Hi all,

Tuesday again already! Today is hopefully a run if I can get home from work before it gets dark. Otherwise, I might do the eliptical. I'll also do a little yoga:) I think that I caught up with almost everyone yesterday.

:7 Today is YOGA DAY!:7 I'll do 60-90minutes of Shiva Fluid Power
~Yesterday: LOVED doing Slo Mo All Upper (in full not pre-mix)... I just think she has moves in this series that are targeting every muscle group in a unique way. Thanks to Tracy's advice tho I did go much lighter (normally half of Amy) and I still am DOMS-Y }(
The secret for me is perfect focus & form and because I dont know the moves in my sleep yet (like SH) so I can keep my attention strong. I am looking forward to Slo Mo Legs tomorrow with all the modifications

~~~ My core is so sore from the Eoin Yoga 2 days ago! It hit about noon yesterday and its my entire core }( No ab work but ab DOMS! I feel like I won the lottery! ~ Oh the eliptical sounds like a fun change today for you!!! I bet you get that sucker crankin! :7 Thanks for posting the short title on Shiva! WTH is that about? :+ The only reason I knew it was all still part of the title is that you NEVER write run-on senrences! :+

We did miss you on Sunday but I just figured you were with Sandra having a little fun away from computer;-) Your days off are so active! The image of Tillie sitting inside your jacket is just too cute:) Nice job on conquering GOLF! You improved so quickly- you must have an innate golf sense. That C*W w/o- I have never done that premix! I think its because I'm not fond of compound moves...I think I lack coordination-!}( So how will the family handle a birthday ON thanksgiving day? I think it should be B-Day FIRST:7 DH & I wanted to start tennis up again but with the time change we have to both mentally prepare for tennis at night. Oct-Dec has always been the busiest & most stressful time of year in our household & weekends seem to be worse than weekends so M-F tends to be as low key as we can keep it. DH did start a weight loss competition with my sister in CA TODAY! Je has to lose 15#s & she 10#s... Her daughter & I are keeping the weigh-ins honest! He was rarin' to go this morning. Hope ttom starts & ends on time- you are like a clock tho;-) Now go set that boss straight on the paperwork already! :*

Girl you made my brain get stuck on Chinese Food! Glad you got your fix!!! :7 I hope you love SloMo as much as I do... It feels so wonderful to actually have more than 1 lifting DVD that suits my goals & personality! Oh ALCOHOL is always good for meditation! That and "weed" }( Does Eoin have a guided meditation DVd or is it part of a workout DVD? The quote is BEAUTIFUL!!! Isnt that the truth.... Our DH's sound alike- eating out is always like watching the bottomless pit in action! Its a mental thing- you pay for it you eat it- took me years to get him to understand the doggie-bag concept...He still eats everything thats on his plate tho most times. ~ Your workout stats are simply AMAZING! I am so proud of you for taking your back recovery seriously and then overcoming the mental limitations on your recovery road.:*

What is your X plan for pullups? My 1st round was a band over door - now I have a door gym that works just fine for me- enough resistance for this Xer;-) ~ Shoulder still in recovery but I'm getting some strength back- it probably needs another 30 days of no upper work but thats not going to happen so I dont think about it. Trying to sleep is by far the most painful time.

So I guessed correctly on the CIA eh? I JUST KNEW IT! :7 LOL on your WHY WHY WHY????? Well- I like the structure- I like Tony- I like the results.... As far as following it... Hell Sandra I didnt FOLLOW IT round 1! :+ :+ :+ :+ My personal opinion (as an original Xer I feel I get to have a voice in this!) I think as long as you do the weight work as produced for all 299 weeks then you get X status! The other days can be Plyo of choice, Leg of choice, and Kick of choice BUT I also think that a week or 2 in each Phase could be done exactly as Tony says!:p Hows that for logic! ~~ Also- The timing is perfect... 13 weeks of Tony.... a few weeks of fumbling & stumbling on my own then STS :7 Also- IF & WHEN my January business starts making my schedule tighter I'll need the structiure and efeectiveness of 60 minute w/os-- Oh one thing- WHY do these intructors omit exercises in splits? I'd rather have the choice of fast forwarding if I dont have time but to omit seems plain rude to me!:eek: - Like Slo Mo.... ONE upper only premix and its 30 minutes! With Warmup & stretch its 20 minutes for 5 body parts???? WTH}( Can ya tell I'm FEISTY today???? Sending FEEL GOOD vibes for both DD1 & 2!!!! :*

Good Morning Xers!!

