Good Morning World!
Doubles / Phase 1 / Week 1 (still?) / Day 6 / KENPO:7
Round 2

I guess this means Jeanette is sleeping better today? Oh I do hope so!
Well what do all of your Easter Eve Days have on the calendar?

Thats all I know so far today:D

Kids want feeding & I want more coffee so shall return in a bit with all the personals!

How does one keep up with us? Laurie... Some days its just not possible to go back & re-read everything! No worries... If I have found $$ with your name on it I'll post that everyday for you until you see it!:D

Before I go for the coffee I am wondering if I should walk down the street and look for Sandras DD and Wendys dog ?????:+

Anyone else missing anything of value today?

Feeling the booty real good this morning! I just love what Legs & Back does for my lower half! Sneaky Lunges were painfully wonderful! I actually used dumbbells for the exercises Tony says it OK … Last round I never used them. EXCITED to see if they will make even a bigger difference.

Now… About Fridays tantalizing tidbits…..

Steph: I think we lost ya. If you’re reading I sure hope you are well and staying STRONG! You earned that X title so I hope you are using it!

Wendy: Hope that peace offering was yummy!

Laurie: Great job getting workout completed after work! Did you do anything exciting on your half day off?

Debra: Sorry about ttom issues. I get really lethargic too and wont be doing doubles that week. The lines at mall do sound like a button pusher for those of us that aren’t to patient! Enjoy Yoga today! I may be adding 20 minutes a few times a week…suffering with the very tight hips & hammys myself in on the left side for some reason. I did feel very limber after Hips Yoga yesterday.

Tracy: Fabulous workout yesterday! That’s pretty amazing about core strength too! No core work but still tight? Now that’s my kind of rotation. I researched Zip & Hollow as with all my Pilates DVDs I’d never heard of it. When I read it I realized that my 101 DVDs explain that as the position to maintain but I they never used the correct term. I agree about TiVo! I’ve only had mine for 2 years but just LOVE it! For me its great because I have insomnia so often so at least I can watch my favorite shows. BTW- I keep forgetting to ask.. Did you ever receive the DVDs? i sent them right after you got back from first Florida trip (the drop off!)... Hope you are having safe travels this weekend too! (the pick up!)

Katie: I did buy P90 Bars & Recovery Drink. I liked the taste of all of them but honestly there is way too much sugar in them for my body. I ate up the bars & still have Recovery Formula left (1.5 boxes) – I use the recovery drink but only half the packet each day because of sugar. You can go with your favorite products that meet your needs… Cant recall the ratio everyone talks about on boards. Here’s what my AFPA book says:
“The first round of feeding should begin 15 minutes after the exercise. If client waits longer glycogen stores will not be replenished quickly enough. Carbohydrate rich foods and beverages are the right food choice for recovery. Its also a good idea to mix a little protein with the carb recovery foods. Protein like carbs stimulates production of insulin which helps herd blood glucose into the muscles to enhance glocogen replacement. Lean Meat & low fat milk are good examples. Don’t have client go overboard tho- more is not better. The client needs to maintain her protein needs for muscle growth and cellular repair & production by keeping proteins at 15% of her daily caloric intake. After exercise the most important need s are carbohydrate & fluid replenishment. Diluted soft drinks (non diet) and a banana can be a recovery meal. Most clients do well with training if they follow a daily composition close to: 60-65% carb / 20-25 fat / 15% protein. If body fat composition is not changing on these ratios slowly increase protein while decreasing carb %’s. “

Sandra: Thanks for the “not looking down” thoughts! Once again a voice of reason for me! As far as DD…. I find it so funny that you went for a run but somehow feel responsible about DD going out the door! WOMEN! Get a pan out of kitchen and thump DH in head from me!!! After your run you did more leg & back work????? OH LORDY I know I am really out of condition then!

Jeanette: Your nap outside yesterday sounds delightful! I could just picture you ! What a fabulous environment you are surrounded by. Thanks for kind words on certification! Now that a few people know I am even more excited! We could never get universal remotes to work either… It could have something to do with the age of our stuff. The big screen is probably 8 yrs old – the tuner for sound is about 15 yrs old etc…

Happy Day to Lea & Debfer too!!!!

