 -- Hurrying back to answer Sandras burning late night questions!!! OY:eek: Hoping TRACY is just taking a little extra time for herself this morning & all is well.

SANDRA:::
Starting with you!!! SO VERY SORRY!!!! I slept in today....

#1: I dont think it would be good to add to Classic weights every single week (except legs) but certainly if you feel like your body is growing accustomed to the workouts then go ahead & see how you feel by adding in a full body...YOU control reps/wt etc.... I wouldnt lift super heavy/low rep but throwing in a moderate wt endurance sounds like a good shock..... YES add those pull ups in!!! I'd do @ least what Tony requires on this day but you can always do harder versions for yourself.... You have until Monday to work back again so that fine!

Back with all other stuff in a bit! ;-)

Hi all,

I'm late too. School is opening two hours late, so I went back to bed.

Today is some sort of light cardio and core. It is my recovery week.

Sandra - First, didn't you say you were happy with your upper body progress? I agree with Traci. I don't think it would be bad to add in an endurance type workout, and I thought about that instead of Kenpo because it really is just high rep endurance. But I thought I really hadn't given it my all this week and found that yesterday the chin ups and push ups went fine, but the rest of the upper still felt quite fatigued when I tried to do the total body. I think at this point with the injuries and tweeks I wouldn't do any more upper weight work and I'd put my energy into LEGS, adding in a few sets of pull/chin ups. You might try the pyramid down that I use, starting with 8-10 pull ups using just enough assistance to be at failure by the last one, rest for just long enough to do a set with one less, so 7, then continue that pattern until you get to 1 or complete failure. Adding just enough assistance to be at or close to failure at the last rep for each set. I'd only do it with either pull or chins, not both.

Hi to those I missed yeterday, I'll have to catch up when I get home. The great thing about a two hour delay is the sleep, the bad thing is that I will have to sit in traffic for an hour.

Tracy

Classic/ Week 9/ Day 5/ Legs & Back; ARX (subbing? Still deciding. Will do Amy's SCII 1st premix again, first).

Hi! I've really got to scoot. Thanks a million Traci, Tracy, and Nicole. So, the gist is: doing a full body won't necessarily hurt, but probably won't help, either. My time would be better served by focusing on the legs. And yes, do all 8 sets of pull/chins as in LB. Sounds to me like you're all thinking I should sub a Cathe leg workout and rotate in 8 sets of pull ups. The last set of pull ups I'll do in Tracy's pyramid fashion. Oooookay. That's what I'll do. Maybe I'll do the 4DS lower body. I'll probably decide as my hand hovers over the collection.

Thank you very much for your feedback!! You're all a great resource to fall back on.

BBL to report on how things went, and catch up on all the fun stuff you guys are doing.

Cheers,
Sandra

Sounds like its dilemma day... I didnt get to a w/o yesterday so I dont know if today will be a doubles day or not...

2 nights ago I found 2 horrid raw/bleeding spots on Kabo & was out of his prescription spray (common allergy occurance for him)... I had to call the vet & go @ 7am to get it filled ..... Well I wasnt expecting to have to deal w/ going back into the vets office (or even driving that route) so soon.... I was keeping it all together (not really but I fake well) until I walked into vet & the same two assistants that helped me w/ Sandy that dreadful Xmas eve were @ the desk ready to help me. I felt my strength buckling but just started chattering incessantly- a 2 second lull in the conversation & the head gal looks me right in the eye & says..."So how are you all doing?" (in the sympathetic tone) I lost it - laughed thru tears and said, "Oh we're doing terrific!"..... That sent me into a tailspin for remainder of day.... The best thing I could have done was w/o to re-focus my mind but at the time I just couldnt get myself to slow down enough to actually have that rational thought.... Anyhoo- here we are to today...

I dont think its a good idea to double up today tho as yesterdays w/o (now todays priority) was BBC HIIT + Ab/Core Plus.... Todays w/o was scheduled APX Full Body (long version).... I think its best to just be 1 day behind my schedule & maybe double up next week IF I really feel like my body can handle it. I am still pretty DOMS-Y from the 2 full bodys already this week- Actually my chest feels like Cedie & Cathe are sitting on it! ...Thoughts on that strategy???

