Hi everyone, (especially uk cath'ites)


I have finally made contact with the uk suppliers of ryka over the phone. The lady is sending me out a Ryka catalogue and also an Avia catalogue, as she says that the new Avias are as good as Ryka, because of the new scientific research being put into making the new Avia trainers.
I know that they supply ryka supra's, stylus,etc, also Re evolution whatever that is.

Has anyone else from the UK ordered from them yet? and how was the performance of your new trainers?.

Also if anyone knows what is the best all round trainers for weights as well as aerobics for stability, balance and impact please let me know, because the suppliers can give recommendations, but I am interested in the views of the people who wear them, any response would be most welcome.

Hi Hotchick,

They sent me out a catalogue too, but the prices were REALLY expensive. I know these shoes have to travel across the Atlantic, but £70's !!!!!!!! They retail in America for around £20 - £25 ! Avia weren't much cheaper. And they aren't up to date with Ryka's web site, of course they might have an updated catalogue now.

I ordered a pair of size 8 seconds Rykas from,

They were £20's !!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-wow

But they didn't fit (I have huge feet :'()

So, I sent them back and got a refund. I would of been better off with an 8 1/2, I think, but they didn't have any.
If you look on e-directory, look under sports/sport footwear or shoes/and then go into Other Brands.

RE: Check out FOOTLOCKER....

They too stock Ryka in some of their UK shops. Go to Footlockers
website or Lady Footlocker, click on Stockists, and UK, it lists all the shops here. Maybe give your nearest store a ring ?? My nearest is Meadowhall, Sheffield.

Hotchick! Most Ryka's run small so be sure to talk to someone & ask about the sizing before ordering. Most of them run 1/2-1 size smaller then your normal shoe size. (I normaly wear a 7, but in Ryka's I wear either a 7 1/2 or an 8) Just a heads-up!