I got up at 6:45 like a good girl to work out (I'm planning on doing the 4DS upper body premix) and got to my workout space to find the remote to the DVD player missing }( }( }( This is a cheapie DVD player that NEEDS the remote and the kids are, of course, still sleeping. So, I'll have to work out tonight :( How annoying.

Debra -- I can be lazy sometimes, too, lol. DH probably takes the cake in our house for lazy, though...

Traci-X -- I bought a pull-up bar awhile ago that works great in my workout space :D I've done several of the P90X workouts, I just haven't ever followed the rotation. I'll probably cheat on Tony, too ;-) I just love Cathe too much, lol. I really do like variety, so I'll probably throw in the occasional Cathe cardio (or add it on }( )

Hi there lovely ladies! Waiting for the diva to get done in the bathroom and actually eat some breakfast before school. My plan is 4DSKB as produced...so I shouldn't have a problem getting to that today. I will probably do the arm drill twice as I think that gives some added upper body benefits. I will not be adding any to the leg portion, though....LOL! I bought a few new yoga dvds last night...One, of course, is the one that Tracy recommended...I will let you guys know how the rest are when I get them.

....Tracy....Caught up with your last post last night...Hope you get your run in so that you don't have to get on the elliptical today!

...Traci...Thanks for Sandra's feedback on the X. I agree with your assessment 100% I just don't think I have it in me right now to be that strict with a rotation. I am also really enjoying doing yoga every other day. It really seems to have a lot of benefits for me. I am sure I will like Slo Mo...just want to do this last full week of Cathe before I start mixing it up again. I am starting to get a bit impatient for my meditation CDs...I don't think that is very calming! Eoin just has a short 7 minute meditation on his Pure and Simple Yoga....He really just leads you through some breathing exercises...but you know how I like to listen to him. Have fun with Shiva today!

....Jeanette...Sounds like you had a wonderful day on Sunday! Glad the group ride went well. Nice to sit out under the stars and just take in the moment sometimes. And the golf seems to be coming along very well, too! When do you play with the priest again?? I am glad your swing is improving...I am sure that helps your state of mind while playing. How is that paperwork coming along at work?

Hello

Nope didn’t get workout in last night when I got home Ted had a romantic evening planned for me. My goodness it was GREAT!!

This morning me :+ did Butts & Guts didn’t have time to do abs which I really been slacking doing.

Tonight, me and my sister Daphane our going to a health seminar at 7pm. I plan on leaving work today at 4:15 rush home and get me a cardio workout in not sure which and not sure I will be able to get cardio in but I’m going to try.

Debra: I love that quote. Thanks for posting.

I will be back I got a big project I need to get done for me:+ boss.

Sorry I didn't get back on yesterday. I find once I get myself into a project at home I can't seem to get my butt back upstairs onto the computer. :D I was taking the funiture in the family room and moving it around to see how our "new furniture" will look. That is right, DH and I went shopping on Saturday and bought new furniture. :) Our poor loveseat was looking worse for the wear (lots and lots of stuffing exposure). So tomorrow morning it will be delivered.

After being by myself yesterday, and getting so much done in the house, I now want a job that I can do from home. Or do I just need to be on permanent vacation. :7 :7 :7

Cami went to the groomers yesterday and came home smelling like a vanilla cookie. :D Some seasonal shampoo they use. She was pretty pleased with herself, and got a cute pink bandana. She liked getting her teeth brushed, but getting her nails done was torture. On Thursday she goes to her first day at doggie day care. We need to have someplace to board her when we go on vacation. So we figured that one day a week she can go to daycare. :D Hope she has fun. I'm thinking Fridays will be her rest day.