Happy Pre-order Day!!!!:7 :7 If we had a little guy jumping up & down & clapping his hands I'd use that! Good thoughts to Teddy on X... :* We're such a smart group!!! Wendell trainined last night (3rd for week) ... He doesnt really like it but doing it because "He has to"... I really hope he can feel a positive diff in another week after the rough part is over.... He isnt like me at all & has never loved the feel of the burn - We shall see. Have a great day speding that paycheck!!! R U getting Amys as well? With no shipping cost its like 31.00 for 2 workouts and she gives TONS of premixes. }( Presale ends Saturday... awwwwww just do it!}(

Your description sounds like a post card for Debras weekend hideaway! I wanna live with you!!!! GREAT job on the BC yesterday!!! I always laugh when ya'll talk about the core segment- I think I deserve laziest Xer award as I LOVE the core as poroduced- I get to stop & lay down!!! :+ ^5 on calling dentist...I've tranferred a Call Dish Network on my daily planner for THREE WEEKS! I just dont like the telephone at all can ya tell?! ~~~~~ x( Bug dreams!!! Those are the worst!! As a kid I has spider dreams all the time! ewwwwwx( DH & I just last night started talking about tennis again & walking the golf course....Since he's not "in love" w/ strength training I told him once we have a night where weather is good we'll get his lifting in between the fun stuff for him. ~~ Sorry I didnt get back to respond to your leg questions... ahh- I see you got terrific advise tho!!! The only thing I'd add is that while you are doing your circuit legs I'd focus * plan to go heavy on the poundage... Just me BUT in circuits I usually whimp out a bit on the leg work just because I'm winded.... Better to do it heavier & take a cardio mini break or pause altogether IMO.... Now ya make me want o get my circuits dusted off... Thats how I spent my first year w/ Cathe. ;-)

Good to see your little popcycle self! :+ Congrats on continuing to keep Tony in your busy evenings!

Hey there lady! I'll have to refresh & see if you checked in.... Maybe a snow day??? Loved your advise to Jeanette on legs.... Go get yourself certified and be done with it already!:* You are so accustomed to studying already that you could ace ACE:+ REALLY! The hardest part of all the training is learning how to study + learning anatomy- you already have both those pieces so just do it! ~~ LOL on huckleberries! Heck if I know! We have blackberry bushes all over the place @ the bay but I dont know but the other... I wouldnt know a huckleberry if I sat on it! ~~~ On your dilemma of increasing the weightload you can safely carry in the front.... I have read many times that there is a limit to the load a petite person will ever be able to SAFELY use in that poition.... Once you hit that its heavier with a spotter only or just change up frequently the type of training you do with those moves.... Pyramids;-) , Negatives, 21's, supersets, etc...... Just be careful.... WooHoo!!! I just read you went back to bed today!!! Good for you!

D:*E:*B:*R:*A
The cottage is soooooooo romantic & cool!!!! YES- I shall call Viagra & have the filming crew head up there tonight! }( LOL on inherently lazy! I know thats not true because I read what you do daily!:p Perhaps you are simply happy with your body and have no desire/need to venture too far outside the ring of fitness you have created..... You could use ONE DVD forever and just change reps/wt load and still be happy w/ your physique.... I say if it aint broke dont fix it! ~~I was "clearing the air" because there was a small fire in a trash can! I'd say thats a very good reason to do it at 2am dont you?:7 ~~ ITA that your consistent yoga is making a huge diff in how your body looks.... GOOD GIRL!!! Have a WONDERFUL HAPPY JOY-FILLED trip if I dont see you!!!:* mwah:* mwah:* mwah:*

I cant wear them!!:+ :+ ~~~ ROFL on DH's talking! THEY are always ready!:p Jeanettes right on that Out of Body is nasty pyramids! S:7 A:7 N:7 D:7 R:7 A ( AGAIN!!!) :7
WHO KNEW about the legwork in ME???? Why didnt you tell me? My heavens its intense.... I usually get excited once legs are done in the beginning of a Full Body- good lord that woman never stopped inserting! WITCH }( --- I do hope you got some helpful info prior to starting your day...I think I made the deadline;-) Have a great workout whatever you choose! :*

Off to get myself geared up (literally) for Tony & Barry..... XXOO Great day to all!