That’s it for Friday late posts….

Hi all,

For anyone who is interested, here is the link to the zip and hollow and it has a link to the fine tune zip and hollow. Before I applied this technique, I really don't think that I was properly engaging the lower abs. I think that I was using more hip and something else. Who knows? Anyway, now I can actively engage them without moving any other body parts. The comparison of zipping up pants really worked for me.

Sandra - Is someone watching the kids today?

BBL with other personals,

Happy Saturday,

Tracy

Good morning! How are you going to Bring It today?

The Toothfairy visted our house last night, and the Easter Bunny is hopping by tonight. It's a magical, enchanted place these days! Makes me scared to get up in the middle of the night for a wee, as you never know who or what I'll bump into!

Katie - I'm not sure if you read the weekend posts, but if you do, then I hope you are getting your brain wrapped around everything. The eating plan is a big issue. Just do your best. So you start on Thursday, hey? It's a date! I never bought the P90X supplements, but just subbed my own: Power Bar Harvest Bars and Boost drinks. For the recovery drinks, the ratio is 4:1 carbs:protein. Yup, the snap & binge is a terrible thing, but is your body's way of coping when it becomes too deprived. I'm glad you're sensitive to it, and know how to prevent it from happening.

TraciX - Huh? You did YOGA, ARX, LEGS & BACK *THEN* did 65 minutes of a modified VIPER.....and you think you're not conditioned?!?! Hit yourself in the head for me, please. I'm still busy dinging DH with the frying pan. You've become dillusional! I need a high-intensity-cardio to do for this Tuesday. The Viper, cardio only, might be what I'm looking for. Or the Gauntlet cardio, followed by HSTA cardio only. Hmmmm. So many choices once you start getting creative. There's a thread on the Video forums that asks about favourite premixes/mish moshes, and the ideas have my head spinning and my muscles salivating. It's sad how excited I get. Yesterday's incident with the lawn mower sounds awful. I agree that someone was watching over DH yesterday. Are you feeling better about it today? I think of some of the near misses my family and I have had in the past and they make me shiver. Our entire lives can change in a speck of a second. Makes me want to ask "Is anyone steering this thing??" Thanks a million for finding that Behind the Scenes link! How was your walk?? What or who did you find? LMAO! I checked out the link you posted the other day, to the Tom Venuto article. Did you know that the guy he interviewed also shares one of my alma maters? My undergraduate degree is from the University of Western Ontario. Just an interesting tidbit I thought I'd share. First Tosca, now Dr. John. Is the universe trying to tell me something?

DebraX - What do you mean, "hopefully the neighbours haven't called social services yet"? Don't you think they SHOULD be called? Good heavens, we're terrible parents! Why doesn't anyone see that? If it takes a village to raise a child, the neighbours are being very negligent! DD and DH had no choice but to tell me. When I came in the door everyone was sitting around with such guilty looks on their faces that I immediately knew something was up! Nobody wanted to make a confession, though. It got dragged out of them almost one word at a time. Thanks for the recipe! I printed it off. I'm going to tuck it away for another occasion because I guess what I was looking for was a "crumble" - the one with the rolled oats in the topping. I found an apple crumble pie recipe on the Allrecipes.com website that seems to be what I'm looking for. Great website, btw. Eionn for you today, huh? I'm getting very jealous of you all. Must...find....Finn yoga!

JeanetteX - I read your post from last night and melted in envy at the description of your afternoon/evening. I want to be like you when I grow up!!!! I'm also really happy to hear how much you're enjoying your new job. It sounds like things are trucking along really well for you these days. Yay! If you rarely cook, what do you eat for dinner every night? I don't understand how someone can rarely cook, unless they eat take-out every night? Plugged oil glands; thank heavens you figured it out and it only took a simple procedure to fix it. Stys look so nasty. I'm not sure how much you'll like Baptiste's Levels 1 and 2 of Power Yoga. Level 1 is really, really basic. I haven't even opened my Level 2. Level 3 is on the advanced side of things, but still not as intense as YogaX. And not as beautifully produced as Yoga Shakti. I hope you get some use out of them. Right now DD#2 is sleeping in her crib, thank heavens! It's the only time she's safe. Ask me again in about an hour, and I'll see if I can figure out the answer! I laughed about your description of how your parents gradually loosened up over the years of parenting. That seems rather typical. Aren't we supposed to grow from being bad parents to good ones, NOT the other way around?

