xtrain vs sts for results

I'd like a comparison of these two programs by results. Which one gave you the best fat loss? Which one increased your muscle the most? Which one caused you to lose the most scale weight? TIA!
 
For me - Xtrain for fat loss, STS for muscle. (I'm reasonably lean, quite a bit of muscle, but pear shaped :( - if that makes a difference.)

Looking forward to hearing others' point of view.
 
Justinef, any idea why Xtrain appears to be better for fat loss? The amount of cardio is the same if you follow the guidelines.
 
I've wondered this many a time! The only differences are that one of the XTrain legs workouts is also cardio (Cardio Leg Blast) and there is a metabolic weight training dvd in Xtrain (Supercuts). Of course STS has Plyo legs, but only in Meso#3.
One reason I think I achieved more muscle growth in STS was that I progressed my 1RM much more. I think, because the training is at a slower pace, I felt more comfortable with constantly increasing my weights.

Hopefully others will chime in with their experiences.
 
I agree with Justine. Fat loss with XTrain, muscle growth with STS. STS is a more structured weights program, while XTrain more of an undulating program. For me many of the XTrain workouts had a cardio factor. Just my humble opinion.;)