Question for those that have KEST- Tone.....
If I do APX all Upper tomorrow can I count TONE as my leg workout? I think you guys have said how sore your legs are after that one.... For legs this week I have done:
*P90X+ Full Body
*B&G Standing
*ME
*HIIT/PLYO
hmmmmm- now that I write it do I need to do APX legs??? I say YES:-( but I have never done Tone.... ADVICE????:*

TGIF Xers!!

I'm doing the Halfway Through the Round Happy Dance!! lol. This morning Cathe and I rocked it out with 4DS Bootcamp cardio. From all the extra cardio, I'm really getting in good shape and my HR just doesn't come up nearly as high as it used to (no anaerobic for me) and drops like a rock. It's both good and bad, lol. Later on, I'll be doing ARX and Legs & Back. Today, my DS starts his Kenpo classes, and he's psyched. He's had private lessons up 'til now, so it'll be fun for him to meet other kids and do his stuff together with them. Tonight is our monthly game night with our friends, too, and we're hosting. It should be fun, and I'm glad I don't have to get up early for cardio tomorrow!!

Traci-X -- I didn't end up getting a workout on Wednesday, and I debated doubling up, too. I've done it in the past, but I decided not to since next week is a Recovery Week. I skipped Back & Bis, so yesterday I did yoga as scheduled (though I subbed Eoin), today is L&B as scheduled, tomorrow is Kenpo as scheduled, but instead of resting Sunday, I'm cranking out Back & Bis since Monday is just yoga. With the stretch day built into the Recovery Week, I can take a rest day there if I really need to. Just my two cents. I know you'll figure out a schedule that works for you :) I'm glad you liked Tracey's Cardio Sweatfest better. I have that one, too, but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe I'll do that instead of Kenpo next week... Hmmmm... now I have a dilemma, too, lol. Tracey or Ilaria??

Kim -- I think you win the award for most frozen Xer. BRRRRRRRRR!!!!! I'm glad you're still keeping up with the workouts despite the busy-ness of life :)

Wendy -- Have a safe and (hopefully) wonderful trip!! I hope this one is better than the last one :)

Nicole -- I'm mostly doing the bonus cardio in the morning. No big changes, but then my eating has not been great :( If I really cleaned it up, I would probably have better results. I'll be measuring again in about 2 weeks, though, so I'll know more then.

Tracy -- I hoped you enjoyed the extra sleep :)

Hi to everyone else!! I hope you all have a great Friday!

Carol

Doubles/Phase II/ Week 5/ Day 5
Workout: KenpoX (as promised):)

Good morning,

TGIF.......altho, I have a training class tonight after work, for the Presidential Election, March 4th, yep! me working it again NEED $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$x(

Any who, this morning my workout rocked, feeling good, my upper body is sore from yesterday workout. I have a goodie planned for tomorrow:p :p I’ll explain on Monday. I will chit chat later.

Hi all! The diva's school was delayed 2 hours for weather (hunh?) this morning, so I was not able to go to my class. I will have to work out a plan with my mom in the future so that I don't have to miss class since apparently they close the schools here for rain. I emailed my professor last night, though, and had a very nice email waiting for me this morning from her. So all is good....and I spent a lot of time yesterday afternoon preparing for the test next week.

I am heading out for my romantic weekend with CB this evening, but I will be around most of the day since he has to work until 7...He is going to try to get out a bit earlier, so I hope that happens! I have lots of errands to run today...gotta get some hiking boots...can you believe that with all the shoes I have...no hiking boots??? It is supposed to snow in WV tomorrow and we want to find some trails to walk on. I am also taking my yoga mat and PY4H just in case I have time for a quickie with Eoin.

Yesterday, I did PY4H ...the first one...not the one with tragically hips...and I really enjoyed it...There are a few different moves on that one...and lots of 'flow'...not as much nectar though! I've done it before, but it has been a while. I am planning on some sort of cardio today...oh, yeah...I also ordered 4 advanced step dvds last night from Collage...4 different instructors to see if I like any of them...I did get Amy's Step Challenge, too. We'll see...I will use Tracy's technique of using parts of the new ones as a warm up and see if that helps my frustration level. I was thinking last night...and I remember when I first started with Cathe (3 years ago) and I tried 'Basic Step'...it took me FOREVER to learn those moves...and she obviously goes slow and easy, but I just didn't have any experience with step workouts...so I figure, I can learn new moves...Heck, if I can go back to school at 40, surely I can learn a few new step routines! I also did some measurements today...no major changes since the last time...except my butt is apparently an inch smaller...I guess I can live with that!

personals...