TracyX - All right, I know it's bad now when the only personal Tracy writes is to ask me where my children are! LOL! Thanks for the link to the zip and hollow technique. I remember reading about that yeaaars ago. I have a weak pelvic floor, if my requirement for bladder pads is anything to go by. I should be more regular with my kegels and practice this zip thing. What are you up to today?

Well, I need to go grocery shopping today, since I didn't get around to it yesterday. My lower body isn't feel as bad today as I expected. After the shopping I will do either KenpoX, or StrikeZone. I'm leaning towards KenpoX because the cardio is longer, and I don't think my butt needs to do the drill work in Strikezone. But I *will* give SZ a try some time soon! I do want to do it, gosh dang it.

My meals for yesterday:

Breakfast:
steel cut oatmeal, banana
turkey breast deli meat

Snack:
Boost, drank in between the run and the lower body workout

Lunch:
tuna mixed with ff mayo & lemon juice wrapped in a ww tortilla with lettuce
apple

Snack:
PowerBar double-dipped chocolate Harvest Bar
soymilk, 1 cup

Supper:
baby carrots while cooking dinner
Speedy Shepherd's pie (Weight Watcher's recipe),
acorn squash,
my usual salad with the avocado/bal.vinegar dressing

This took me to 1770 calories, so no bedtime snack for me. When I got noshy around 8pm I had a cup of peppermint tea.

A tip: keep a pack of Listerine breath strips with you at all times. When a non-hunger induced craving hits, or at the end of a meal, have a breath strip. It kills cravings very well! I find it's a nice way to signal my brain that it's time to stop eating.

Have a great day,
SandraX

Good Morning,

I can barely open my eyes. After we finished Plyo at 8 PM, I wanted to rearrange the living room. I decided that Phil should take the upright piano, circa 1900, apart for more space. We were up till 5 in the morning. Man, that thing is huge, heavy and still not finished! The soundboard wires are keeping us from finishing. They sure don't make things like they used to!

Must send Phil for ddcoffee.

You all are soooo funny! This check-in ROCKS! I can safely say that this is THE BEST check-in. I know! I lurked around the other day to make sure! LOL

Traci-X: LOL What Chocolate Stampede cake? I'm sure you're reading things. Excuse me while I go wipe some crumbs off my face...

Tracy: How are you feeling today? Glad the MRI wasn't too bad. What are the implications if it is a herniated disk?

BBL if I can to chat some more. On my agenda for today:
1. Shop for easter basket goodies.
2. Bake apple pies. Cheesecake is DONE! Stop looking at me like that!
3. Watch Phil disassemble the piano remains.
4. Rearrange living room.
5. Be paitent, kind and loving all on a few hours of sleep.

I am probably missing some important to-dos. Better write it down.
Wendy

Good morning ladies,

I have a full day today too, but just sipping my coffee right now and reading. DH still in bed but I'm sure he'll get up once my workout in the living room is over. Think I will do Turbo Jam Cardio Party (45 min) and then Ab Jam afterwards. Saturday seems to be kickboxing day thanks to Tony.

Traci, I soooo remember how my legs/butt felt EVERY weekend during the X. Sneaky lunges, I'm pretty sure, have something to do with that. Amazing. Way to go for using weights like the guy in Legs & Back. Can't remember his name right now.

Tracy, thanks for the link to the zip and hollow. Every time I do Turbo Jam workouts or abs, I always feel tighter in the ab area, I guess from the tuck she has you hold while doing the exercises? Maybe something like the zip and hollow thing. Hope you are feeling better this morning.

