Xers......Typical Tuesday......

Hi all,

I'm so sad, today is the last day that I can start us off for probably 2 weeks. We are going on vacation today and I won't be back until the 17 or 18th.

I'll be back,

Tracy

Hi again,

After PUB yesterday, I ended up running instead of S&H because DS was running and wanted someone to go with him. It was 93% humidity yesteday afternoon and in the mid 90s. Needless to say I was soaked and so was he. It is kind of funny because he's not in is good cardio condition as I am, so I have to keep slowing my pace. He doesn't find that funny, but it helps to keep him on a faster pace than he would probably do. Then I did Magically Hips, and I had to skip the last few up/down dogs because my upper body was so fatigued.

I'm doing legs this morning and 20 minutes of yoga, then I am officially on my recovery. It may not be as much of a lower body recovery as I'd planned because DS wants to run while we are away. I have worked out as hard as I could the last few weeks, and I need a break. I was able to do double armed rows with 32s yesterday, so I've definitely build up my strength considerably. I'm going to do the April 06 rotation when I return. It focuses on the butt and legs, but each week repeats the same upper body workout twice. They are more endurance based, but I think that I need a break from heavy lifting. If I don't like that, I can just instert a split and still do the lower part.

Traci - If you are out there, we miss you. I hope that you are enjoying the yoga and meditation, and the break from technology. I do think that it can become a very solitary addiction. My kids never had video games or playstation etc. I always felt like their time was better spent outside, using their imaginations.

Wendy - Discussion, might not mean what I thought, sometimes I'm a little slow. Funny how we all read different meaning into text. I've done a variety of things to work the upper body. I do work every body part the same amount of times every week. For quite a while, when I could do little else, I was working upper 3x per week, using MM, ME, etc. and sometimes repeating the dvd twice or combining BM1 and BM2 upper, but not using very heavy weights. I've just finished 4 weeks of GS once a week going as heavy as possible with 8-10 reps, and then doing one easier total upper body workout towards the end of the week. I had great results with that. I did switch the body parts that I worked together and the last workout, I did more of a circuit. I think that Cathe really knows what she is doing when she puts the routines together, so I just use those to make sure that the muscles are balanced, especially with the tricep, because there are 3 heads, and you want them all similar in size. GS has a great tricep workout.

Nicole - PUB and PLB, should have been fun. I love PUB and think that so much is accomplished in 40 minutes. I may do PLB, standing only this morning, but I'm not sure if I feel like changing the weight of the BB, so freqeuntly. That is a pain.

Sandra - I do have Yoga Trance Dance. I previewed it not too long ago, but to be honest, some of it I'd have to do when no one is home. I'd catch so much grief if they saw me dancing around in 'free form.' I think some of the segments might be quite hard. She moves very quickly. Plus, I'm addicted to Fluid Power. If it wasn't so hard on my arthritic wrist, I'd do it every day. I need to become more boyuant in the pelvis. I'm sure I put too much weight on my hands. I'm assuming that comes with strength and condition.

Jeanette - Enjoy that premix. I've never done it, but I love Step Blast. I did that one when it first came out, until it wasn't very effective for me anymore. DH is still deciding whether he is going or not. He is so worried about FIL. I'm glad your camping trip was fun.

Annointed - I hope you were scarce yesterday because they took that tooth out. Feel better soon.

Debra - I don't enjoy the grocery store either. I feel like I spend so much money there. I got DS to go with me. He is so disappointed in food since he's started reading labels. he wanted low fat tortilla chips. I said, "dream on." We did find some, but they looked so unappealing that he didn't get them.

Hi to Laurie and Swifty.

I will take my laptop, but will only have limited access to wireless because we are camping. Have fun in the next couple of weeks, I'll talk with you when I return. Off to drive 1800 miles to CO.

Tracy

TracyX - HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!!! I'm going to miss you. Don't pressure yourself to check in with us. Just have a good time and enjoy yourself. I read your post this morning; so much to say, yet I can't stay long right now. We'll just pick up where you left off when you return.

