Happy Easter everyone!
Doubles/ Phase 1 /Week 1 /Day 7

Well I woke up at 3:15am and decided to put on my big girl panties and just move on from yesterdays Ultra Binge Day. Kenpo always MAH-VA-LOUS! And today is Stretch but I just had one of those didn’t I? Who knows…. If the spirit moves me I may do a lite cardio- perfect day for bike ride on paper …. Execution is another thing if you consider the 3” of rain we had/having as I speak! The poor Easter Bunny shall never make it to my house unless he has a boat…considering yesterday I do believe this is a good thing!
My booty still is OUCHIE when I go to little girls room…. I can confirm however that it has not shrunk yet!
MIL wants to cook today – DH told her OK but we have to leave by 3 to watch the Masters last day! LOL. Gotta love a boy that loves his mom! She cooks everything with bacon grease and Velveeta & Miracle Whip and I always end up with severe tummy cramps so I will call that my penalty for yesterdays choices. Oh Happy Eater! (oops I mean Easter!)

Lea: Well I am so happy that you not only checked in but that you found Sandra’s DD! Since I am childless I tend to get distracted easily and actually forgot she was missing! Instead I walked to the local Sweet Tooth Shop and spent the day with my face in sugar! Stayed all day until I went to the local Chip Factory and ate BBQ Chips til my mouth was numb…I’m glad you are OK tho- I thought many times yesterday how wonderful / challenging it must be having all the kids + DH’s around for several days. I’m ready for mine to go back to work. I do believe that the 50% of marriages that survive do so only because at least 1 partner works a great deal of the time! If we win the lottery I shall keep it a secret I think! Happy Easter Egg hiding/hunting/cracking/coloring.

Debra: You are quickly becoming a little chuckle master! You are so correct about the treats & muscle… I can already see the additional bulge on my tummy & thighs from the NoPudge + All Pudge foods of yesterday! Did you know that cupcakes & chips look nearly the same on the thigh as FF Cottage Cheese? Glad Eionn is working for you! I like the pace of that one and the setting and OF COURSE the dirty talk!

Sandra: So happy you got a bit of a break today! It must feel like walls closing in sometimes with DH & kids home. I get that way with just DH and dogs! When are we taking a moms day off? I do believe we seriously had this discussion in May of last year!!! Did you submit to your appropriate Canadian Political Parties? I put the remaining No Pudge boxes in very dark and hidden corner of pantry… Out of sight ya know! You are 100% on target about recovery foods all week. I never got in my groove with the recovery / 5 balanced meals etc…. For some reason I was running around a lot last week and my schedule ever seemed to fall according to plan so eating was the first to suffer. While the rest of world is having Easter dinner I’ll go to grocery store and get my act together. I have a huge half of Salmon to cook up & DH wont eat Salmon so I think that will be good for my protein/fat for a day or 2. I have the veggies so it should be fairly easy to get on track.

TRACY: LOL on throwing food out as I’m eating!!!! Actually NO that has never dawned on me! It crosses my mind once I’ve swallowed but NEVER during the insidious act! OBVIOUSLY why you are a thin person and I am a fat person in thin clothing. Yep- Its all of the self sabotage too. I just push the envelope too far and then I spin. I need you here as my coach for sure! Glad you took the time at home to heal and not do the road trip. Great decision for yourself- You could have been in severe discomfort. I wonder if P90X has ever had 30 day pics submitted where the participant has gained fat???

Jeanette, Laurie, Steph, Wendy, Katie & TeddyGirl: Big Bunny Hugs to you this morning!!!

Happy Easter to 1 and all!!

I'm awake. I'm reading. Gaaawd, those kids who invented the Easter Bunny should have kept the secret to themselves!!!

