Okay, my laptop keyboard locked up again so I'm back to my old PC. So frustrating. Glad we didn't box this one up and put it away.
Traci, your weather sure changes a lot! We are expecting snow day after tomorrow. Looks serious, but who knows. LOL, re: Wendell and his eaten sandwich. We have such wonderful memories. The bike ride was really good today, though I can tell I'm not up to speed I used to be. I was joking to a friend after the ride. I said, here's what's the matter with my cycling and showed him the contents from my jacket pockets. One hand had a golf tee and the other hand had an empty M&M's bag in it. He had a good laugh. Bacon and Jalapenos, mmmmm. I do like jalapenos, but in medium doses. We will always be here to hold your hand, girl. We all love you so much. Know you'd be here for each of us too. You are one big hearted woman :7 .
Wendy, how was Basic Step? I'm just so warm and fuzzy that you have returned. Bet your family really, really missed you. Did Phil have everything done in the kitchen? Thought of you for Christmas, my DD made a lovely pumpkin with maple glazed CC. Can't wait to see your pictures. I sure missed you and your posts. We want details, or are you putting it on your blog? I should go check. I'm not real good in constant heat. Takes me a while to acclimate. Way to go on still being able to do pullups. I still have not tried one yet.
Sandra, I'd probably go with the Shake and Bake. I'm not much of a cook nowadays so DH would probably love it if I made anything. What did your DH think of P90X? Glad he decided that he needs more flexibility in his life. The cake your DD made sounds yummy. I love bananas, though I haven't had any in quite a while now. The Wii sounds really fun. Think the last computer game we had was Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. That was a year or two ago LOL. Yep, our company is finally all gone. Feels good too. Actually, I stayed nice throughout all of it. Sometimes I can get a wee bit grouchy.
Tracy, thank you for your offer to help me with a leg rotation. How could I incorporate more leg work in now with P90X and still keep my workouts to one hour? Now would probably be the best time to work my legs beings my more consistent riding will be in a few months. If you have any ideas for something I could add in now, I'm open. I've been doing the lean rotation and it was starting to work for my abs and arms, but then again, I was eating better too. Sorry about the windy ride. Windy and cold can be miserable, plus it really affects the breathing in a not so good way. Lots of mucous gets produced too. I wear toe covers on my toes, plus Pearl Izumi booties. My feet stayed warm today and it was in the 30's. I also will powder my feet before riding to keep them dryer. Feet, hands and face are what get the coldest. Pearl Izumi Lobster gloves work great for my hands on the coldest days. I don't know anything about the compact cassette. Do you have a double or triple chainring in the front? I have a triple and glad I have it with all the hills around here. I'm sure your DS will acclimate to the road bike real soon. Was he pretty happy with the bike? Does he have the shifting down yet?
Swifty, hi to you! Glad you could pop in. Bet you've been busy with studying and all. Hope your holidays were wonderful.
Debra, life is wonderful, yes??? So happy for you!! Keeping the vibes going that XDH will not cause any problems. I had a fleeting moment when I thought about taking down the tree, but then the guy from India (Dell) called and that took up 3 hours. Love the drums! I just cannot imagine a dad leaving his DD to go work in Russia. It's beyond me.
Nicole, it'll be nice to get back on schedule for me too. Should be busy at work tomorrow. I have a hair appointment right after work too. My hair grows so darned fast any more. It's only been 5 weeks and it sure feels long (for me anyway).
Kim, glad you got your first workout C&B under your belt. I have yet to do that one as it doesn't show up for me until Phase 3 I think. That one is the Mother of all workouts I think Tony says. Maybe a little bite to eat before you start would settle your stomach. Sometimes on cardio workouts I get a little woozy myself. Doesn't happen too often, but sometimes. How was National Treasure 2? I liked the first one. Sugar withdrawal, why is it so tough?
Must go back to watching TV with DH. That darned laptop, so frustrating. Hope they get the keyboard sent soon, and hope that solves the lousy problem.
