I know...who knew I would be starting the thread?!? A long story, but none the less still awake this evening. Don't know if I'll get to that bike ride today or not...LOL!

Traci...Just wanted to give you a big ole shock when you logged on this morning!! Hope you guys survived the storm okay with the dogs' sanity still intact.

Wendy...Glad you had such a great birthday! Sounds like you must keep hold of that good man you've got! Besides the guy hitting on Phil, how did you like the class?

Nicole...Nice of you to help your sister out...Hope to see you later today!

Teddygirl...Sounds like you had a good workout last night..and that bubble bath was much deserved! Hope you got some sleep.

Carol....Sorry your rest day was spent running around...those darn pesky kids are always needing something! LOL!

I think I caught up with everyone else yesterday...or was that still today...it's a bit of a blur!

Okay...I do think I am going to head to bed now...See you guys hopefully much later in the morning!

Good Morning, Xer's!! TGIF :) :)

Again NO workout last night. I did preview Boot Camp & part of Circuit Max....I have't done these workouts for so long I thought I would pull them out. Looks like Boot Camp tonight!
Today is my daughters "9th Grade Picnic" at the high school. She gets her schedule and will be able to walk around and locate her classes....which will be a big help come 1st day. I can't believe school starts in 1 - week  They go back August 27th!!!

Debra~ Don't you hate when you can't fall asleep!! (HA, Wendy and I on the RT)... :) Sweet Dreams!!

Wendy~ It sounds like you had a Great B-day....Looks like you had a Margarita for me also :9 .. How was the Yoga Class? Where did you go? I love that Phil took the class with you, Can you imagine Sandro doing it....Yeah right, NOT!!! :) I used to do a Yoga class in Chester Springs years ago... I would love to start back up! Hopefully I can get around to get my tire fixed this weekend, I would love to get out riding sometime!

Sandra X ~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! :) :)

Traci-X ~ TGIF... YAY :) Have a Great workout today. Try to stay dry! Wow, 8 inches of rain! We need rain so bad here, looked like it was going to hit yesterday, but to no avail!

BBL,
Hi to all that follow!!

XoXo

Morning Ladies,

Rotation: Cathe July '07
Workout: Week 4/Day 4/Legs & Glutes

The rotation called for PLB Up Only Premix, but I'm not wanting to constantly change weights today. Haven't done L&G in quite a while, and am looking forward to it. :D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sandra! Hope your day is a great one.

Traci, Funny you should mention the faire down in TX. At the cook-out last night we meet a bunch of people that live down there. They work our faire in the summer, and then head to MN until the TX show starts. One of the guys just flew in from TX yesterday. He said his flight was delayed because of the storms. He was so happy to be in "cool" weather. At this time we are having the most beautiful weather. It is suppose to be in the high 60's and raining all weekend. x( But I guess that is better than temps in the 100's.

Debra, Get some sleep.

Wendy, Your Yoga session sounds like a lot of fun, two thumbs up for Phil on the idea. On your birthday we all need a chance to have a few drinks and talk even more. :D Since I never had the chance on my b'day, I made up for it last night. I was tipping back a few glasses of wine last night at the party myself. :9

Anointed, Did you get that much needed restful sleep?

Nicole, Did you get that presentation done and off to your sister? That was very nice of you to help her with that.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Quick Fly By to report Shoulders & Arms completed... Gotta get errands run THE SUN IS OUT! happy dancin'!
I will probably do some kind of plyo work this afternoon- feelin' the need for some boot scootin'!

Hugs to all- BBL to catch up!

Hi again..back up...GAWD..Traci, how do you do this all the time??? Anyway, it is actually raining here today...which gives me the perfect excuse not to go riding...since I only had about 3 hours of sleep last night, I was thinking this probably wouldn't be pretty. I will definitely go next week after DD gets back to school. I didn't get a chance to get my accessories put on my bike yesterday anyway. We'll see how I am feeling this afternoon after a nap which I am hoping to take! I will probably do some sort of cardio that I don't have to think about too much. Then GS legs tomorrow...