Very tired SandraX

Did our little Sandra have a long nite doing evil things with the Easter Bunny? }(

Its 7am and I am all done with cooking proteins for the week...
Alaskan Salmon, Turkey Burger Patties, Chicken Breasts, Turkey Bacon

Now all I have to do is make some veggies/salad each day and I'm good to go for a successful week! I am optimistic as I am taking MIL No Pudge Brownie mixes today so she can pudge out!}(

Going to do a 40 minute BootCamp Cardio/Lower Mix and call it a morning...This afternoon I'll toss in StretchX and have some Tony time. :7

BTW: I can see ya'll eating bunny ears- DROP THAT BUNNY:*

Okay. Coffee has been ingested (or should that be "injected"?). The brain is thinking more clearly. I'm usually up at 5am, but I don't go to bed at 11pm, then get woken up a few times through the night by a child who is too excited about the Easter Bunny to sleep!

DebraX - Interesting comments on the history of the EB. I always assumed it was chosen as the pagan Easter symbol just because of its high fertility levels. Breeding like bunnies, and all that sort of stuff. EB left small, foil wrapped chocolate eggs all around the house. As she was searching for them, I asked DD if the Easter Bunny pooped them out. She laughed and said no. But really, they kind of look like pretty bunny poop, don't they? That's a funny/sweet conversation you had with your DD about EB. I'm loving Age 6 for those kinds of things. Oh, the conversations we have on a daily basis. My DD left a note for the EB, but it's actually a questionnaire. He was required to answer a bunch of questions about his gender, home, etc. It's safe to say we now know enough about him that we can include him on the next round of the Canadian Census.

I'm chatting on about the EB because I have nothing X-y to write about. Today is my rest day. I always like to do XStretch on this day, but I doubt I'll cram it in today. I've left all the house work until today, as well as laundry, and need to prepare the ham dinner for the neighbours. I'm still debating about doing the ham in the crockpot or the oven.

TraciX - I sincerely hope you get your eating back together today. It's really frustrating to watch yourself go overboard. All that sugar, salt & fat couldn't be making you feel very good today. Yes, a fun shopping trip can sometimes help in that department, hey? How about you set a goal for yourself and challenge yourself to try a new vegetable? Pick something you've never had before, and give it a go. There's so many options out there. I'm sorry your MIL cooks the old fashioned way. It would be so nice to enjoy the company of others if we didn't feel we'd end up paying the price for it later. I've tossed around the idea of getting a nutritional degree for years. I also really like consumer education. Put the two together, combine it with teaching high school kids, and I think I would enjoy that. Too bad I'm currently going in a completely different direction from that!

LeaX - Thank heavens you're all right!!!! Are Easter celebrations keeping you from us? How has your first week of the X finished up? Did you do LB, ARX, and KenpoX? I'll bet DH is disappointed the handcuffs aren't fun anymore ;) LMAO about the slippery baby! Makes me think of farmers trying to catch greased pigs for sport. Does that actually happen, or am I still in a semi-conscious dream state? Nope, not the first ToothFairy visit. The 5th. Poor DD#1. She loses teeth early, and gets them late. Her first bottom teeth fell out 16 months ago, and only started growing in again last month. In the mean time, she lost her two top teeth, and now another one on the bottom. There are 3 more teeth loose, and they will probably fall out within a couple of weeks. What I'm trying to say is that by the end of April, she will be missing 6 of the 8 teeth we have in the front of our mouths, and the 2 she does have will only be half-way through. She'll be sucking her food through a straw for at least a year!!! No apples or corn on the cob for her!

Wendy - You must still be sleeping :)

TracyX - Enjoy your dinner at the SIL and BIL's. Is this a rest day for you?

Deb - Did you do XStretch today?

Katie & Teddygirl - I know you don't read the forums on the weekend, but I have issues with ignoring people :) So, hello!

Monica & StephanieX - Lapsed posters. I know you're out there! Happy reading. I hope all is well with both of you.

LaurieX - You'll be busy with church and socials today, I imagine. Have a nice day. Will you be stretching today?

JeanetteX - Any long bike rides today? Are you feeling pumped for your first time trial on Tuesday evening? Who holds a race on a week night? How long is the distance, and do you have a goal?

