Happy Happy Saturday- We all made it to the weekend!!

Last night was my free meal for the week and I guess eating badly causes me to only need 5 hours of sleep! Wide awake today at 2:15am!I did Chilis so I could have the nutritional info online to look up...1405 calories, 77 grams fat, 84g carbs, 13g fiber, 42g protein- What A Free meal that was!! It was PERFECT!!! I know that sounds awful but eating whatever I want 1 meal a week keeps me 100% clean all the rest of the time without feeling deprived. Its a system that mentally works wonders for me. I did laugh twice tho and told DH between bites that I could hear & see Tony saying something about go grab a burger... I think its in both Master Series & X! That little devil}(

I have Amy Bentos All Pump Extreme on tap this morning and also want to get out for a little jog with Coach Sean.... I missed him this winter! The All Pump is 90 minutes so I'll need to get all over it as soon as DH wakes up. BBQ isnt til 3 so I have plenty of time...DH has to take one of the "kids" to vet at 8am so I'll be free for awhile.

Looks like the only person who snuck in behind me last night was MONICA!:7 Hi there stranger!!!! So good to see you... I just figured you got tired of all the non X talk as we have become such a chatty group some days. I dont think its rude at all! Your challenge post X sounds very familar... I really think thats propbably the norm for most people...kinda flounder a bit. Your new plan looks doable and seems to cover all your needs so go for it! Did you see that Sandra made a generic rotation as well? Seems thats a good way to do it! Whatever works is what I say. Yes I'll be starting Round 2 of X (doubles modified a bit) April 1st... Lea is suppose to start with me but she is my injured buddy right now..Upper & Lower ouchies - we gotta get her nursed back to health quickly or I'll be solo and I dont do well that way!;-) Hope we continue to see you!

- Traci LOVES Strike Zone Kickbox & spent more $$ and ordered Barrys Bootcamp & is really really mad at Laurie for talking about it so much!:D :D

- Laurie is telling LIES about no St Patrick (unless you're Catholic of course!):D

- Lea has a green beer problem! (recall the "detox" center?):D

- Jeanette is so fit that her HR doesnt soar thru the roof on those mega rides anymore:D

- Tracy is having conversations with "little jeanette who sits on her shoulder" in Costco about dried cranberries:D

- Sandra has truly gone off the deep end since leaving Tony- She now finds blast mania premixes to be easy & fun:D

- Steph is completing her recovery week and is actually DOING it!!:D

- Debra is missing all the fun by being on vacation! :D

- Monica missed us (only took her 2 weeks!) so is back with a post X plan of action!:D

Thats it in a nutshell gang!! Happy Saturday... gotta go make the dogs hyper so they wake DH up so I can workout!}(

I did a little step yesterday and more abs. The back is still sore and I'm a little tired of it. I will definitely be changing my rotation for a while. I may try the great in 8 or what ever that was. I'll be working on the new rotation this weekend. It may be more cardio for me for a while and mostly body weight exercises.

Traci - What in the world did you eat that had 77 grams of fat? I hope it was good. I too have to have some treats, otherwise I just couldn't do it. I'm interested to see how you like the Amy Bento dvd. Have you done that before and I missed the review? And you ordered Barry's Bootcamp? You go girl. You will be doing an ironman by the end of the summer. I wish that I had a couple of hundred dollars to spend on dvds, I'm developing quite a wish list.

Monica - Glad you checked in. Just stop by when you can. We're not always talking fitness. Your rotation looks good. If it works for you it is really good and that is all that matters.

Lea - I hope that the whites of your eyes are not green from all of the green beer.....

Good morning. Ha Traci/y's, you guys are funny. I really don't think that I am going to have green beer today, as I celebrated last night at our dinner(a little too much I might add). Time to start that detox.

I did DrillMax yesterday. I had to modify a few moves, but I did it, YAY. Traci, here I come. Today I am thinking of a core workout. Yummy.

Traci X - Good for you for splurging. You rarely can find anything under 50 grams of fat eating out. It is sad isn't it? Have fun doing Amy. I forget, have you done this one before?

Tracy X - Sorry that the back is not better. Take it easy. I'm there with you on having a huge wishlist. I am starting to sound like my kids. I want, I want, I want.......

I love All Pump Extreme! its my favorite Amy workout...I can take or leave her kick & hilo- good but way too cardio intensive for me these days. She uses tons of equipment in APX and does moves I've never seen done before that leave me sore- She is a push up freak-a-zoid too! Almost all her ab work is also push-up/planks.

BUMMER on the back still creating issues... Do you think a doc of any sort could help at this point? Gosh I know you probably wont be happy doing mainly cardios at this point. You deserve the award of the year for increasing strength post X. My 77g of fat was the accumulative total... Artichoke dip & chips, a burger w/ bleu cheese, french fries w/ ranch as a dipping side. MY FAVORITE cardiac 911 meal! Enjoy that coffee this morning.