WendyX - Forgot to say the other day: yes we almost have the same b-day. Mine's the 17th. There is a cluster of us having b-days around that time.

Please speak up, if you have a b-day in August!

I'm heading down to do GS Triceps, then adding some cardio and yoga. I might do the KM Low-impact premix (combos, leg conditioning drills), then 2 short Shakti segments.

Have a great day,
SandraX

Good morning Xer buddies! Hope all is well in your little workout worlds. I am doing L&G extreme today....UGGHH! Hate working legs, but it must be done! I really had a great time with my Kimberly Spreen yesterday...and it was just what I needed...I love doing kickboxing to get out a little aggression!

Tracy...My dear, have a wonderful time on vacation. I am assuming that DH is not going with you...but I could have missed something. Have a great time with your boys! I bow to you for running yesterday...I would have probably passed out. What a heat wave we are having!

Sandra...Have fun with those triceps today. I know a lot of people with August birthdays, but alas I am a January baby. I usually am dealing with snow and ice on my birthday. Your rotation sounds good...I am going to do something like that in another week or so. And, yes, those darling babies grow up fast. My DD still likes to sit on my lap and cuddle...although I will say, she's starting to get a little heavy! Did your brother get married??

Wendy...I did not bowl yesterday...although I took it as a PE course in college...but it has been ages since I have been bowling. I always liked it...we used to go to a bowling alley when I was in high school and they turned out the lights at night and had this disco ball going...and all the pins were lit up by black lights...it was really fun! I was wondering if you still have the same email address...I have my reply waiting to send about the email you sent, oh, a couple of weeks ago! How are things settling down after FIL's passing? How is your sweet Phil? What workout did you finally do yesterday?

Nicole..Glad you were separated from the snobs...that is never fun to hang around. So, we'll get to see a little more of you since DH is heading back to work?? Good! He was seriously cutting into your computer time...LOL!!

Jeanette...Hope you got your newsletter done last night....I am sure you are having fun with your SJP premix this morning! Is there hi/lo and step in the premix? I always feel so goofy doing hi/lo....like I'm just hopping around like an energizer bunny!

Hi to the rest of the group...

Traci...Miss you!

Laurie....Take those darn sofas off your back and you'll feel a lot cooler!

Teddygirl...Hope that pesky tooth is better today!

Amy...Where are you?

Cheryl...Hope your trip is going well.

Swifty...Are you packed and ready for the road trip??

Is that everyone...who did I forget? My mind is very weary with the heat, so if I left you off I sincerely apologize!

I'm off to take the cat and the dog to the vet...I need to get them established here. It is always fun to take them together...NOT! I'll bbl this afternoon to check on you guys!

Morning Ladies,

Rotation: Cathe's July '07
Workout: Week 3/Day 2/Cardio & Weights Premix #1

We had rain all night last night. This is a good thing, since we have not had enough rain this summer. But now my DH will have to start mowing the lawn more often. :D

Ok now you ladies don't laugh, I have found some pics of me in my Ren Faire outfit that some patrons have posted. Wendy this is what I mean when I say I wear upholstery on weekends.

This first one is of the queen, but I am holding her cup in the background. The one in blue.

This one I am not smiling, but it shows more detail on the dress.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/meryddian/948275522/in/set-72157601093654843/

Yesterday's Imax2 premix was a great time. Instead of doing the genie hopps (these seem to hurt my feet), I did the hot foot from PlyoX.

Sandra, I agree with you that this rotation doesn't have a lot of upper body. I think that I had mentioned that once, but I am enjoying the fact that the workouts are short. Since faire has started I don't seem to have enough time. :)

Tracy, Have a great time on your trip. We will all be here when you get back.

Annointed, How are you doing this morning?

Jeanette, You sound like you had a great time on your camping trip. Must be exciting to be getting to the finished tiling project.

Swifty, All you road trippers are now in the countdown stage. I have been quite happy with the way my core and shoulders improved in strength after the X.

Debra, I love the fact that you DD could roll a 7lb ball down the lane. :) You are teaching her well.