Traci, Have to say I agree with you on the X. I wouldn't have my XX status, because I didn't do the plyo, Kb or abs as stated. I did do all the strength workouts, but I think I would change up the Leg workout. And I'm still thinking about joining you on another round. :D I will be done with this rotation tomorrow, and will do a couple weeks of the 4DS series. Then I'm thinking of a round 3 of the X. :D Still thinking though.

Sandra, On my round 2 of the X I subbed the KB, Plyo, abs and yoga. The upper body workouts are some of the best so I didn't mess with those. On both rounds of the X the leg work wasn't enough for me, so I will probably have to change or even add a heavy weight workout.

Debra, If you have the Cardio Kicks workout, adding on the drills from that workout would be good too. The drills on the end of that workout are good also.

Carol, Had to LOL about the remote. Seems I'm always looking for ours also.

TG, So nice that Ted had a romantic meal all prepared for you. My DH hasn't made me a romantic meal since we where dating. :7 Your seminar sounds interesting. Let us know how it goes.

Good morning,
Today was Step Jam for me. Don't think I've ever done this one before. It's from Cathe's Classics DVD. It was okay. I'm on the verge of TTOM so I'm dragging a bit and puffy, very puffy.

Tracy, your getting home in time to run or do the eliptical reminds me that I very easily could jump on the trainer for a spin. You put me to shame...

Traci, hoping you really enjoy your yoga day today. 60-90 minutes of yoga that you enjoy sounds great. Now 90 minutes of YogaX, that's something else. I don't know how innate my golf skills are yet, but I am getting a leetle more consistent. Elbow didn't bother me at all, in fact, I didn't even wear the brace yesterday and we were out for a good 4 hours. It's not healed, but it's not even something I think about any more. Just a couple movements like grabbing a 1/2 gallon of milk from a higher shelf in the fridge, or turning on the shower knob that bothers it. It's the grasping of the fingers that initiates it. My birthday on Thanksgiving has happened many times before. Our family is not big on birthdays, though there is usually a cake or dessert and a few presents. We just don't plan the whole day around the birthday. Thanksgiving will be the main event and I'm plenty fine with that as it's my favorite holiday of the year. You are fortunate that you can play tennis at night. Right now, I'm in the mode of come home from work, eat something, take a snooze. Will sit my boss down very soon and have him cause the promotion paperwork to go thru. It's kind of like the squeaky wheel gets the grease. If no one says anything, someone else may sweep this one to the bottom of the pile.

Debra, hope you enjoy the KB today. I think I blew my wad of strictness a year ago during P90X and haven't been able to conjure that discipline or enthusiasm up again. Who knows? What a difference a year can make, good or bad, but then again, I think it's all good. I actually played with the prison priest yesterday. He arranged for a lesson for both of us with probably the best golfer in town, who is also a Correctional Lieutenant in an office not far from mine. It helped a lot. Our lesson was just on driving, then we (4 of us) played 9 holes. The lesson definitely carried over into the game. No stellar scores, but I didn't have any bad moments in the game either, though I know they'll come. I never thought I'd play this game until I was much older, but glad I've found it now. I'm going to focus on your quote today as I feel there will be some resistance this week.

Anointed, wow, a romantic evening!!! How wonderful!!! You deserve it girl!!! Hope you can bask in the afterglow today. B&G is one I need to get out soon. I'm going to be eating clean today. Wasn't too bad yesterday, but feeling bloated big time today. Yuk!

Are you almost at the end of LGI8? Way to go for sticking with this!!! Did you get some good results? Isn't new furniture fun? I'd love to work from home, but always joked that if the boss called me, he would hear the horses in the background. Bet Cami smells yummy! Doggy daycare sounds great. I took little Tillie over to a friend's house. My friend has MS and has been in a wheelchair for a long time. She has a Manx cat that thought Tillie was something to eat. Made Tillie super nervous so back to the car she went. That cat was something else.

I stayed up way too late last night. I'm paying for it today!

Never brought myself to check out Cathe's November rotation. Instead, I did the Fluidity dvd. Figured, I won't be doing that one while gone. That's my logic, and I'm sticking to it!:p

Thank goodness I'm caught up or ahead of schedule with the girls' homeschool! It's going to be a light day.