Sandra, DH and I really, really enjoy our time getting out to the woods or desert during the week. We try to go at least once a week, sometimes twice. It's so handy and we both are like really kicked back in regard to HAVING to have all the yard maintenance and stuff done (and it shows). DH does need a kick in the pants sometimes to get stuff done maintenance wise around the place, but then again, so do I. I know, we need to hire Lea to do it. I'd like that a lot. Right now I have a toilet handle that you have to press harder on to get it to flush right. Sounds right up her alley. Cooking. Usually, I make a bunch of chicken breasts or turkey bacon or turkey paddies up ahead of time and eat them during the week. I'm not creative at all like you guys. And I can eat like this for months. DH is easy and usually makes himself some kind of salad at night with lots of goodies on it. Our lifestyle is definitely not like my parents, but we both enjoy it. I'm looking forward to the Baron showing up, funny shorts or not. It'll be nice to have something different. Sounds like you are a Saturday kickboxer too. That Tony!

Wendy, I can't believe you guys stayed up all night taking apart a piano? You have amazing energy!!! Your DH is a peach too. You are one very fortunate woman! Love reading your posts too! Hey, is Phil back with the coffee?

Got to go get my workout in as I have shopping and cleaning to do before folks come over this afternoon. Will probably sneak peaks at this computer as I can't help myself.

Jeanette

Wow, everyone must be busy with their workouts or dying Easter eggs or fondling bunnies.

Just got finished with Turbo Jam Cardio Party 1 and Ab Jam. Always feel good after this workout. I think I need to check out some of the other Turbo Jams. I think she says it like she feels it (Chalene). Fun workout.

Got lots to do. DH is still not out of bed so guess I'd better go get him up. Lots to do,

Jeanette

Morning Xers,

Today will be KenpoX for me. Has been a very lazy morning, I just ate some breakfast, and now I'm going to run an errand. After the errand I will get Kenpo in. Then I have to make some Orange Fluff to take to my SIL's house tonight. The fun just never ends.

I had every intention of chatting last night, but as soon as I left the computer the girls where on it. x( And then I had to go to church.

See you all in a bit.

Laurie

Happy Easter Eve to all! I'm not a big one for the religious holidays...but when there are chocolate bunnies and colored eggs involved, it must be good. I have 2 dozen eggs waiting to be colored and I have already spilled purple dye on my fingers...I look like I'm bruised. I have Eion on the books for today...and I have been thinking about a rotation that adds in another day of yoga...which actually makes it 8 days...so I think I will do that and just take days off when I need to. So my rotation would be

Circuit type workout
Cardio
Upper body split
Yoga
Upper body split
Cardio
Legs
Yoga

I know I could do a short yoga on my rest days...but typically I don't like to do any workout on my rest days....usually because I don't have time. I did GS BSB yesterday...and I wish I had had time to add something else on. I was tired, but not fatigued, if you know what I mean. I would have liked to have added on MM back, sh, and bis too. I will make a note in my workout journal so that I make sure and leave myself time for this next time.

Okay...On to personals!

Jeanette...Sounds like you had a great evening in the woods yesterday! I also go a kick out of thinking of your pooch throwing himself at the door to get in...Maybe he could teach Sandra's DD to do that! Hope you have fun with your workout today and have a great time with your parents tonight. Happy Birthday to Dad!

Wendy...Sounds like you have a lot on your plate today..all with minimal sleep! Enjoy that cheesecake and apple pies...You will never be looked at funny by me while you enjoy your food!

Sandra...Maybe I will just call social services on your neighbors! Hope you have fun with kickboxing today. I have a new one coming this week from Flickety Fit...but now I don't remember what it is. Glad you found a crumble recipe that worked for you. Definitely try the berry one once berries are in season this summer, though. It's very tasty! I will check out the allrecipes.com site...I love new recipes...although, I don't cook as much as I used to since DH is in Russia.

Tracy...Thanks for the link..I will check it out. Hope you are feeling okay today!