Yesterday's eating went great....until bed time. I had to stay up past my own bed time to ensure DD was asleep before the EB arrived. So, at 10pm I was feeling hungry again....and putting out chocolate eggs....so I just had to have a few. If I'd gone to bed when I was supposed to....But alas, I was able to stop eating them around #5, thank heavens. Here's my menu for yesterday:

Breakfast:
oatmeal, 4 eggs whites, banana

Snack:
Boost (pre workout)

Lunch:
garlic-beef deli meat on 2 slices ww toast, ff mayo, tomato slices, mustard
orange

Snack:
Kashi Go-Lean cereal with soymilk

Supper:
Ginger-glazed salmon with whole grains (barley & brown rice). This is a frozen, prepared meal that you just put in the oven.
cooked spinach
pumpkin-cauliflower soup
caramel fudge ice-cream (I actually had enough calories left to my day to have a half-cup! Nice! This may have set me up for wanting the chocolate eggs, though).

Bedtime Snack:
1% milk
2 wheat germ crackers

Total calories, not counting the eggs: 1797.

Have a Great Day! Sorry for the inane chatter.
SandraX

That darn Easter bunny left eggs all over the family room! Now the dog is sniffing around looking for bunny poop...luckily she is not at Sandra's house or the kids would not have any chocolate to find!

Sandra...LOL about the questionnaire! We did not leave a note, just a snack of celery and rosemary with some water...DD keeps commenting about how much he ate..so I told her she was probably the only one on the block who left him a snack. I am not going to tell her about leaving EB a letter, so that I don't have to answer census questions! She got mostly gum and toys in her basket...she is just not a big chocolate eater. I am planning a nap this morning to get over the festivities.

Traci...Have fun at MILs today...Good luck with all of that Miracle Whip...I am strictly a mayo girl myself. If I were up at 5 am the last thing I would be doing is cooking meat for the week. Bless your little X heart! Sorry about all the rain there...we will just have to get some floaties for that bunny so her can bring your dogs some poo...I mean chocolate!

Okay...I am off for now. I have GS chest and tris on the books for today and I am going to clean the kitchen if it kills me! I also have laundry to do and trash to take out..etc, etc!

Happy bunny day to all!

HELLO!!!!! That darn EB got me up at 5am this morning!!! The kids didn't even wake up until about 6. At least the Easter Bunny decided to save me and go a little healthier with the kids Easter baskets this year. They got pretzels, graham crackers, fruit snacks, apple juice and a little jelly beans. I know, excitement for them, but they get CRAZY on sugar, especially my older one.

Traci X - 3:15!!! Why you got to sleep in, lucky you!! Since you are cooking meat for the week, can I ask you a question? I am very very lame when it comes to the cooking side of things. Do you freeze your meals after you cook them and then take them out a day in advance to defrost them? I wouldn't mind preparing meals in advance for the week. Wow, sounds like you had a very very busy day yesterday. Oh!!! My DS finally can ride his bike on his own. I clapped so loud that the neighbors down the street all stopped what they were doing and turned their heads. Ooopppss. Yeah, it would be a little nutty for me if DH was around constantly, as much as I love the feller. I definately need my space. Have fun at MIL. How can you stand all of that processed stuff? I hope it's yummy though. Today, we are going over to my ma's house. We are having an Easter bbq. She is going to hide eggs for the kids and they have a 2 story house, so should take all day. Me, I will just kick back and drink my wine and relax....ahhhhhhh.......

Sandra X -Ssssssuuuuuuueeeeeeyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! Come here girl. LOL. Next year we should tie up the Easter Bunny. I am sooooo sore from the X. Thought I pulled a butt muscle yesterday, but no, just sore sore sore. OUCHY!!!! Looking forward to shoulders and arms tomorrow. Actually that is the only X workout that I am looking forward to this week. Hmmm...Burnout all ready? Wow! Your DD is sure getting those teeth out quick. But as I have been told time and time again, girls are just more advanced than boys. Funny I was watching a little of the Constant Gardener yesterday and one of the comments on there was that God finally got it right the second time around with woman. Hmmmm......Have to raise my boys the right way!! Your eating is sooooo good. I swear, starting tomorrow, no more cocktails. That is my goal.