I think I might put $$ on the no green beer today thing! You KNOW its tradition and ya cant fight tradition!!! Drill Max? Are you feeling that much better??? Did your knee freak at all??? Are you telling me that you'll be ready for X part 2????? OMG!!! Happy dancing!!!

Good Morning Xer gals! Last night I did Core Synergistics for the last time!!! (Well, until I start another rotation, that is) I just kept chanting to myself through the sphinx push ups, Dreya rolls (I really stink at those for some reason) and towel hopping, “This is the last time, this is the last time, this is the last time.” Tonight it’s KenpoX for the last time. I’m not doing a whole lot today, except cleaning house - you guys know that’s my weekend ritual.

TraciX - Have fun with All Pump Extreme today. I looked into that one, too, but I would have to buy yet more equipment, and I don’t think I really need to do that right now. DH bought me these adjustable weights that you just turn a dial and increase the weights, and they cost like $400, but last night one of them broke and I can’t get the weights to click on. I’m furious, because now I’ll have to take them back and go through the hassle of getting new ones. And we live a 2 hour drive from where we bought them! Who knows when I’ll be able to get there? The dinner last night sounds delicious, and I think you have a good plan about eating clean all the time and not depriving yourself on one dinner. I agree with Lea, though, it is soooo hard to eat out and not get stuff that is high in fat.

TracyX - Good luck with the new rotation. Is the Great in 8 a Beachbody thing? I don’t know if I’ve seen that one. Is it your lower back giving you trouble? I had such trouble with mine earlier in the P90X rotation, but it gradually got better, I just had to take it easy during lunges and the twisting movements on Kenpo.

LeaX - Way to go on Drill Max! I really, really like that one. It’s probably one I’m going to do first after this crazy thing is over. I only did it a couple of times before starting the X, but you get such a great workout with it, don’t you? Hey, St. Patrick’s Day always brings memories of college for me, and drinking the green beer. However, don’t be shocked when you go to the bathroom the next morning! (LOL) OK, OK, I know - TMI!

SandraX - I’m also looking for more Yoga. What’s Yoga Zone like? I want something Tony-ish, if that’s possible, which I don’t know if it is. You guys are making me miss Cathe again! BootCamp was also another of my favorites - (except for the Terminator Thrust Climbers - ugh!) That was one of my first Cathe’s I owned.

OK, I was just on the Open Discussion and a lot of people are talking about Barry's Bootcamp. Laurie, I think you have this? Traci - I KNOW you ordered this. Can anyone tell me what it's like? Do I need any more equipment? I don't have a treadmill, but it looks like this can be modified? Is there a rotation guide, or do you just make it up as you go along? I'm kind of on the fence about it, because it looks kind of "Hollywood Glamour" and not the casual, regular person type workouts that Tony and Cathe do.

I really slept in this morning, but it feels good. I'm going to do a Christie Taylor hi-lo or step, something fun and steady state, then abs afterwards that I never got to last night. DH and I watched Hunt for Red October last night so I never got back on the computer. Of course, we've seen it before but it's such a good one.

Hi,

I'm back, finally! It is almost noon here and I'm still in my workout clothes, not showered yet and just finished my oatmeal (without craisins). Had a good, fun workout this morning. I did about 50 minutes of a couple of Christie Taylor's hi-lo for the fun factor. Love the music and her DVD's make me have to think and listen to her. I then followed it up with a couple of different ab workouts from one of her DVD's. Feel good now. Tomorrow is our out of town group bike ride around a local lake. It's a nice ride, can sometimes be a hammerfest, but very enjoyable and beautiful, with some climbing involved. We usually stop in a little town on the edge of the lake for coffee and a snack. Hope we get a bunch of riders. I just emailed out notices again to everyone and made some phone calls to remind people. When I get done, have my sister's BBQ birthday party to go to. I'll be making a couple of dutch oven desserts for it. That's fun for me. Won't be a low calorie day, but I believe in enjoying my family's events, food also.

Traci, your Chili's meal sounded wonderful. Been so long since I've been out to eat anything like that but tomorrow's BBQ will be a treat. I have no problem going healthylike on the main meal, it's the desserts that I always like to order. So it might be grilled salmon with cheesecake. Kind of like diet coke and a candy bar. Have you gotten out with Coach Sean today? I love his workouts and his voice, oh my!!! I totally believe all the things he tells me. I like where he says "you just got better". Makes me feel like a real athlete! Strike Zone Kickbox, huh? Now I've got to look that one up. That and Amy's All Pump Xtreme. Gosh, I've sure got a bunch of them already. Surprised DH hasn't said anything yet. I just keep the doors closed under the TV, no sense leaving myself open for comments.

Tracy, did you mention the "Look Great in Eight" rotation? I need to look that one up and see what it entails. I believe that it may really mix things up. Got to do a search. I'm so sorry your back is still bothering you. Why do you want to do more cardio? Just curious. With my cycling, I sure don't feel as much pressure to do it during the week and can go easier. Love that.

