it took me almost 16 minutes to do it....but I did it!!! My husband was my biggest fan and told me all day long how impressed he was with me. I completed it (1/4 mile swim, 15.7 mile bike, and 5K run) in 1 hour 49 minutes. I can't wait to do it again next year -- after I learn how to swim. What was your time?

Wow, that's fantastic! I did my 1/2 mile swim in 13 minutes and 22 seconds, the 5k run in 25:37 and the 12.5k bike in 42:16. I was so proud of myself. Wow, we both did amazing!!! Congratulations on a wonderful accomplishment!

ETA: There were 2200 women in this race and I came in 389th! I hate to toot my own horn like this, but hey--you and I deserve to brag a little, right!?!! :)

Well, MN is good. It's been a little crazy and surreal lately what with the bridge collapse, but it's brought out the best in people and it's inspirational to see strangers helping strangers. I pray the missing are located safe and sound.

I was over at Tracey's site and saw the rehearsal pics. You look fab. Every time I do HISM or Step Sweatfest I use you as my motivator. I say to myself, "If Allie can add power to every move, you can too!" (Though sometimes, I don't jump near as high as you seem to.)

Hope everything is well with you and that triathlon time IS fantastic. You should feel proud.

And Cathe, I agree, you ARE the best!!!

Waste my time????? NO WAY!!!!! I love hearing about your fitness accomplishments. Keep them coming!

High Five to you fitnessfanaticfromMN. I think its awesome that you pursued your passion to compete in a triathlon. Isn't it so rewarding when you complete something you have worked/trained so hard for? It's beyond euphoric. I bet you're already looking into doing the next one :) I have never participated in a triathlon but from what I hear they are very addicting. Thank you so much for sharing your big accomplishment with me. Looking forward to hearing about then next one :) Wahoo!

Wow Allison, toot away, that IS AMAZING!!! I bet you were on such a high crossing that finish line. I can't wait to give you a personal high five for that great accomplishment on the road trip next week :7 6 more days!!!! :7 :7 :7