Debra X - Good morning to ya! Fondling the Easter Bunny. Well, I have to fondle something don't I}( ? Lucky you and the nap. What do you do with your DD while you are ZZZing? Do you let her go outside to play with Sandra's DD? Have a great time cleaning the house and napping(lucky girl).

Hi to Jeanette X, Tracy X, Wendy(how many eggs does the EB have to hide in your house?), Katie, Teddygirl, Deb, Monica, Steph, Laurie X. Is that everyone? I hope so, if not so sorry. Need another pot of coffee!!!

Lea

Good morning. My name is Amy. I was wondering if there might be room to stuff me into your X'ers check-in? My P90X shipped on Fri. Won't be long now:7 and I can start checking in. Is this the right place for beginners of X?

We had friends over last night and they just ordered too. But they are in VA and I'm in PA. Too bad- we could work out together.;(

I'm very interested and a bit wary of starting the eating plan. I used to be a super clean eater for years. I gradually added "bad" foods back in to my diet. I cook clean meals but portion sizes are way extreme. I snack way too much and can't pass a cookie jar without eating 2;-) or more dozen.

I'm hopeful that if I post my meals for the day as many of you do, this will aid in my getting back on the clean eating track. What do most of you with families serve when your having your lunch and dinner portions? Do you make the same for all or have to make extra for them?

Today I plan on indulging on the Easter buffet prepared by Mom. And starting off tomorrow with a food journal of sorts.

I did GS CT this morning and IMAX3 blasts only.

I'll be back after the meal and the eggs are found. Have a super day!:7

Welcome Swifty!
I shall let the other Xers discuss the nutritional aspect of program as I have had my face in sugar filled goodies for a week now. x(
There is actually another gal KATIE who will be starting her first round of X this Thursday so you'll be in good "start" company.
Congrats on taking the 90 day plunge- will either be the best decision of your life or worst... Tony does no in-between!

Happy Easter!

Amy - Hi there and Happy Easter. Welcome to our crazy, insane forum. Wahahahahahahahaha}( . You can NEVER turn back now. First off, congratulations for you X purchase. It is a ride. Please, yes, post your food journal. There are many very intelligent ladies here that will give you feedback (watch our for Sargeant Sandra though, she is a toughie). As for me personally, I don't follow the P90X nutrition plan. I am more of a Tosca plan eater. I definately have to get better if I want to look hot in my bathing suit this summer. But Tosca Reno's plan works for me (Thanks Traci:) ). Enjoy. Look forward to hearing from you.

Lea

Traci X - BTW, I have to say that I totally agree with you this round of the X!! I too have noticed Dreya getting a little annoyed with Mr. Horton's advances. I think I actually heard her say stop it one time. But can't get past that moaning for some reason.......

Lea

Hi and thanks for letting me in!;) I'll be checking in and very interested in jumping in on Thu. with KATIE. Thanks for the heads up! :7

Hi all,

I am happy to say that dinner at SIL/BIL will be an OK eating fest for me because I am taking roasted veggies and the salad. I can easily avoid the lamb and potatoes. I did have to go out to the gracery store last night at 7:30 to get the stuff. It's still better than being confronted with food that I don't want to eat!

Today I am doing some upper body and about 20 minutes on the stationary bike, plus magically hips, and stretch max two, not at the same time.