Traci...
You know me, I'm going to say do the yoga!!! I am sure that Bryan will work your legs pretty hard. So sorry you had such a tough day yesterday. Those times can kind of sneak up on you when you aren't expecting it. Hope you are feeling better and more centered today. LOL about Cedie and Cathe sitting on your chest!! Those evil women! I was thinking...and I believe there is some huckleberry wine at the farmer's market...I will have to pick some up for the retreat. On being happy with my physique....I am for the most part....Of course, there are always things I would change, but there is only so much I am willing to sacrifice to get there. Mostly, I feel like I have a lot of loose skin....the joys of getting old....LOL! I do believe that yoga has made a very positive impact on my body shape and I will forever be thankful to Tony for helping me not feel guilty when yoga is my only workout for the day.

Geez...I just looked at the time and I have to get the diva off and running and get the doggie to the kennel....I will bbl to finish the rest of personals.....Happy day to all until I return!

Good morning,
Today was a leg day, so I did the standing work in Butts & Guts, then switched to the floor work in GS Legs. Great workout and I really focused on going lower with my squats and lunges. Did my legs ever burn!!! Thanks, Tracy, Traci and Sandra for the advice. I know legs are not my favorite, but that's the area that needs the most work. Now I need to just get down do it, and change my whole mindset about it. I kept thinking that they are my largest muscles so will burn more calories. Okay, I may be doing a spin session with the Garage Boys tomorrow morning so my legs will probably be sore and tired, but for a spin session, who cares. Now if it was a competition or big ride, that'd be different.

Tracy, glad you got to sleep in a little. Hope you are not too groggy from it.

Sandra, glad you got some good advice. I'm not too good at offering as I'm not that knowledgeable, but I knew the other gals would help. I've never done the 4DS Legs yet. I could have done that one today for standing legs, but never thought of it.

Traci, (((hugs))) to you on your tough day. It'll get easier, but I know how much it hurts. My DH still misses his beloved little dachshund Yogi. We lost her I think to an owl or hawk about 6 years ago. He misses her, but Lexxie and Tillie ease the pain for him. He's pretty wrapped up in both of them. Hope you get Wendell outside soon. My dream would be to have DH play golf with me. I'm hoping I can get him out in the spring. I will keep that in mind on my circuits....go heavy as I can. I'm getting a little more excited about working my legs, thanks to all you gals. You wouldn't even know I ride bikes by looking at these legs so obviously, that hasn't helped a lot, though I love riding for other reasons.

Oooooh, goodness, where has the time gone? I've got to run and get in the shower!!! Got to get the oil changed after work, get dog and cat food, etc. May be going to Costco this weekend. A new Cabelas opened in Reno a couple months ago. DH has gift cards and wants to spend them!

Jeanette

Reporting in............
Abs/Core plus completed: TRACY!!! You were so on target with this! OMG - I shall NEVER do ARX again- This one is fabulous! Although my PullUp bar hasnt arrived (backordered) I was able to do alternate versions of most the moves w/ my cables --- I did Heels to Heaven for one of the ones I couldnt think of an alternative for.... This is a keeper in a regular rotation for a looong time for me...

BBC Arms Cardio DONE! After doing this as HIIT format 1 minute work / rest 30.... I clearly decided that my legs just wouldnt benefit from APX today... I need the extra rest day with them - if ya call plyo rest:eek:

I thought about doing APX Upper today but w/ all the push ups in that one I want an extra "rest" day for upper as well... Tony made sure we got alot of those in the Plus Core!:p BBC also does burpees - SHEEZE! Whats wrong w/ these people!!!

Off to rid self of stinkies......

Jeanette:
Before I forget.... I dont think for 1 sec you dont have the knowledge to make all these choices in your leg workouts for yourself... TRUST ME! If I did what I actually make my clients do I would be competing in the next Old Lady Figure Competition! I try & make my personal rotations thinking of a client who has same challenges & goals as I have... Its MUCH easier to crank out a toughie rotation if its for someone else!!:+ Also when I have to actually DO IT I tell myself it WILL burn my over the top BF + I have to do it to "practice" the routine for the client.... For me its all about self talk & rationalizing otherwise I'd blow it all off most days... I am just not self disciplined.

