Xers ~Fridays Fix~

Sandra...As usual...you crack me up! I guess I have always called burpees squat thrusts...at least that is what my maniacal gym teacher from the 9th grade called them!!! I hope the "stool" your toddler was referring to is an actual stool as opposed to a poopie kind of "stool"! Whichever...good luck! I don't have a problem with cobra, updog, or bow...It is just wheel that I have a problem with...I can do camel fine...but wheel just seems out of reach for me...Let me add that my DD has no problem doing that particular move and shows it to me all the time. And please...come for a visit..Would love to have you anytime...we only serve the finest drinks here!! Glad you had dinner ready...what a good mom you are! I don't feel like you are taking my title of the most wonderful mother...since I read with the urchins...and watched a Xmas video...and helped DD pick out presents for my XDH for Xmas and birthday.

~~~To all~~~
While we were shopping today...someone said to me, "You're so small!" and DD piped up and said. "She's not small, she's 40!" Thanks, dear. Also...Did you know that they do not sell a Xmas card for divorced spouses? Don't you think they should? They have husband cards, romantic cards, someone special cards, etc...But none for divorced folks....I know a lot of people don't get along after the separation...but what about those of us who do? "Special person" seems a little cold...but what do you do?
Good evening, ladies!
Just a quick perusal, but I can't remember anything I read except Sandra's little one needing a stool!
After floundering around for a couple of weeks, not feeling 'right' with the world, I started doing my own weights. I tried getting back with the DVD weight routines, but it just didn't feel right! Anyway, I'm back, doin' my own thang and I'm feeling it now! My glutes/butt are humming and it's only the first evening after the workout....what's tomorrow going to feel like!?!?!? I had better remember my BCAA's!!!:D
Good evening ladies,
Busy, good day at work today. Am hearing that the promotion package is on the Warden's desk to sign off. Hope it's not a rumor and that good news will come on Monday, with an effective date of 12/1/07.
Just got done baking a couple raspberry-cream cheese coffeecakes for tomorrow's Christmas tree get together. Also have the peppermint schnapps, cocoa and whipped cream ready for the Peppermint Patties. Hoping to find a nice silvertip Christmas tree.
Just now finished Ab Ripper X. Gets easier each time.
Latrese, hope you get that computer fixed. Goodness, what did we do before computers? I am so attached to mine, it's not funny. Glad you got such an excellent sleep. I used to read the BB forum a lot, but the threads load kind of slow for me. I have enough to keep up with.
Debra, my elbow has been wonderful, thanks for asking. I'm so pleased that it's coming along well. Hopefully, pushups won't bother it too much. Of course, I don't have to do a bunch of those for a while on the Lean Rotation. The Personnel Mgr. must have heard that I would kick her butt in an arm wrestling match if she didn't get the lead out. Crossing my fingers it will be all signed off and official by next week. Yep, I couldn't help but hear the moaning this morning. For someone with such strong legs, she sure cries for her mama. I am hoping to get a golf game in on Sunday. I have a meeting out of town on Tues. and Wedn. Was hoping to take my clubs or bike, but don't think the meeting will be over each day until almost dark. Maybe there is night golfing? Is there such a thing? The colonoscopy talk came from me mentioning that I'm turning 50 next year and will schedule certain tests in honor of the occasion. I'd forgotten about a colonoscopy, but Traci, bless her little heart, reminded me. She is right though. Go easy on that back, missy. Great weekend you have planned!
Sandra, glad you had an excellent class yesterday. A tiring 45 minute workout sounds just perfect. Hope you get the sub for more classes. Nice strategy for the pullups. I will get the Bryan Kest tape out next week. Glad you will take it. All three in the series are good ones IMO, but then again, I'm not a big, big yoga fan. Maybe sometime though. Okay, now I have your DD's placed as to which one does what in re: to exercise. So great that they are learning young and liking it.
Tracy, you make me envious, working out with your DS. Wish my kids liked to work out.
Nicole, sorry about your frustrating day. We're here to listen if you want to vent. Hope you have some ME time scheduled soon. How was Legs & Back today? Hope it wasn't too much for your back.
Amy, hoping you find your groove again.
Night, night,
Jeanette