Traci – Yes, I’ve been known to throw junk food out as I eat it. It really does work. At Christmas, my DS’s girl friend and her sister brought over 2 cakes. As soon as they left, both of my DSs promptly put the cakes in the trash can. I’ve trained them well. Also, put the junk up high somewhere so that you have to work to get it which makes you think about it. Sometimes the good part of your brain will actually kick in before you take a bite. When I gained a lot of weight in college, I used to fast 1 day a week. I know that probably isn’t healthy, but it helped to snap me back into better/less eating. Remember, the junk food goes on the body as fat! Glad DH is OK. That is one of those things that you hope never happens to you.

Debra – What other interesting facts did you learn in PS? Sad to say, I didn’t know the tidbit about the E. Bunny. That’s probably why even with a dr I can’t answer all of the questions on the so you think you’re smarter than a 5th grader show!

Lea – I really can’t figure out why we hold on to the teeth either. My mom gave me the ones she saved of mine and I’m like what do I do with these? They look so gross when they are old. Same thing for the ones I saved from my own kids. They seem so special at the time but….. No eggs this year? I admit that I dreaded it sometimes, but now I could be a tad sorry that I didn’t make more of it when I had the chance. Oh well, it is a little different with boys.

Sandra – Great eating, I wish I was so creative. I have started adding veggies to my 1.5 yolk/4 white omelet. See I’m not as hardcore and disciplined as you all are! Next week is back to work and the usual. You all would probably cringe if I posted what I eat in one day! Eat a few eggs for me. I had a 72 oz bag of chocolate chips which I have been eating handful by handful, thank goodness it’s almost gone.

Amy – We always are glad to have and welcome any new Xers, at any stage of the game. I’m surely not one who is an expert on eating. I will say that I usually prepare two meals, one for me and one for the DSs and DH. I’d love to see you post your meals. I’m always intrigued with the creativity that some of you all have with cooking.

Jeanette – Do you have a ride today? Any special plans for eating and family today or did you all do both yesterday?

Hi to all who follow, Laurie X, Katie, Deb, Steph and Monica, Happy Easter Holiday.

BBL after I do a little cleaning and workout.

Tracy

Tracy X - Sorry, trying to catch up here while I can. Good for you on clean eating Easter. I am bringing a chicken breast to my mom's house for her to grill, so at least I can be some what healthy. Wow, how did you train your DS's to through out junk food? Great job mom!! I didn't make real eggs this year, but I did hide the plastic eggs with jellybeans in it. My DS's didn't seem to mind this year. Thank goodness. Now, what do you think about that Smarter than a 5th grader show? Seriously, DH and I tried to watch it, and really, could not stand it. Where do they get these people. And how long does it take to answewr a question? Ok, off to finish making my breakfast. Trying to make Tosca's Inca Porridge. Looks yummy. Have a great Easter and happy eating!!

Lea

Good morning ladies!

No Easter Bunny stuff here today. When we were kids, we got baskets until we were maybe 7 or 8 years old and then no more. Don't think the younger kids even got them but a few times, if any. Think Mom got tired of all of the green plastic grass all over the house.

Big birthday party over here yesterday. At one point I counted 28 heads. BBQ was great with ribs and tri-tip, pasta and green salads, homemade beans, french bread and for dessert, Mississippi Mud and my Applebees Blondie Brownies w/hot Maple Sauce. It was all good, but I'm a stickler on making nobody help with dishes (hated doing it as a girl growing up) so they are all waiting for me to do now. Won't take too long as I used heavy duty paper plates and good plastic ware.

Yep, have a group bike ride today. My plan is to keep it short and not intense as I have a Time Trial on Tuesday evening. The TT is 12 miles long (6 miles out and turn around and come back). Has 2 smallish hills along the way and takes anywhere from 39 minutes to my personal best last year of 36 minutes and 20 seconds. Of course, the first one of the year will probably not be PB type stuff. Everyone just seems to get faster each month. However, if you have a windy day, it will play havoc with your time. Anyways, it's all good natured fun.