Nicole, So today you are back to your normal routine. My DH works 2nd shift, and when he decides to come home early this can cause havoc in our household. The girls and I have a certain routine and he can be disruptive to that. :D

I am one of those August babies. My b'day is the 13th, and DH and I will be celebrating our 19th Anniversary on the 27th.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hi!
Today was SJP/Step Blast for 60 minutes, a combo of step and hi-lo. Was a fun workout. Tonite will be helping DH with some sheetrock finishing around the hearth and finishing that darned newsletter. I'm almost done though, so I feel much better. Will get it finished tonite for sure!

Laurie, so sorry to hear that your weekend weather wasn't so great. Bet the costumes are uncomfortable in the heat. So cool about your DD's puppet show. Bet you were proud!

Swifty, way to go on getting the cardio and yoga in. I definitely need to start putting in some time for flexibility. Feel like I'm stiffening up in my old age.

Sandra, usually I don't feel weaker or so breathless around TTOM, but this time, I surely did. I know that menopause is looming so must be some changes going on. Thanks for all the info on pregnancy and such. Way to go on GS Chest and the shorter break in the pushup sequence.

Debra, weren't you proud when your friend noticed your DD's upper body strength? I don't tell some people about my workouts, they just don't get it. Heck, sometimes I don't get it either. Sorry about the heat, makes me move so slowly, I feel like a lizard. I want to move quicker, but the body just wants to conserve the energy. Thankfully, it hasn't been a very hot summer so far. It is so dry out west here, not even funny. Today will be in the 80's and it was 50 degrees outside this morning at 5:00 a.m. Summer's may get a little over 100 degrees, but not for long, mostly in the 90's, but low humidity. Thanks for the BFF explanation, I never would have gotten the "forever" part. I barely cleaned my house last night, but will pencil your's in when mine is complete. I really need to clean out cupboards, what a mess some of them are. I will get pictures of the new hearth, but want it to be completely done, with the stove installed and the sheetrock finish work done and paint touched up. What happens in Stage 3 of the rock tumbling process? I'm curious how they get so shiny?

Sandra, did your brother get married? Was he keeping it secret? Sounds like you had a great upper body workout. Are you sore this morning?

Wendy, so sorry about the washed out grout. My grout is definitely lighter than I would have liked it, but it still looks fine. I can't imagine going back and grinding it all out. Have I told you before that Phil is an absolute saint? No way would my DH re-do it. I'd have to do it myself and I'm too lazy. PUB/PLB is good. I like the floor work in PLB, hardly ever do the weight work and PUB is a must do, short and effect up only pyramid premix works great! My bike ride was around 27 miles total I think.

Nicole, glad the wedding wasn't so bad and you weren't forced into having to sit and talk with those snooty tooty people. Glad your DH will be back to work so we can get more posts from you. Did you get the full 90 minutes of SJP/Step Blast in today? 60 minutes is my limit on work days.

Tracy, I hope you have a fabulous vacation, with our without your DH. The situation with FIL is tough on everyone for sure. Thanks for starting the thread this morning. I imagine Aspen as being a very beautiful area. Wow, running in that heat and humidity. True dedication! How is the eliptical? Do you like it? We will miss seeing your posts, but will be thinking of you. Again, have a great time. Nice that the boys can do the driving too.

Amy, have you left us?

Cheryl, are you back from Boise yet?

Anointed, hoping you got some care for that tooth. Is it history now?

Traci, hope you are finding peace.

Must go, hi to anyone else. Hope to get back on tonite AFTER finishing the newsletter. I'm so close HOORAY!

Jeanette

Tue - PlyoX and Stretch Max 3 with the band

Good morning on THIS typical Tuesday. Loads of work here at the office, short post and did not have the time to go over yesterday's posts.x(

I have DOMs in the core/back/oblique area. I blame it on the LIC standing on step and doing those side leg lift thingies.

Laurie, your dress is fabulous! Wow!:7

Tracy - :) :) :) your vacation girl!