Traci...Glad your booty is feeling it today...How is Dreya, by the way? Were you moaning with her? Have fun with Kenpo today. Glad to know your DH was safe after his accident. So scary when something like that happens! Thank goodness no one was hurt. How much longer until you take the test for your certification? I'm sure you said yesterday, but I am too lazy to go back and check.

Hi to Laurie, Steph, Monica, Katie, Deb, Lea (where are you?)and Teddygirl (healing vibes). Okay...I'm hopping off to tidy up a bit before we begin dying eggs. Is it dying or dyeing? I'm not planning on killing them...just coloring them.

Hi everyone-

Classic/Phase 1/Week 1/Day7--Kenpo

So far this first week of P90X-I'm enjoying it-I've done almost everything (except kenpo which I'll do soon)-the only thing is I never finished the yoga workout the other day-I got thru 1/2 of it and then had to do family things, so I plan on doing the whole workout on my rest day tomorrow (Easter Sunday)-

my eating has been a failure this week despite my half-hearted intentions-I plan on doing better next week-I'm so happy I did ab ripper 3x this week but I think I have to do it at the beginning of my workouts cuz my body is soo fried after lifting-it's hard to do abs after that-

talk to you all later--deb

Waiting 1 more hour to do Kenpo (Masters Tournament will be on then) … Booty DOMS intensifying as day goes on… Does that mean my butt is getting smaller today?

LEA:  WHERE  ARE  YOU:eek: ????????????????????

:) TRACY: Thanks for the link! It sure helps me to have visuals as well as written cues! Glad you got your DVDs! I never quite trust those strip center postal services to get things sent! At least when you are feeling better you’ll have some new stuff to play with. Are you back from Florida already?

Sandra: :) Crackin’ me up again! Don’t step on Easter bunny poo when you go wee! Why did I read your post to Katie? You just HAD to bring up that eating was a big part of X didn’t ya?? Well you can just take my hostess cupcakes & no pudge brownies & put those in your ears! I am OUT OF CONTROL this week…no good reason either… I am trying to figure out how to re-group. Lunch today was a cup of your Pumpkin/Cali Soup with a side of 2 Hostess Cupcakes with a side of 3 no pudge brownies and yet ANOTHER cup of coffee. DISGUSTING. HELP ME SANDRA!!!! LOL on Viper!!! Sandra ya gotta take the Terminators and do mix n match- I’d never done that before… You can break up the cardio segments that way and its more like an interval ! FUN FUN FUN! I didn’t use a riser so I was blasted but still got a great leg burn going. Hmmmmmm- I think you are suppose to use this advanced degree in Personal Training or Sports Fitness/Nutrition. Go with the flow! Oh yes…. I will go put my beathe mints strips in the pantry & fridge! I’ll try ANYTHING at this point!

:) Wendy: What a night you had! I TOTALLY agree that Xer Check In rocks! I use to read Cheetas & HC but I don’t even go there anymore. We have so much knowledge and personality and ideas here WHY STRAY???? Hope that To Do list gets done before you drop into a coma from no sleep and ddCoffee!

Jeanette: :) Sounds like you are thoroughly enjoying a leisurely morning! TJ are fun. I only use Fat Blaster these days but they do create an ab burn. I do really like Chalene- actually I like her better than the workouts but she is just so danged into what she does- I can feel it too! I looked for Mr VooDoo so hard yesterday… doggone it I cant find him. Did you ever spot him?

:) Laurie: Hope that Orange Fluff is yummy!!!! Is it made with Cool Whip? That makes EVERYTHING fluffy! Last night I took DH a No Pudge brownie and he said- Oh are we out of Cool Whip? Heheheeh

Debfer: :) So glad you are enjoying your X so far! As far as eating goes… You and I need to go to a meeting or something! I swear I’m eating everything that’s on the DO NOT EAT list – that’s all I seem to want this week. On ARX…I think most of us ended up doing it as workout #1 because we were fried too! Do whatever ya gotta to get it done!