Traci, hope you have a good time at MIL's house today. Sorry about the very processed food, but just have small portions. I haven't been eating the best myself (especially not yesterday), but will get back on the wagon this week. I gave away all of the leftover dessert so that won't be tempting me. I think it's a good thing to give away the No-Pudge. I just can't have those treats in the house as I think about them and pretty soon it's a little habit to have one of those snacks every day, and then jumbo sized portions. Nope, I pushed my cart right past the No-Pudge display yesterday. I need to cook my meats for the week too.

Sandra, the races are on a weeknight, which really is a good thing for me as it doesn't tie up your weekend day and easier to work into your training week. A lot of people do longer, hard rides on weekends and wouldn't want to take the time away from those to do a short time trial. We get maybe 12 or 13 riders tops for these little races. Mostly guys, but thinking/hoping we'll have a few more women out this season. My goal: It'd be nice to be in the 37 minute mark. By the end of the season, I hope to be in the 35's. Note to self to put my aero bars on my bike today. LOL re: your DD and the questionnaire for the EB! Very cute:).

Debra, LOL re: cleaning the kitchen, you would die if you saw mine right now, wine glasses, coffee cups, paper plates, big mess everywhere but it'll clean up fast. If I had much gumption, I'd clean up before the bike ride so DH doesn't have to look at it all morning. Guess he can go in another room so he won't see it either. Enjoy GS Chest & Tris. I need to come up with a rotation today too.

Lea, that EB sure was good at your house. I like that idea of all the healthy snacks. Smart of the ole bunny. Sorry you had to get up so early. We went to bed around 11:30 last night and I don't think I woke up but once during the night. Good sleep for me, but now my face is all puffy from all the salty ribs and stuff. Actually, I didn't pig out at all with the meal, but did enjoy a decadent Blondie Brownie and 2 glasses of wine. It was a nice day. Just can't do that every day. I don't freeze any of the meat after I cook it. I just put it in plastic bags in the fridge and take out what I need for the day/meal. Never had a problem. I eat very boring though. Enjoy the Easter egg hunt today, and your last toddies...

Got to run now, maybe stack some dishes.

Jeanette

Back now, as lots of posts while I was typing mine.

Tracy, sounds like your eating for today won't be far off at all. Nice feeling that must be. It's not the meal for me so much, it's the dessert! And I usually volunteer to bring desssert.

Welcome, Amy! Exciting to start the X! You will love it and this is the best place to go for motivation. Hope you get your order soon. I love cookies too, haven't made them in ages as it's just DH and I here, kids all grown and long gone from the house. I did the portion plan.

Lea, enjoy your porridge. Think I'll go make me up some oatmeal, however, I have enough carbs left in my system from last night's meal to fuel me a Tour De France stage.

Jeanette

Oh you guys are just too much fun! I thought I’d be solo as you all celebrated Easter all day and night! YIPPEE…. Got about 1 hour before we head to MIL’s… I sent DH out to get her an Eater Lilly- She should be a happy camper with Lilies(y’s) and boxes of No Pudge eh … I’m also taking my camera so I can get MIL to take a pic of DH and I together… I have ZERO pics of us for 2006! HORRID!!!!

Jeanette: Sounds like you and I need a bit of carb UN load this week! Hope the party was FABULOUS and perhaps a few party pics of our Tour de France gal???? That was so funny reading how you never let people help with dishes…I don’t either! DH gets so mad at me as his family is a group of 28 now…Just don’t want all that noise in my kitchen… Its kinda like quiet recovery time for me. Keeping good thoughts for Tuesdays TT! GOOOOOOOO NETTA!!!!!!!