Back later- Client @ 4 today

Good day xers! Quick hello and howdy to all!

The sun is shining here today but very cold. I did Tracie Longs core endurance this AM and will do a run after work.

Debra, happy day to you. Have a :) time with CB.

Jeanette, enjoy your spin with the boys. ;)

I'm at the office and haven't gotten to any of my work yet.

Have a great day all! sorry ;( I must go for now.

Morning Xers,

Round 3/Phase 2/Week 3/Day 3
Workout: Back & Biceps / ARX / 30 Min Run on TM (No way am I running in temps of 1 deg. :7 :7 )

B&B is done, just need to get ARX and my run in later. I would like to go get some errands done tonight, so we will see how it goes. Oldest DD needs some running attire for cold weather.

Still have not found my glasses. So I'm thinking that a semi ran them over and it got in the tire. How else could a pair of glasses just disapear. x( I have my contacts in right now, and so far so good. It took a little while for my eyes to adjust though. :D

I am now on the preorder for the two new Amy workouts also. I am a sucker for kb workouts. :D

Traci, Big {{{{HUGS}}} to you for the vet visit. The Tone workout is the one that he holds the lunges for a loooong time. Had to LOL at Cathe and Cedie sitting on your chest. Cathe does like to work that chest area doesn't she. :D One thing I am happy about this new series is that she has a set number of exercises for each body part. So that way we don't get the chest overload. :D LOL on the fancy glasses. I look in the mirror at work, and don't recognize myself without the glasses. :D

Tracy, Nope I am not bored with PlyoX. :7 :7 I can't explain why this one never gets to me. Maybe I'm hoping one day to be just like Dom, jumping so high that I hit my head on the floorboards in my basement. :7 :7 I think what is helping me with this, is I have been trying to get in additional 30 min interval workouts. I love Cathe's 4DS BC, BC Blast only for this. Since DD had finals this week she decided that she would start with her running group next week Monday. She can't take too much stress when it involves test. :D But she has been running on the TM, and we will be trying to find some of my weight workouts for her this weekend.

Debra, Nice to have a teacher who is understanding. Hope that your weekend is relaxing. :D So you are going to be bringing yoga along with you too. My DH gets too many ideas when he sees some of the poses. Nasty man that he is. :+ :D I think you will be fine with the new instructors. Some of the ones I have tried have been duds. I find that Turbo Jam just isn't my thing, but DD likes them. Must be the music.

Carol, What type of games do you all play? Is it board games or cards? Have to love a good game of cards. My GP loved to play Rummy, and it was easy for a large group of people to play. Easy for kids to learn too.

TG, Now you are making me curious, and I may not be able to wait until Monday. :7 :7 How long will this class take?

Jeanette, Great workout today, even though it included floorwork. :7 :7 Wonder when I will find any floor workouts fun. :7 They opened a Cabelas here just last year. I have never been to it, because my DH doesn't hunt. Apparently it is quite an adventure to shop there. :D

Swifty, Howdy back at you too. :D

Kim, Glad you are doing so well with the workouts. Got to love when you can up the weights too. :D

Wendy, Have a safe trip!

Sandra, I think you received some great advice from the others, and it looks like you are heading on the track you need to so no other advice is coming from this girl. :D Everyone is doing such tough workouts lately that I'm feeling like a wimp. :7 :7 :7

Nicole, I have only done the one workout so far of Eion, and from what I see I like. I'm very happy that he shows all types of poses for different levels. Sometimes I think that camera stayed on the one pose to long to see other poses. I will be trying out some more of the workouts when I get the chance. But so far I'm giving it an A. I did find that my right hip needs some work though. :D

Have a great day!

Laurie

Good morning again!

Great workout today: Amy's SCII premix #1 (33mins; went really well, and lots of fun); GS Legs with the 8 rounds of pull/chin ups from P90X inserted throughout; and CoreMax 3. For my pull/chin up sessions I focused on hitting full fatigue around the 10 rep mark by keeping my toe off the high step as much as possible. I was successful, and will probably be feeling my back tomorrow. I sure do like the idea of doing fewer reps of pull ups, but going harder at it. Assisting myself into the 20+ rep range seems like it does more for endurance than for increasing muscle mass, and adds extra wear and tear on the joints.

