Okay okay! What's going on? What have you all been up to? I've got some time to get busy with personals!
Traci - Ah, I see you're letting your sentances are do the running for you today. You refer to a rehab hump - are you getting close to full function? That was quite the cleaning job you did, oh my! Please, come to my house! I won't make you work; I'll ply you with yummy stuff and tell you how you need to be kinder to yourself. It's how I make friends
You really want to hear about my visit from The Parents? The details of that would only make the headlines of The Dull As Ditchwater News. There was lots of eating, of course, plenty of playing with children (the 2 year old has gotten so used to getting attention that she now expects me to actually play with her every waking second), shopping for Christmas presents, many rounds of Scrabble, more eating, a visit to a greenhouse/farm that was hosting a Halloween festival, a visit to the local farmer's market, and ah, eating.
Tracy - Congratulations on the 25 years as an Honorably Married Woman. Colour me surprised, but don't you already have a complete dumbell set? Or did you only have the ones above 15lbs?
I hope you had some more energy this morning.
Lea - What sort of workout approach are you taking these days? Are you following a rotation, or winging it? Have fun rolling those pumpkins!
Nicole - It's always a relief to see you check in. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how you're doing. With the winds dying down there appears to be hope that they can get things under control. What part of California are you in? Which of the fire(s) is closest to you?
Teddygirl - It's so easy to overindulge in the tasty stuff, isn't it? I hear you. I have no doubt you'll get rid of the extra weight. Your attitude alone is enough to send it hightailing. I wouldn't want to be an ounce of fat on you, when you start getting serious about losing me!
Carol - While your mentally struggling, just remember...some of us are still waiting for our new workouts! At least you have the privilege of reluctantly doing HIS! Seriously, I hope your workout picks you up a bit.
Jeanette - How's my family-wanna-be doing? Another question: why are some people refering to the 4DS as the 2007 workouts? Are you seeing any smoke from the fires?
Debra - OMG, do you make this stuff up?? You definitely need a therapeutic thursday. My goodness, I feel badly for you. How is DD? And will you actually go through with chemo for the kitty? You're a kinder woman than I. I was thinking of buying that Eoin dvd when I order the new PYFH (surfer edition) that comes out next month. Be sure to let me know how you like it. You're dating again! Maybe you already mentioned this, but I missed it: where/how did you meet this new friend?
Swift Amy - How nice to see such a long post(s) from you yesterday! I see you're still full-swing into Round 2. Go Amy Go!!!! Will you be buying the new P90X+ workouts (like I have to ask...)? Mmmmm, I want to come and eat at your house. It all sounds so yummy! Your method of repairing your shoulder reminds me how how people try to fix the tv with a good thump to the top. Too funny! I'm glad it's finally fixed for you! Now you have no excuse not to do the crazy-intense pull ups in the new workouts!
Wendy - You had cervical cancer when you were 25?! Oh my word! I'm so thankful you caught it early and are here to regale us with tales about Crazy Asian mothers. I sure am going to miss your posts when you're gone. My parents leave for Thailand in 10 days, and Mom's getting pretty stressed. She's a high-anxiety person to begin with, so I'm thinking this will push her over the edge. I've thought about staying away from the boards until the new workouts arrive, but I don't really have too much problem avoiding all the talk about the new workouts. Since I don't know what the heck they're talking about, my eyes glaze over and I move on. Everyone's assessment is so personal that others' opinions don't mean much to me. You lust after Anthony Bourdain? I tried to read Kitchen Confidential years ago and found his smug macho arrogance too much to suffer, so never finished it. Maybe he comes off better on tv, but I've never attempted to watch.
Laurie - You have an extra long weekend! What are you going to do with all your days off?
This morning I did PUB (no core), IMAX2 Blastmania, and PY4H Magically Hips.
Cheers,
Sandra