:) Debra: LOL on the dyeing vs dying!!! FUNNY! When you daid the dye made you looked bruised my first thought was “Well that kinda matches the falls a few months ago!” Good Good Good Rotation! I added a Pilates 7 Yoga to my doubles for two days next week. We shall see if all the extra serenity helps me from sugar needs! Funny you asked about Dreya… She is actually bothering me a lot less this round! For some reason I think she’d prefer Tony NOT be so goo goo ga ga…. I think I caught a glimpse of annoyance yesterday? I’ve got until May 31st to submit my exams but my goal is to get it in first week of may. HAPPY EASTER!!!!!!

OK gang- Going to go see what else I can eat before Kenpo!

Hello there...I am back...after dyeing (dying) eggs...And it smells like someone has died in my house! The lovely aroma of vinegar and eggs! Blech! I have some candles lit trying to air the place out a bit so that I can be serene and not nauseous when I start my yoga!

Traci...I, too, was thinking...I just got my hand healed and now it looks worse than ever! I know all that extra water is probably not helping those booty DOMS! I can hear the cellulite melting off from here...what am I saying, you can't have any cellulite...you eat no pudge, right?!? Glad Dreya is now becoming your BFF.

Deb...What helps me with my eating (or at least my snacking) is keeping a diary...you may be doing this already, but if not, it certainly helps me. Do your best and forget the rest! Glad you are enjoying the program so far.

Laurie...Have fun with Kenpo...and with the Orange Fluff...I am sure there is some suggestive comment I could make, but the overpowering smell of vinegar and eggs has eaten away my brain cells.

Okay...Off for now to drink some water and contemplate nectar on my hips.

Debra

DEBRA X: Its not nice to fib to new Xers : """Deb...What helps me with my eating (or at least my snacking) is keeping a diary...you may be doing this already, but if not, it certainly helps me.""""

Keeping a diary only serves to show you EXACTLY how out of control you are with No Pudge Brownies & hostess Cupcakes! x( x( x(
It Does NOTHING to keep your butt from getting big!

Hi all,

Just checking in to see what everyone is doing. I ended up not going to Fl. I was just not feeling well and a 12 hour car ride would have been shear torture. My mom was disappointed, but I just couldn't do it. I did LIC step only today with some mods to the blasts. I still feel ok, so that is a good sign. We are going to BIL and SILs tomorrow, and I still don't know what I am supposed to bring.

Traci- Sorry about the eating; two cupcakes and a side of no pudge? Have you ever tried just throwing out the stuff as you are eating? Sometimes that shocks me back into control. Sometimes for me I feel like it is intentional self sabotage. Let me know how that new DVD is. I was eying it the other day. I need to order something from Amazon, maybe I'll wait until I get your review.

Debra - Cherish the days of egg dying. It will be over all too soon. I like the look of your workout week. I've done 8 day weeks too and just taken rests as needed. It works. I'll definitely be doing more yoga.

Deb - Sorry about the eating. Do your best and forget the rest. Have you tried gum? What about keeping merienge cookies around? I know they are sugery, but at least they are fat free and have some protien.

Wendy - I hope you survive with so little sleep. This is really like the energizer bunny check in. Maybe I'm in the wrong spot because I surely don't have the energy some of you all do.

Sandra - Any funny antics today? No creams rubbed in the wrong place or lost DD or even DH? Yep, you are at the mercy of the professors. I had my entire draft finished on July 10 and no one picked it up until a month before the defense (Nov 21), then it was like, edit this, change that. Well I can't complain too much. Only my chair made me make any changes, but still. Once it sets that long it is hard to pick back up, but my do the errors jump out at you!

Jeanette - Happy birthday to your DF and I hope you have an enjoyable day. I do have some pictures of the buggy and I'll try to figure out how to send them. If your son is interested in them, he probably would like to look. My DS has fabricated the entire thing from scratch.

Happy holiday,

Tracy

Hi! Back again! Sneaking in some time while DH takes the kids for a walk outside. I desperately needed a break from them tonight, so sent them out. So what if it's still windy and cold? Fresh air is good, right?