Traci....my vote is for you to just add on an extra day; don't double up. If you're still feeling the full body work from Weds, then you would do better with an extra rest day, IMO. I'm so sorry you had such a rough trip to the vet's. I'll bet the staff were really supportive. You have to be a compassionate person to work in a vet's office. With ME, I like the fact that she inserts it in bits and pieces, rather than all at once like in her others. It gets the heart pumping again, after the focus on the smaller muscle groups. Isn't it nice, though, that there isn't a plie squat in sight? Oh yes, I caught your post first thing this morning, thank you very much!! I read from it that you feel I wouldn't be doing myself harm, but perhaps wouldn't be doing myself any good, either. Combined with what Tracy and Nicole said, it seemed like I should just stick with the lower body and the pull ups. And you know what? I'm glad I did. I had a great workout today. Awwww nuts to you for raving on about Core+!! I mentioned last week how much I'm looking forward to that dvd, and now you've just made me mad that it's not here already! <sulk sulk>. Okay, I'll stop acting like a child and say: yay! I'm glad you found some ab work you love. Oh, btw, I think you've done enough leg work for the week; the yoga should be enough.

Jeanette....You've never even tried 4DS legs?? Give it a whirl! It's really good. There are no low pulses and endless reps; just straight lifting for 10-12 reps. It seems to go by quickly, too. About working the lower body: in all of her fatloss rotations, Cathe lays on thick all of the workouts that use the legs well, be it weight training or cardio. You want to burn calories? Use the leg muscles!

Tracy....A 2 hour delay means you're 2 hours closer to the weekend! Woohoo! Amy's SCII combos 1-3 went excellent today. I'm ready to learn 4&5. But first I'm going to preview Kickbox Extreme and see if it's a good sub for Kenpo tomorrow. You mentioned my ability to learn choreo: I think all the time I spent learning Christi Taylor's workouts taught me a lot about choreography. To be frank, so far Amy's choreo is not as complicated as Christi's. Amy counts on a similar beat as Cathe, uses the same terminology to refer to the moves, and doesn't first teach you 3 other ways of doing the move before teaching you the way she really wants you to do it (Christi does that; it makes it confusing to figure out what she means when she tells you to do something).

Debra....No hiking boots? I have a VERY expensive Italian leather pair that I no longer wear because they're a hair too small and eventually my toes lose the battle against the tough leather. When you go shopping, make sure there's room in the toes to account for slightly swollen feet after lots of walking. Two days into our backpacking trips, I'm usually ready to chop off my toes; it would be less painful. Have a TERRIFIC time this weekend!!!!! Oh, if you need to get some nectar from Eion, then CB is not living up to expectations!

Carol....Half way to the finish line!!! Woohoo!!

Teddygirl....Have a great day and a super weekend!

Swift Amy....Howdy!!

Nicole....Thanks for your advice yesterday! Too bad about the kids losing their game (boooo!).

I've got to get going. Have a great day!
Sandra

L&B or comparable substitute}(

I am taking a break from paying billsx( I did order STS:D:D:D:D:D:D I was #18436 which means I have 713 people ahead of me. Wouldn't it be nice to make $145,000 in a week?:) I cannot believe that many people would so quickly shell out $200! I guess that's why Cathe is where she is.

I have to go to the grocery store today and get some decent food. I pulled a lot of recipes out of my Oxygen magazine that look good. I hope it will get me on the right track.

Traci-X, Big {{{{HUGS}}}} for you right now! I'm sure every trip to the vet will be a reminder of sweet Sandy for a bit. I hope Kabo recovers 100% soon. Good idea to steer clear from doubles today. There's always tomorrow or next week:) After a $200 purchase I will have to wait to spend more:p Thanks for the temptation though. Looks like Core+ is a hit. I really liked the looks of that one. Maybe I'll try it today. Nah, there's always tomorrow;) I love the names with faces:)

Tracy, I'm glad you were able to sleep in this morning. That must have felt good. Hope traffic wasn't too bad. I had to drive home in rush hour traffic yesterday while passing all of the exits I hear about on the traffic report:p Traffic is a supreme waste of time!