I really need to start my yoga so I can have it done before my DH gets home with #3. That's right, no overtime today so DH is home again:D

He will be going on a bike ride so I'll come chat then.

He was sweet and took me to dinner last night. I feel so bloated today but I know it will be gone soon enough.

Everyone: I am such an airhead. I must have mentally blocked my actual departure day. I'm leaving on the 22nd. That's Thanksgiving Day! I can't believe I never noticed it when 1) I booked. 2) I confirmed my itinerary over the Internet. and 3) When my tickets arrived. It doesn't matter. I always knew I wouldn't be here for Thanksgiving. But, I didn't really think I'd be flying either! Oh, well. I bought a pumpkin pie last night to ease the pain.:+

Debra-X: All done with Christmas shopping! Did you do this while your dd was playing with the fundamentalists? ROFL! Do you realize that most people would consider me a fundamentalist? LOL Of course, I'm on the extreme left of that fringe group.}( I was talking about you to my BFF yesterday. We also had a good laugh about your unschooling neighbors inviting your dd to church. See, it's funny because the church we both used to attend had Vacation Bible School (VBS). I wouldn't let my girls go. Excuse me, I have a life! And, my girls already do daily devotions. Anyhow, isn't VBS for the unsaved children and their parents!:eek: The kicker was when my good friend knew my thoughts (went deeper than what I've typed here), and she had her 4 year old son call my 5 year old dd to ask her to go to VBS. He told her that he would get points for bringing in a guest. A guest! She went to that church! What kind of evangelizing is that!:eek: }( I am so going to hell.;) Anyhow, I told her that you reminded me of me! And, I told her to pray for me, instead of encouraging my sinfulness with her laughter, while I was away representing Christ to all because she knows how rebellious I can be! Okay, back to shopping: Last night I used my Limited Two coupon for some My Little Pet Shop animals and backpacks to hold them for the twins. And, I bought them a calendar featuring pigs dressed up on parade. That's it for Christmas. The rest is up to Phil!:p }( My other shopping included my Thailand friend's wish list. I told her I'd bring her a suitcase filled with things from home.She asked for Borax and Arm & Hammer Washing Soap! What does that say about Thailand?:eek: :7 I don't know. All I know is that her suitcase has reached its weight limit!!!!

Carol: Does your computer have a dvd player? What about the XBox? Do you have one of those? How about dh's old laptop? Is it really that old? I hate it when I lose remotes. Our bedroom dvd player is the same.

TG: So, you didn't get a traditional workout in last night. Look at the positives. Sounds like you and Ted got some non-traditional workout done!}( :+

Jeanette-X: Yes, I am getting a little excited again. I would be more excited if you joined me!:7 But, I understand. Tillie would miss you too much! BTW, how is her eye doing? Does she ever stumble around? Excuse me? Not a real productive day? Oh my! You'd hate to be me then!!! Glad to see you got a bike ride in this weekend!!! It won't be long before the weather rears it's ugly head for months on end!

Okay, I've gotta go and do something productive like math. I'll try to BBL for more personals before Bible Club.

Tracie: am I missing something? Are you referring to starting the P90X again, when and where? I’m with you it’d be fun, C mon guys at least we all can start it, if we finish we finish if we don't we don't. Trac, what day our we starting? Hurry and get back to me, I am soooooooo excited.

Okay, there’ll be no cardio for me tonight argh....not happy about it either. My sister just won’t leave me alone, now she has talked me into coming over her house right after work. The dog gone thang doesn’t start till 7pm, my gosh! okay maybe we can hit Parma Town Mall or I can play in her closet :) x(
 
You girls are so crazy. You had me laughing with yesterday's posts. First off, it is so hard to be sensual with yoga when you have two kids running around and DH is not the most flexible person that I know. Yeah, there was lots of grunting going on, but not from what you thinkx( .

Miss Traci, I think I am going to skip this round of X. While it sounds enticing, yoga is calling me and I can all ready see a little of the results in my arms and legs. I am going to try yoga abs tomorrow with Rodney Yee and some running. That should be good.

I have a crazy day today, so I will try to catch up tomorrow. Have a great day.