Wendy - You and DH are perfectly suited for one another! I know few men who would agree to begin disassembling a piano at 8pm! And stick with it until 5am! What time did you fall into your coma today? By noon? I don't know about the "best" check in, but it's sure the chattiest! We're up there every day in the post count. Gee, I wonder who's fault that is? ;)

JeanetteX - Yup, Saturday kickboxing is all Tony's fault. Actually I find it a great thing for the 6th day, as my legs are worn out from all the jumping and weight work earlier in the week. I would love Lea to come and be my HandyWoman. Except I'd probably lose my DH to her. He'd fall madly in love with a woman who likes to play with tools. Poor guy got stuck with Wordy-Woman. His complete opposite. Eat the same thing every day for supper? I couldn't do that to the kids. Maybe when DH and I have an empty nest that's what we'll end up doing. How did your day go?

LaurieX - Orange Fluff? I probably don't really want to know, but please tell me anyway. Did you squeeze Kenpo into your busy day, as planned?

Deb - Only half of YogaX yesterday? That's still a great workout! I honestly wouldn't do the entire thing on Sunday. Do XStretch, as suggested on the rotation. Seriously, the second half of YogaX and XStretch are extremely similar - you don't need to go through all those vinyasa's again. You need your strength for Chest & Back on Monday! How did you like Kenpo today? I hope you get a better handle on the eating this week. It can be frustrating to feel like you're working against yourself.

DebraX - I keep forgetting to mention that all your bunny talk is cracking me up these days. So, the Easter Bunny has made it to the malls, huh? I don't think he's reached Edmonton yet (thank heavens!!). GS + MM per body part, huh? That sounds tough! But then, you're an X grad! I really like the looks of your 8-day plan. That's eXcellent!

TraciX - I think it's time we sent out a search party for LeaX, and a rescue squad for you!!!      You need to take those no-pudge brownies and either lock them away somewhere, or throw them out. I'm guessing you have not eaten enough recovery food after your last couple days' gruelling workouts, so when you let yourself have a bit of a treat, your brain went into overdrive and sent you on a binge. A modest bit of treat can quickly spin out of control if the body is feeling energy-depleted. Go brush your teeth, have a Listerine strip, and drink a ton of water. Btw, I also hit an energy slump this afternoon and became very tired. Started to crave high-carb/fat foods something awful. I did my best to doze on the couch, then when I got up I had some Kashi cereal and 1 litre of water. That significantly helped quash the cravings. I'm pretty sure I was dehydrated. That can really bring out the sugar cravings, can't it?

TracyX - Still not sure what you're bringing to a dinner the next day? Hm. I guess it'll be the can of chicken noodle soup stashed in the back of the cupboard, huh? I don't blame you for wanting to skip a 12 hour car ride with such a sore back/butt. The children do not appear at all amusing to me today. They've really gotten on my nerves today. I think it's because they seem to always be home these days. First March break, and now Easter break. When does Mom get a break? I imagine your experience with the committee reading the thesis is fairly typical. I doubt mine will be any different. I really dislike academia. Maybe I'll do what TracyX suggests and go into personal training.

LeaX - Where are you??? I hope all is well. Did BeachBody catch a whif of our shirts, and have you arrested for copyright infringement?

KenpoX was just what I needed today. It goes by so quickly, gets the cardio level up nicely, but not extreme, and is easy on the legs/joints. Very good.

I hope the Easter Bunny is good to those who want him to be.
Cheers,

Hi gang. I finally made it out of my cuffs. The police arrested me but could not contain me because the X has made me so strong. BB can't get me now. I am going to order those shirts darn it;-) !!

But seriously, I haven't been around because I was out all day with Traci chasing down Sandra's DD. Boy she just goes and goes. And she was a slippery sucker too with all of that cream all over her!!

I have to say that you all are cracking me up. Unfortunately, I have to be brief here. Sandra's DD is getting into the litter box now. UGH!!!!

Traci X - Wow!!! Sneaky lunges with weights. Now I have to do that too. Competition is key around here}( . You sure waited a long time to do Kenpo today didn't you? Procrastination is making me wait....I am glad that DH is all right from yesterday. Boy, what a scare.