********SANDRA*************
Happy birthday dear woman!!!! Hope you have a great day! I'm sure I am not supposed to ask, but how many candles are on that cake this year?? I now understand why you were in a bit of a funk this week....Birthdays kind of lose their excitement after you turn 30!

Traci...Sorry your babies are taking the storms so hard...I guess I'm lucky that my dog is pretty dumb...she pays no attention to that kind of thing! Yes, my dog's meds are prescribed by the vet, but the omega 3s look just like the ones I take. And the antihistamine is pretty cheap. We actually had tax free weekend a couple of weeks ago....but I did find a couple of shirts (after much searching) that worked for my purposes. I guess I really need to get a couple of pairs of dress pants just to have for such occasions.

Jenn....I just assumed that your kids were small...There is no way you have kids in high school!!!! I took a look at your picture trail...and you don't look but about 5 years older than your daughter! My DD's first day at school is a kind of open house to meet the teacher and the kids with me around the whole time which I am hoping will make this transition easier for her. Have fun with BC tonight!

Laurie...Hope you have fun with L&G....I did that one last week, and it felt great! Sounds like you have some yucky weather for the weekend, but I am sure you guys need the break from the heat. I know that you guys up there don't handle the heat very well...LOL!

Okay...I will be back in a bit...I don't have to pick up DD for another hour and a half...so I think I am just going to veg for a while.

Later gators

Happy Friday………

Why did I have to change my password this morning, before I could reply, did you all?

Laurie: Enjoy Legs & Glutes that one have alwaysss been my favorite leg workout I always seem to get EXCELLENT results, nice work!!!

Debra: re-group and you’ll be okay there’s always tomorrow, right? Enjoy your day. Did you go shopping yesterday? What did you buy? Noisy aren’t I:p

Tracie: lovely:) what’s up with you today? are you heading to the Bay for the weekend?

No, rest again I woke up 6 times, couldn’t believe itx( I just laid there thinking what the heck is up with this sh$$, strange and my bed was wet from sweating ARGH……………I was cold and wet, but going to nip all this in the bud, My sister brought me a natural remedy medical book, going to seek out herbs for HELP!

I finally got me buns up and made my bed had coffee, oh and of course watched Divorce Court, okay enough is enough, for the past 3 weeks repeated episodes, but I still find it too be hilarious, I tell you, that show cracks me up. Then I checked out the news while preparing for me workout. So sad about the miners that’s was killed, really is.

I started my workout with abs/planks from ab hit, from now on abs first every morning wont hurt to do them for 10 or 15 minutes everyday. Then, I did hour jog on me TM.

Tonight, yep! P90X CST:9 :D

W/O - KenpoX and ABRX completed this AM. Thanks to all on the advice on btoB circuit work.

Faaaantastic Friday Morning to all xer’s!!! Sorry I didn’t spend any time with personals yesterday. Getting ready for camping trip this weekend. We leave today for Tionesta and will check out the big events at the Indian Festival.

I see some have posted while I worked on this post. I'm behind- better late than not.

SandraX – Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to SandraX, Happy Birthday to you! Whooo hooo! Have fun you wonderful woman.

DebraX – Lullaby, and good night, go to sleep little Debra. What type of hummingbird feeder did you purchase? I found ours lying broken on the deck last week after a wind storm. The type where a glass bottle screws into the lid. The wind blows, it unwinds and falls, results sticky mess. I do not recommend this type. Now there are sure to be hungry hummers somewhere around my house.

Jen- Hi! Have you worked up the energy to do a wo last night? Thanks for hanging with me down the road out of Philly. Nice rotation – I love GS!

Netta – Hope your having fun! I know you are.

AmyX – Details on the vacation pulease?

TraciX-Your graphic/website person is most talented. I just love the website, announce the addition pictures please. Plyxo and Xtrain on the same day? What a fabulous girl you are!

Cheryl – Rest those eyes. You simply will NOT regret the surgery. I had lasik for nearsightedness done 5 yr. ago (dad paid for it in lieu of a safari to Africa – go figure) Post surgery notice I have a more difficult time driving at night but overall I LOVE IT! Best part is not wearing the glasses and toting all the contact stuff around.

