Evening ladies,
Today was a nice, quiet day at work. Got lots of little things done. One more day and then 4 days off! Spoke with the Zappos people today as I tried to print out a return label last night and got messed up. Their service is A #1. I ordered the 3 pairs of shoes on Sunday and received them on Monday. Also got an email back from Tracey Staehle. She is sending me a replacement DVD right away, just asked that I mail the other one back to her, she will credit the shipping on my next order. Think I will check out The Parts DVD tomorrow. Hope it doesn't freeze.
Laurie, ^^^5555's on your LGI8 rotation!!! Awesome results!!! My legs/butt still had lots of fat left on them after the Classic Rotation, though my upper body and abs were pretty lean. Guess I need to do something different this time. Sigh, I'm not a big fan of leg workouts, unless it's floorwork. I like laying down to do my workout. You'll see who the laziest Xer is this time. It'll be pretty obvious. That sounds like a great price on the Perfect Pushup at Walmart. Is that a bra? Just kidding. That's neat that you like to sew. The last thing I think I made was a maternity dress. Son is now 26 so it's been a while. I sewed like a mad woman all day long on this dress to wear to a company party. I tried it on and it looked like a tent. Wadded it up in a box and we didn't go to the party. That broccoli casserole sounds yummy doesn't it? Nice that your DH helps decorate the tree. Mine thinks he just has to run the chainsaw and cut the tree down. Extra on his part would be to cut off some of the lower limbs. I think my golf swing must be so bad that guys can't wait to help me (someone get that girl some help!). Every once in a while, I hit one and it really sails, that's what keeps me coming back for more. Someone told me of a really good lady instructor over in Reno, Nevada. I think I may look her up someday.
Carol, so sorry that your family is not feeling well still. Sending good vibes that they get over this bug soon. Thanks for reminding me to do LIS with an 8" step. That will make it just right when I want a little more intensity. Looking forward to doing the X with you too.
Anointed, got a nice email from Tracey Staehle, think I will check out her Step Sweatfest too. Hope you can get around to doing it before the X starts. I can sense your excitement! Go for it on Saturday, it's your rotation! I received the Parts workout too, but haven't previewed it yet. I just might do it tomorrow. There are some good reviews on Video Fitness forum. I'm looking forward to the 4 days off too.
Sandra, way to go on getting PlyoX done! I remember really hitting a wall with it in Week #3. Brings back some very fond memories, not. Yep, I'm getting to be a golf nut. Don't know how my poor DH puts up with me. I'll be playing with the prison priest on Friday morning. Hoping I can remember the tips from my lesson yesterday. I hope to get a couple of bike rides in over the 4 days too. Still feeling the love there too. Sunday's ride was a good one, nice tough little climbs with beautiful weather. I forgot about putting brown sugar in my Oat Bran. I've been avoiding Splenda pretty well. I need to go buy some Stevia at the health food store. I like DOMS in my lats, though frankly, I rarely get DOMS. I remember how Tony layers it on, but that it doesn't interfere with the next workout (usually).
Nicole, hope the dr's appointments went well today. Sending out good vibes to you too on the spot. Still love your Meez. So cozy.
Wendy, that's awesome about the guy checking out the booty! I don't think my butt is so big, it's that my legs are so short. In my next life I will be about 5'7" or so, with long legs. Anyway, it's always nice for the ego when you catch a guy looking. LOL about your Classic Rotation!!! You are such a character! No pro guy checking out my booty. He's just a nice guy, not even a pro, just a volunteer seeing a gal with a really bad swing. An old damsel in distress here. Baking? Girl, I think your comfort zone is to have lots going on, and lots of chaos! Keep going on the packing.
Swifty, so nice to have you fly thru here! How was the pie contest? Did you get to sample some of the pies too? LOL re: losing a shoe and cup size. That would be me too. So you are perimenopausal? Is that why the periods are scarce? I'll be 49 soon and I'm still as regular as the evening news. Glad you got some peace of mind. I usually schedule a pap and mammo in November along with my birthday, but think I will skip and do it next year for the big 5-0. My bad. At that time, I'll have bone density and menopausal tests done. I just had blood tests done for life insurance purposes earlier this year (I'm a terrible blood giver).
Traci, did I miss something? Don't like my gal to be upset. I'll have to check out OD. Why has it been a day from he**? You know we all want to know. I'll be tipping back a nice glass on Thursday for sure.
Got to go do more reading,
Jeanette