Tracy X - Thank you for the link. I will definately check that out when I have a moment. I am so sorry that you are not feeling your best. And I can't imagine what kind of pain you would have been in with a 12 hour ride. Feel better.

Sandra X - Is this your first tooth fairy visit? It's exciting isn't it? And why oh why do we hold on to those darn things? Your eating is still fantastic. Keep it up. I will visit Whole Foods next week (danger danger) and check out the tofu desserts. Have a great Easter.

Wendy - Ahhh..you are probably asleep by now. I thank you for the coffee offer, but isn't it best when they make it there with all of the cream and sugar:9. I sure hope that you got your piano disassembled now. BTE, I so agree that EVERYBODY here is awesome. They are the best;(. Thanks gals.

Ok, I HAVE to turn off Peter Cottontail, the music is bugging x(.
Ahhh....better.

Jeanette X - Ahhh..your day sounded great with DH yesterday. You guys always have fun!! I hope you had fun with DF today. Happy Birthday!!

Laurie X - Those girls. Blah, blah, blah. Kind of like us huh? Don't worry about it. We still love ya!!

Debfer - Hey there. I still need to email you, sorry lagging. Don't worry about the eating being a failure. My drinking has been a failure this week x(. Ahhh..there is always next week.

Debra X - You are so right!! Those boys are hard to train. My 3 yr.old is sooooo stubborn, he will were his icky diaper all day. Bleh!! I'm with you on the religion front. BTW, WTH is the Easter Bunny for anyway? Have fun with those eggs. Didn't do that this year. I know, bad mom.

Katie - YAY!!! I am so happy that you finally got the X. Feel better though.

OK, gotta go. Everyone have a spectacular night, and hope the Easter Bunny is good to you bad girls!!

Hi there ladies..I have finished with the Easter Bunny...not in the biblical sense of course! Finally got the smell of eggs and vinegar out of the house...:) Also..cute story about DD...We have lots of bunnies in the neighborhood (hence the accompanying poop) and one hopped by earlier this evening...DD saw it and commented on it and I said it must be the E. bunny and she said really? He shouldn't be out until all the kids are in bed...so I said, well, he is going to the houses where everyone is already in bed which just opened up another can of worms! I answered questions for about 15 minutes...LOL! I enjoyed Eion, of course, and thought about someone licking ice cream off my hips...WooHoo! But for real, I had a good workout, but I know I can only improve with my flexibility by adding another session of yoga per week.

Lea..So glad we didn't have to bail you out..I figured you were caught fondling the Easter bunnies ears and had gotten taken down to the prison where Jeanette works and had no broadband or worse..dial up! The actual legend of the E. bunny goes as this...apparently there was a tradition in some European country that you have eggs for Easter (new life and all...of course then you eat that life, not so appetizing, hunh) and some kids went to go get the eggs from the barn and there as a bunny on top of the eggs in the basket when they got there...and voila the E. bunny was born. Can you tell that I have spent way too much time in preschool classes lately? Please make sure sure you keep a better eye on Sandra's DD in the future!

Sandra...Glad you enjoyed Kenpo...always a favorite. I am just hoping that DH strapped a leash onto DD for that walk!

Tracy..Sorry you weren't able to make the drive with your mom. Glad you enjoyed LIC today...I like that one a lot too. Have fun with the family tomorrow!

Traci...I am sure those treats will just turn into muscle for you! You are so dedicated...those calories wouldn't have the nerve to go to the wrong places! If it makes you feel any better I was a big fat pig at lunch yesterday...I had not one, but two chili dogs. Isn't chili a condiment?!? The diary really does help curb my between meal snacks. I won't have a tootsie pop (my guilty pleasure) if I know that I have to write it down. You'll be fine...maybe just don't make another batch of those no pudge for a while!

Okay..gotta run as I feeling pretty tired with all of that sitting on my buttocks I did today. Nighty-night, sweet dreams (I just typed wet instead of sweet!) and happy hopping in the morning!

Debra