Traci- oooohhhhmmmmmm. Sending you vibrations of relaxation your way.

Way too humid and miserable outside to bike ride. Drat!

DD has a new pet ratty. It's a miniature rat and we are training it to wake in day and sleep at night. Also to come to his name "Derek" after the Prince of the Princess and the Pauper.:) Happy birthday to her.

Sorry but have to run. Hugs ((((()))))) to everyone!:7

Just want to ^5 Laurie for the GREAT pics! What a lovely dress:) So glad we can see what you look like now and put a face with a name:D

BBL for personals,

Nicole

Evening

Thanks for all the warm “feel better” :) :) My appointment was today at 9am I just got back around 30 minutes ago. I feel so much better, about to take meds and laid down. He put me back on penicillin and Percocet. I finally can eat, and I lost 3 lbs surely muscles and that's not good. I'm about to eat some tomato soup looks like that’s it for me today. Oh I got 4 stitches in my gums, ;( ;( Ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TracyX: You have a wonderful vacation don’t worry someone will start us off, maybe me b/c its definitely on tomorrow I rested enough. Okay about to take meds and bubble bath, I will talk to guys tomorrow.

Good Afternoon Ladies!!!

I lied. I wasn't able to come back later to finish personals. Phil and I took a nap. We slept people! I woke up. He didn't. He slept for 12 hours straight. Boy, did he needed the shut eye. He's been working non-stop.

QUESTION for EVERYONE:
Do you own all of Cathe's workouts? If not, why? How many of them do you own? Inquiring minds would like to know.

I feel like Tony the Tiger. I feel GREAT today!! :) Last night I did L&G instead of B&G after reading Debra's post yesterday. The last time I did L&G was pre-X. I couldn't believe how much easier it was. I can't say if it was the X that made it easier. I think Cathe gets credit for it too with her B&G and endurance type workouts. It was the first time that I didn't care if my legs measurements didn't go down or what the scale has to say. The strength and endurance gains made all that seem unimportant. I can barely see any cellulite back there! Keep in mind, my cellulite is hormonally influenced. So, it won't be long before it returns with a vengence. But, today is a shorts wearing day!:) :) :) I plan on doing a circuit today. Maybe LIC. Tomorrow is CS. And Thursday is yoga.

Tracy-X: Don't feel down about not starting the check-in till you return. Look forward to Aspen. How awesome is that going to be for you and your boys!!! Keep a journal and tell us all about it when you get back! Remember Sandra (17th) and me (16th) on our birthdays. Send us clean eating vibes! I know I'm gonna need it! }( You'll come back refreshed and ready to have a long feel good "discussion" with dh instead of yoga!}( }( }( Okay, maybe that's stretching it. I think it's funny that you had to keep slowing down. I think men like to feel that they are the stronger sex. Phil didn't find it funny when I was able to do wall squats longer than him. Oh! Well! I did!:p Watch out! If your ds keeps it up, he might be running circles around you. I think that would be a wonderful thing if he did! It would be a great motivator for both of you!:) I'll be interested to hear how the April 06 rotation works for you. Thank you AGAIN for sharing all your experience with working out. I was starting to go back and forth on getting GS. Should I have enough extra spending money, I'll have to get it on the RT! A birthday present to me! Love it! Have a safe trip! Most importantly, have a blast!!!:D

Sandra-X: Awesome workout scheduled for today! Did Tracy's GS Triceps description have any effect on today's selection? I don't blame your brother for possibly getting hitched in Las Vegas. Phil and I did! We spent our honeymoon there. He was in heaven! He loves to gamble. We had a lot of fun! It'd be nice to go back there again.