Sandra, Glad the combined advice helped you decide what to do this morning:) Sounds like you figured it out. I would say I'd follow your lead, but I'm not that motivated;) I'll let you know how my chin/pull ups go on the new bar.

Debra, I'm glad to hear the delay worked out for you. Sounds like you may be teacher's pet this year:D Which four DVD's did you get? Have a great time with Larry in the mountains!

Carol, Sounds like a happy day for you! I have thought about putting DS's #1 & 2 in martial arts of some kind but I hate to drive farther than I already do. Maybe one day soon. Have fun at game night and way to go on your cardio improvements!

Teddygirl, Have fun making extra $$$! Way to go! I'm glad you got Kenpo in!

Jeanette, I'm right there with you on lower body work! Hate it! I know I see big differences in my legs when I do it I just have to really hype myself up to do it. As you can see it's 9:30 and I'm still here chatting. It isn't a coincidence that it's a leg day:p I'm surprised my DH has found an excuse to go to Reno and visit the new Cabela's. Last year our vacation was planned around stopping into the new one in Lehi, UT:p

Swifty, Glad to see you pop in!!! How is your studying going? I hope it's almost done. Pop in and see us anytime! Miss you:)

Laurie, Bummer, no glasses yet? Have fun shopping with your DD! Hope the contacts don't dry out:)

Off to stop procrastinating and do my leg workout:p

My abs feel good regardless:)

Laurie: Nothing spectacular about tomorrow’s workoutx( me:+ going to try something different adding a little more spice to my workout. Tonight's class is from 5:30 to 8:30 argh...I did agree to work the polls March 4th but they said training would only be 2 hours oppose too 4, duh! Any who, I’m going to go, and get the dog gone thang over with.

Sandra: You have a great weekend too. It's freezing cold here in Ohio. When I get home tonight, won’t see outdoors till Monday. I have a good book I down loaded today it is called “Group Home GuideBook” basically about "How To Open A Successful Group Home" the book is only 141 pages that should keep me out of trouble.

Tracie: I did }( How is Kabo doing? (((hugs))) Have fun with your client this evening :)

Tracey, Debra, Amy, Swifty, Nicole, Carol, Kim and Jeanette we haven’t talked much I know, I promise I’ll do better. Wishing each and everyone of you guys a wonderful and warm weekend :) ;)

Hi all,

Traci - So sorry about the vet visit. My Jessie probably needs to go, but she has gotten so feeble I just don't know what to do with her:( I agree about not doubling up. It's not really worth it unless you have nothing to do. Then it usually throws the rotation off for the rest of the week. Tone can be considered a leg workout! You know it's floorwork for me! I printed the rotation and I'll send you an email either tonight or tomorrow. They have huckleberries out west. I've never really eaten them either. Thanks for the thoughts on the bicep work. I think you are probably right, so I'll have to concentrate more on changing things up.

Sandra - Glad you got in a good workout! I'm sure there is quite a different feeling going to fatigue with fewer reps. That's what I've been doing all along. I think you'll see more progress. I figure build up strength then endurance. What's the longest cardio you usually do?

Debra - Enjoy your romantic weekend.

Jeanette - Good for you for persevering through the legs. I think you will be happy with the results. I think by doing the weight work you will develop the strength you need for riding. I guess if that nut in the NROLW said one thing that stuck in my mind it is that the endurance work does not build the same type of muscle fiber that weight work does. It's not that I didn't know that, but the reminder helps to make cross training more appealing.

Nicole - I see we have you spending money too. I hate to help with the enabling. I hope you enjoy. I commented before if you have never hung from a bar, it is not easy. When I started the x last year, I could barely hang from the bar. It does get better, it just takes time.

TG - Don't worry about the comments, we can talk later.

I guess I'm going to walk today for my cardio, does that really count?

Tracy

Last post I SWEAR! Client arriving any minute......

WHY do people find it necessary to post on a forum what they ARENT buying???? Never dawns on me to go to Amy, Tracey, Eoin and post on their forums that I shall not be purchasing your new stuff..... Wont the company kinda KNOW how many people DONT based on sales reports????