Lea, sounds like you had fun last night, but then sounds like you ALWAYS have lots of fun. Love your attitude, girl! I'm so happy you were able to get thru Drill Max! That's awesome! What core workout did you do today?

Sandra, now Bootcamp is one I need to revisit. Gosh, it's been ages and ages since I've done it.

Steph, you are soooo close! LOL re: chanting to yourself. I know the feeling. I've got to do some housecleaning today too. Need to pick my bike up from the shop. Had new handlebar tape put on it. What were your results? Do you have pics?

TraciX!!! I know you're at your bbq now, but please get back here and tell me what Janis Saffel kickboxing I'm supposed to order! My dealer (oops!)...I mean, enabler (oops!)...I mean, video fitness provider, is having a sale on lots of stuff. They sell Janis, and also Amy. I notice Amy also has a core and stretch dvd. Do you have it? Is it worth buying? I like how you described her all-pump extreme, and intend to buy it, but would also like her core & stretch dvd if it's any good.

Hi all,

I was able to do an interval workout using IMAX3 step only and then some pull ups and some lighter bicep exercises. I had to go so light that I ended up doing 30 reps for some of the exercises. I'm not sure what good that will do me, but it was a mental thing. Pull ups didn't bother the back so that was good. I didn't push it though and assisted on most. this back thing still su*X&s.

Sandra X - Traci X posted the link to the dvd on amazon in yesterday's thread. It looks good. I think I' holding out and going to buy the new Xflowsion set which is supposed to go on sale in 3 weeks. I got an email today and I've been waiting for it. I'm surely not as knowledgable as Traci about Amy B, but have heard good things about Hi Lo Extreme. I think that it has almost all of All Pump extreme on it. That one is on my wish list too. Can you buy from Amazon or is the freight too much?

Hi gang. As I am sitting here drinking my detox tea, I thought I would catch up with all of gawgeous ladies. Happy St.Patty's Day BTW. I hope you are wearing green!! If not, here it comes........PINCH!!!!!!!!}(

Oh, and I was able to do the first step segment on BodyMax 2(one riser only) AND MS Core Cardio(but not the pushups). I am roasting and toasting right now. Yay!!


Traci X - I really and truly thank you for summing up yesterday's posts. It is helping me a lot. Yes, my knee is better. I have to still be careful of it like when I do turns or side kicks, but yippee. Still having a little problem with the elbow though, and I am really nursing it so I can w/o with you in April. Yippee!!! And ummm...THANKS TRACI, now I also have to get Amy Bento.

Sandra X - Why oh why must you check in and not converse with us all? Is it that you MUST buy something? Is that what is taking up all of your time. Jeeze. Just buy everything. There. Solution solved. Hopefully I get to go to the center in May. We are working out the kinks. Takes like 3-4 people to do my job in one week. Pretty funny. I hope you are having a great day.

Tracy X - I see that you just popped in (oops, typed poop and had to correct that). Oh no, I see you are getting the Sandra addiction too. Step away from the computer. Did the Imax 3 workout hurt your back at all? If not, good. You heal quickly.

Jeanette X - So when you say fun, what exactly do you mean? Are you trying to imply something;-). I am really glad that you were able to sleep in this morning. I bet that felt nice. I was just wondering though. Is there a movie that you haven't seen? Dh just received "Casino Royale" for his birthday and I can say that I can watch that movie over and over again. Have you seen the bod on Daniel Craig? YUMMY:p . Ok, enough drooling. I hope you have fun on your bike ride tomorrow (though I know the real reason you do it is for the coffee).

Laurie X - Your daughter's concert sounds really cute. I can't wait until mine start doing that sort of thing. I bet the ice cream was really really yummy(but not like Tony huh;-) )?

Well, I ordered Janis' kickboxing DVD that Traci highly recommended. Good price on that one. I also ordered Jari Love's something 1000. Have read good things about that. Think I will order an Amy on Netflix and see if I like her.

Tracy, glad you got to do your workout today, even with some modifications. Glad you didn't push it. Take care of yourself.

Lea, there are lots and lots of movies we haven't seen. We got Netflix a month or so ago so have gone wild watching them. I saw Casino Royale on the stands at Walmart today. Maybe I'll rent that one on Netflix. No, the real reason I go on the bike rides is for the snacks at the coffee stop. Actually, I've been trying to cut out those snacks and also trying to not load up on carbs before big rides. Amazing that someone can ride 100 miles and not lose a pound, maybe even gain a few more and not have thin legs. I tell you, I just don't burn that many calories while cycling, but the fun factor is there big time for me. Seriously, have you begun a detox process?

Got to go, we've got Batman Begins. Have to peek out in the living room and see if DH is even awake. Poor guy, he's been working lots of hours so I haven't said anything about him working out this week and he sure hasn't.

Jeanette - Get out!!! We just finished Batman Begins. Enjoy. And no, no detoxing tonight. I just drink the tea to kind of help along when I do drink some cerveza. My major detoxing won't happen until May. I must be crazy to look forward to that. Well off to put the first DS to bed. Have a great night.