LEA: I do my food like Jeanette … Cook it- Baggie it- It!!! Now I did make triple batches once of Tosca Parchment Paper Arugula Chicken. That froze nicely and by leaving it in the parchment paper it stayed super moist when I nuked it. Since DH doesn’t eat my kind of food (except the junk!) I go thru quite a bit of it by Thursdays. Eating 5x a day and normally a small protein with each just seems like I never have too much food in fridge for long. HOORAY for DS!!! Tell him I am a proud Xer!! Good job teaching him mom! On MIL food… I cant deal with it but what ya gonna do? DH says its rude to take “my food” over there so I stopped that a few years back – now I do the taste of this & that – ALL FULL! She probably wonders how I can be so pudgy with as little as I eat! Enjoy WINE day!!! BTW: WHY DO YOU GET TO DO Shoulders & Arms tomorrow and I have to do Chest & Back????? What did I miss????? Not fair! On the moaning- you know the saying – If ya cant beat then- join them! LOL MOAN FEST WEEK coming up!

Debra; What a funny life you have! Hope the choco poo makes it way to wherever it needs to go! Enjoy your GS day!!!!

TRACY: Sounds like you have Easter dinner under control! ^^5! Great workout you have planned! Gotta ask if you are seeing amazing upper results because of all the attention its getting past few weeks? I bet you look amazing! Funny about your fasting… That’s usually what I do to get back on track… at least a very lite eating day with lots of broth & water.

SANDRA: I see a nap in your future! Wait until girls are crashing from sugar then sneak away for an hour or so! I shall go in search of funky veggies and then plead for recipes from you! I’m munching on Edamame as we speak. Keep all those options open with your degrees! You just never know where the universe may lead you.

Happy Day to all- I’ll check back after fat fest- I mean MIL!

Traci X - Darn!!! You are right, as always. Guess I need to pull my head out of the chocolate bunnies you know what. I was so looking forward to Shoulders and arms, I forgot about chest and back. Bah Humbug!!! Thank you for straightening my butt out. Ok, so food doesn't go bad sitting in the fridge for 4-5 days being cooked??? Just wondering. I will let DS know. Thanks Traci. Have fun at MIL's.

Jeanette X - You crazy gal!! Let people help you. If they are hanging around the kitchen, incorporate. I am fortunate enough to have a mother and MIL who refuses no for an answer. I am so glad that your party went well.

Oh and those of you who have the recipe for Tosca's Inca Porridge, it is a MUST try. I think this will be my new favorite breakfast. Yummy :9!!

Lea

Lea: BUSTED!}(
I havent made the Tosca's Inca Porridge yet but will need to do so very soon! Thanks for heads up

Did I mention that I got BootCamp Cardio / Lower mix done this morning? It was a blast - all in 34 minutes! Didnt use any weights on the legs but it did help lossen up the tushie;-)
My arms are starting to feel yesterdays Kenpo with gloves as well... Man is tomorrow gonna be a toughie with all those pushups!!
Off to MIL-

Hi there ladies...Just wanted to check back before my nap. I really haven't done anything to feel this tired...but it's my last day of extra sleep before back to the grind. I am planning on getting my workout in this afternoon.

Lea...I have the Tosca book on order and it should be here any day..Looking forward to some yummy healthy recipes! Glad your bunny was very health conscience. My DD doesn't care for chocolate much, so she got some peeps and the rest was gum and toys. Have a great time at your mom's and have a glass of wine for me!

Tracy...The only other thing of note I have recently gleaned from my preschool experience is that boys are more physical in their aggression than the girls. The girls just cry when they are upset...and I caught a boy hitting another boy with a large plastic box...having on DD at home...it just made me wonder where they learn that kind of stuff?!? Have a good time at your celebration today...and have a good time with Eion licking the ice cream off your hips!

Jeanette....Maybe while you are out at riding the good fairies will come and clean you kitchen. They are kind of like the Easter bunny...and do magical things while you are gone! Have fun with your ride today...and good luck with those timed trials on Tuesday!

Traci..Looking forward to pics of you and DH...I hope your pics don't turn out like my mom's...there's at least one head chopped off and everyone is to one side of the photo...Good luck with the Velveeta too. I imagine that looks kind of like cottage cheese, too.

Okay..gone for now...I have to give DD some sugar, a sharp object and some matches to play with while I nap...Oh...those aren't for my DD...those go to Sandra's DD!

Debra