Good Morning Debra-X: Yes, I still have the same email addy. I've had it for the last 12+ years. I can't seem to let go of AOL just yet. I saw the L&G premixes. Decided to do it as produced yesterday as I was still a bit groggy from my nap and the sudafed/tylenol hadn't kicked in yet. I did skip the side leg lifts per hollowed out side glute discussion. I may add those back in once I get over myself. :7 LOL on having your dd work her upper body while you workout. My girls are always working out with me. I have to turn my head in jealously when eldest dd hops up to the chin up bar and proceeds to pump out 5 unassisted pull-ups without losing her breath. Must be nice! She's always trying to show me how easy these things are; like non-stop tuck jumps. Wicked girl!;) Phil is doing fine. He's not much a talker. I've learned that when the twins were in the NICU for 4 months. It used to drive me crazy. I would start a fight with him to see him show emotion. I've since learned that it takes patience and tenderness to draw him out. I don't push it. I think we both feel that it is what it is. It also helps that he doesn't have any regrets. At least, I don't think he does. We're more concerned with his mom. She married FIL when she was 16 years old. She's having a difficult time being a widow. She's in the process of evaluating her life and living alone. I keep suggesting that she gets a dog for companionship. Phil is going to take the girls to visit her while I'm at the RT.

Jeanette-X: You are way too good! I don't know how you do it! Work, home remodeling, camping, panning for gold, riding, working out, etc... and then to top it all off by volunteering to put together a newsletter!!! It must be a giving quality that I lack. Even though I volunteered for many years with the twins club, I got to the point where I felt I'd done my duty. No More! My father used to put together a newletter for the Vets. He would moan and groan about it. But, he enjoyed being involved. Are you nervous about going through the change? I am. The abliity to not have any more children would sadden me. I keep hoping I'll have more. But, I doubt Phil's reversal worked. Unlike going back to finish the grout, he's not going in for another reversal! LOL Gosh, now see, I didn't have PUB and PLB on my wish list. Now, I'm feeling like I should. Nice short bike ride! LOL I consider 27 miles a marathon for my legs!:7 ;-)

Amy-X: Oh! Now you've got me scared to do LIC. I've only done the cardio only premix. Okay, I can do it! I'm up for a challenge today. Happy Birthday to your DD! Another August Baby! Although, I hope no one decides to give me a pet rat. I'm surprised she didn't want to name it Stuart. Derek is a good name!

LaurieXX: You look almost exactly as I had envisioned you! Thank you for sharing a picture FINALLY! LOL Your complexion is so fair and pretty! You make a perfect Ren Lady! Yes, I see what you mean about wearing upholstery! I can't believe you don't pass out from heat stroke! Phil did last week at work. He was installing pipe in an attic before it happened. He threw up and passed out. I was so angry at him for pushing himself! I told him to slow down, drink plenty of water and lay off the sodas and coffee. I don't know if he listened to the last bit of advice. But, he did slow down the rest of the week. Thank goodness that job is finished! I do have a question for the XXer in my life. I can't remember your results after round 2. Did you notice an increase in strength? How did it differ from round 1. Just wondering if I should plan on another round when Phil is finished with the kitchen.

NicoleX: I'm so happy that the wedding went better. I'll share pictures of the kitchen once I figure out this new computer. Right now, I have to figure out how to set my resolution to my monitor's native language. Everything looks squished. Don't worry. I don't plan on procrastinating. I'll have RT pictures that I'll want to post. Enjoy your workout today! Remember to breathe!!!;-)

Annointed: You're probably posting or have posted since I started my novel. Hope you are having a pain-free day!

Cheryl: Are you getting ready? How's the clean eating going? Remind me not to step near you. I know you're ready cardio and strength wise!:7 I still have to pack. I don't even know what I'll want to wear. So, I'll probably take more clothes than I'll need.

Well, ladies, I'm off to read and catch up. I've got house cleaning and laundry on my to-do list as well. My friend is visiting tomorrow. So, I have no choice but to do it.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy

Hey, gang! No I have left you guys, yesterday was just one of "those" days and since 'Big Brother' is monitoring work internet, I don't like to post too much when I'm at work.

Anyway, I am getting super, super excited about the RT. I have a huge TO-DO list to get through before I leave on Thursday.

