Good evening!
Last week for Phase 1 starts today! C&B and ABX done! I can't believe the improvement in such a short time. It could be that I'm better at chosing the correct weight for the reps than when I first started. I still can't do all of ABX or a single pull-up. What I can do is getting easier. Phil and I compared ourselves to our day 1 pictures and there is a noticeable difference in both our stomaches and arms. All in all, progress is happening!

I'll be PM'ing you with my order. I have to find the link to the shirts again. Phil is at the grocery store. I'll ask him if he wants one when he gets back. How was your ds's art class? Is it a group class or one on one? Dd does private lessons for an hour once a week. It takes at least a few weeks to complete on project. I thought she'd get bored, but the time flys by! I like that she's learning to take her time. I thought about having another homeschooler join us during her class. Then I realized that I like not having to share. I can also have her teacher focus on a certain artist, style, painting, or historical information that will mesh with our other studies. He does a good job with combining our goals with his technique goals. For example, when she was studying flowers, he did a picture study using Redoute's paintings and focused on the techniques Redoute used to achieve the color variation. I suppose that makes me a selfish control freak. ;-)
DEBRA
Will you be living with relatives while you're house hunting? Hopefully, the housing prices are lower in NC, so you can get more house for your money. I'm sure your mercury levels are fine. You're not glowing in the dark, are you? ;-)
KATIE
You know, I've never tried any of the IMAXes. I was just easing myself into Cathe's advanced dvds when Dh asked me to get him P90X. I decided to join him since I surprisingly passed the fit test. And, I thought it would help get me shape before the road trip. Dh and I didn't workout with Tony tonight. We just read what needed to be done from our worksheets and did it on our own. It moved faster for us. I don't think it's cheating.
SANDRA!!!
You naughty, naughty girl! I can't believe you would attempt to lead me astray. I would throw gigantic words at you, but I'm too beat to pick up the thesaurus. And, I call myself an Xer. :7 You could have waited at least a week to tell me. Glad you confessed without any outside pressure. Did you have an angel and devil sitting on your shoulder as you typed? }( Did you turn away from the dark side? Unless someone outed you, I would have gleefully believed I was doing in the easy part of YogaX. LOL At least you can have the satisfaction of breaking the Dreya news. I'm sure that was awfully painful for you to bring to my attention. I appreciate you not holding anything back! ...like reminding me of two CS during my recovery weeks. Really, I'm touched. ;-) If you're interested in chatting online with other homeschoolers from all over the world, the Well Trained Mind's K-8 and General Homeschooling boards are a good places. Thanks for the holler to Trecia. She's so crazy fun and FUNNY! I'm sure she got a kick out of it. Oh, thanks for the link. Basically, I should have waited to shed those last 5 pounds before I started the X. Oh, well. Too late now!
AMY
Now, now... From what I've been told, we first timers are not allowed to sub if we want to reach our maximum potential. So, that means NO NEW Cathe dvds or MP3s or MP4s until after the 90 day rotation is complete. But, I wouldn't put it past them to tease me considering they are subbing out the wahzoo! Nah. Really, they explained it all to me earlier. All I remember is that I pledged to not sub for 90 days and then changed it to 28 days. ;-) I wouldn't put much stock into BB's free expediated shipping either. I'd hate to see what regular shipping means to them!
LAURIE
Oh, doing half of Yoga shouldn't be a problem. From what I hear, you did the difficult half. ;-) Looks like you and your dds got chest and back in today too with all that shoveling. Hope your visit with your parents was nice. Congrats with the no pain, 12 pound, lying triceps. You are brave. I'm always afraid those suckers will come crashing down if I up my weights. BFFM is a popular book. Is it the one only available as an ebook?
TEDDYGIRL
If I have to bear it with a smile, so do you! ;-) I wish I could recommend something. However, YogaX is the first and only yoga dvd I've ever done.
Traci-X: Awwww! I'm sure they are still cute. I'll take a look and tell you my honest opinion after I post. Just tell your MIL that they have a face only a mother can love! She might not be able to relate since I'm sure your dh isn't UGLY. Quick ? Were you able to complete ARX when you first did it? And if you weren't, were you able to when you finished your rotation? Now that you mention it, their shoes do look like a fashion statement. Oh No! Do you know what that means? I have an excuse to buy me some cute maryjane sneakers at Paiva. You, OTOH, have to keep your shoes ON! If I were to remodel your house, your house and your savings would be cleaned! ;-)
Tracy: Oh dear! What are we going to do with you. Do I need to mend that X voodoo doll? I hope you're pain doesn't last too long! You continually amaze and inspire me to do more.
Jennette: That's it! We're having our Xer get together at your house. We can sit on your new comfy sofa and bathed under the glow of your new lighting. Your dh can BBQ us some protein. We can eat delicious pies procured from your mother. Oh, and you can do ALL the dishes because we're the guests. LOL You are the one who requested the cheesecake recipe, right? I don't want to accidentally send it to the wrong person, and be accused of sabotaging anyone's clean diet. I have an awesome crust recipe using a food processor from Cooking magazine. If you're interested, I could send it to you too.
Well, I'm off to look at the Traci's shaved babies.
Sweet Dreams!