Yesterday, DH had an appt with an endocrinologist.....diabetic specialist, just to make sure that we are on the right track with him. Our regular doctor wanted to do that...we LOVE our regular doc!!! Anyway, his appt was at 0930 (after I got off of work), but we didn't get into to see him until close to 1100!!! Then it was a couple of stops before heading home. We got home around 1p and I was in bed by 1:05!!! I woke up about 8p to eat something then right back to bed until 1130 this morning!!! Now, I'm like Wendy....feeling like Tony the Tiger!

Sandra- Another August baby here....mine's the 22nd!! It will also be my 8th wedding anniversary, too.

Laurie- Oh my gosh, those are awesome pictures...and awesome costumes!!! I used to work at a theater costume shop when I was in college and had a great time sewing stuff like this! Your's are GORGEOUS!! I bet Cathe comes in very handy when it comes to their weight!!

Tracy- I hope that you have a great trip! I can't believe that DS is going to Scotland, I'm SOOOOO jealous!!!

Cheryl- I am counting the days before meeting you!!! I can't wait, although I have decided to take Beloved Heather's attitude. I may not be the most fit person there, nor the lightest in terms of weight (that goes to Wendy, I think;-) ), but I'm determined that I'm going to keep up with the group and have a GREAT time!!!

Off to check some stuff off the TO-DO list.....tomorrow is going to be a pedicure for sure!!! The toes are looking a little raggety and I want to put my best foot forward for the RT!!! ;-) :p :7

Oh, TG- I hope that you start feeling better! I can't imagine that type of pain. I had my wisdom teeth out a year ago, but didn't have all that much pain with it.

I'm back!

I finished my extra long cardio session and was wooped! I sweat buckets and was so glad when it was over! This is the last LONG workout for the rotation. The rest are all a little over or under an hour.

TracyX, Have a great vacation! Take lots of pictures and show us when you get home. Congrats to your son! Scotland, how fun!

SandraX, You are feeling great today arent' you? Like the workout, so varied.

DebraX, L&G Xtreme, ayayayy! I won't miss that one that's for sure:) Hope you had fun and cursed at Cathe like I did:DLOL!! DH is out being productive and I'm typing away between loads of laundry. Glad you had such a great time with your BFF. I need to get a new on esince mine is being a brat right now! Have a blast at the vet:p

JeanetteX, Sounds like you had a wonderful time camping! What a nice chance to have special time with your DH. Won't you be releived to have the newsletter and the hearth done? You'll feel so accomplished:) We have been having a lovely week weather wise here. It's been in the 80's here too and almost cold at night. The youth pastor's wife at the wedding is really into cycling with her DH and she said I just have to try it:D I know my DH would love it but it makes me nervous. I feel like I would hit a wall fast. Hey after 1-1/2 hrs. of straight cardio I should be able to, right?

Swift AmyX, Happy birthday to DD!!! A rat? Wow, she's a brave girl. I think of pink and girlie when it comes to Birthday presents for girls. I would have been wrong on that one:p I love those side thingies on LIC they feel great in the oblique area!

LaurieXX, Love the pics. Not at all what I had in my head so I'm glad you posted these! I had you with sandy blonde hair that was kind of wavy:) The faire looks like such fun! It must be nice to have a hobby and interest outside of the home. Yes, DH is back at work and we are getting closer to our normal routine. Once the boys are in school our schedule will iron out, thank goodness:)

Anointed, I sure hope that darn tooth feels better soon. Maybe I could get a toothache and lose a few lbs.:D NOT! I hate toothaches! Feel better and eat some nice soft Key Lime pie for me:p

Wendy, We all got the L&G bug this week! I promise not to get the premix one again}( I own every Cathe DVD but the CTX series. I have been on the fence about it because so many have said things about the length of the workouts. I should have them on hand but I seem to be able to sub for them ok with all of her other DVD's. Thanks for remembering me in your posts. I have been MIA all week with DH home. As you can tell, he's back at work:) My epic posts are back! I am running behind on house cleaning too with all of the wedding goings ons this weekend. I must get the dishes done before DH gets home. The bad thing is that he brings his work truck home everyday after work and pops in for lunch too so I have to be on my toes just in case:)

AmyX, Have a blast at RT with all of the others. So many Xer's to represent us this week:) Take lots of pics and post them right when you get home:D:p

Off to clean. A woman's work is never done!

Nicole

Went to Dicks to purchase spring clips. Got a cute pair of Nike capris on clearance too! ;-) When I got home, Phil informed me that I can't use spring clips on our barbell because it's a screw on type. Bummer. I doubt I'll spend the money on a new barbell set up right now. UGH! I do have an old barbell up in the attic that might work. I'll have to check it out later tonight.

Nicole-X: Do you put these expectations on yourself or does your dh place them on you? Maybe it's just me, but he sounds a bit demanding!LOL Not that keeping the house clean and being a good steward of one's time isn't a terrible expectation. I guess I'm kinda of sensitive to stuff like this since my ex was a control freak and nagged me constantly over everything! It literally drove me mad! Once I had a breast infection from nursing my youngest son and passed out on the couch. I literally passed out. It was scary. Thank goodness, my eldest was able to help me lay down on the couch. Anyhow, ex came home to a mess and started lecturing me about it. After I went to the doctors for antibiotics, ex admitted that he thought I was faking being sick. How sick was he!!! I was always on my toes trying to live up to his vision of how I should be just to not hear his *itching! He never got violent, just the constant nagging and lectures and manipulation. That man never had it so good being married to me! I'm serious! Our babysitters, my family, and friends jumped for joy when they found out I was leaving him! If I did half the work now, Phil would wonder what happened to the woman he knows and loves!:7 He'd be worried that I'd expect even more from him too!LOL UGH! I'm so thankful I didn't become a Christian until after I divorced him!! sigh. See, why I'm sensitive. I'm sure your dh is a sweetie though! On to better news... When you're done with your dishes, can you come over to my bathroom and do mine? ;-) Enjoy your free time! Love Ya!

Jeanette: I have to correct myself. PUB/PLB are on my wish list. Just not very high on my wish list. Which would you chose to buy first: PUB/PLB, GS, BM2, MM, or PP/SS? So many to choose, so little $.

Well, I'm off to toss a coin to see if it'll be BC or LIC.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL

Hi, everyone! Yes, I'm back from Boise. It was great. Did Push/Pull UB x2 premix again Monday and today a 60 min run.

Tomorrow I have to be in KANSAS all day - leaving for the flight 5:30 a.m. and if all goes on time getting back to the airport 11:30 p.m. Yowza! So no workout tomorrow.

Wendy, glad you found some cute capris. Yayy!

Can't wait for the road trip!!

Debra, Sandra, Tracy, Laurie - sounds like everyone is having a good day!

Heading up to my mom and dad's for dinner. I want to see my grandparents before they leave so I thought free dinner sounded good:)

WendyX, You know, I do this to myself;) I feel like if I am staying home the least I can do is keep my house clean. My DC are such mess makers and I feel like my life has become a big cleaning whirlwind with little results. I actually read a good book called "Being a Great Mom and Raising Great Kids" that was very encouraging. It made me realize that my purpose on earth is to serve others, especially my family. It's hard sometimes because I want to do stuff just for me but one day I will again:) There was a good poem in the book that put into focus all of the busy work I do:

My hands were busy through the day.
I didn't have much time to play
The little games you asked me to,
I didn't have much time for you.

I'd wash your clothes.
I'd sew and cook,
But when you'd bring your picture book
And asked me please to share the fun,
I'd say "A little later son."

I'd tuck you in all safe at night
And hear your prayers, turn out the light,
Then tiptoe softly to the door....
I wish I'd stayed a minute more.

For life is short, the years rush past.
A little one grows up so fast.
No longer are they at your side,
Their precious secrets to confide.

The picture books are put away,
There are no longer games to play.
No good-night kisses, no prayers to hear,
That all belongs to yesteryear.

My hands once busy, now are still
The days are long and hard to fill.
I wish I could go back and do
The little things you asked me to.

Puts things into perspective every time I read it:)