Carol – How wonderful it is that you care so much to travel to the ortho for DS! I applaud you for your upper body w/o. (Tough!) Also for having the patience to homeschool. I bow to those of you who take the world of teaching into your own hands. I’m afraid it would be a great disservice to homeschool my DD. I entertained the idea prior to her first Bday then made the right decision to send her to public last year.

WendyX – Are you feeling supercharged and special following your B-day extravaganza? Yes, I had some DOMS Sun &Mon. I rubbed some muscle rub on my legs during the drive home. I couldn’t wait! No emissions on cars in the countryside of PA. I know in the city of Pgh. it was required. Hate forking out the extra $$ for that. Sending out the homeschool high 5’s your way also. Working out and homeschooling how do you do it? Smarts and brawn – Wow!

TG – Bubbles and cupcakes and workouts. I need some of the first two items.- What dedication throughout your tooth episode. You never give up! WTG!

Hello to Laurie & Nicole and others. Have a great weekend all and BB on Monday.

ETA - Yes, my BIL has 2 women. Not sure why I mentioned it except for his visit. His situation makes me think what a generic and stable lifestyle I have. Suppose I should have moved to CA in my 20’s to fulfill my adventurous risqué dreams. Too late now! ;)

Oh I know what I wanted to tell you guys, my youngest son phoned yesterday and said mom, I have good news, first thing came out of my mouth did you hit the Lottery lol:*

He said we’re pregnant, omg that made my evening:-( :) This will be his third child. I pray it’s a healthy baby girl, I only have one granddaughter the rest our all boys :7 This will be my 9th grandchild, thought I share:)

Swifty: Kenpo and ARX, niceeee job. Oh how I wish I own the Terminator DVD. I’m putting it on my wish list. Have a bless day.

Do I smell cake? Why, I think I do!!!!

Happy Birthday SandraX!!!
Sending you wishes that all is perfect in your world today!!!!

DebraX!!! I had to take a double look see this morning! I couldn't believe you started our check-in!!! I hope it was only a weird feeling of being in the house alone that kept you up instead of a heavy heart and worried thoughts. ^5^ to you for still being awake! I hope you're able to take a little nap today unless it messes up your sleep cycle. I'm planning on doing a cardio today as well. I'll be better with a structured w/o next week. Well yoga...

It was interesting. I met the instructor in the lobby before class. He didn't notice my Cathe tote bag. ;-) I asked if we were going to sweat. He said if we wanted to sweat and it's your class. He reminded me alot of Eoin. At one point in the class, he reminded me to smile. But, it wasn't the same as how Eoin does it for me! I love Eoin!!! Anyhow... There were only 5 of us in the class. One of them was a pregnant lady who did her own thing for the most part. The other was the receptionist who locked the front door and left during the end corpse pose (? the actual name of pose).

Some things I learned about correcting my poses: I need to tilt my tailbone under while in tree stand. I need to tilt my tailbone under while in yoga squat (sumo wrestler type squat). When coming from low plank (which is really mid-plank) into chaturanga or upward dog, I need to pull my chest forward and not arch my back so much. My downward dog pose needed adjusted. My tailbone was tilted enough and my back had a slight roundness to it. He had us move our back leg straight while on our hands and knees. He adjusted my leg lower in the air. For bridge, we're supposed to feel it in our thighs not glutes. Don't know if I was doing it right since I couldn't deactivate the glutes!

Meanwhile, the instructor kept complimenting Phil's perfect form, open hips, strong tree...blah, blah, blah, blah.}( ;) It's not fair!!! For one, he had a few beers at lunch with his co-workers. So, for every downward dog, the instructor would say we would stay there for 5 breaths. Phil would interpret that as 5 loud thumps in his head. Ha-Ha That's what he gets for being so perfect! Yes, you detect sarcasm! He's only done YogaX once all the way through with Tony. He's an X drop-out! It's just not right.;)

We got a free coupon to take another class. I don't know if Phil will be going back with me. I plan on using the free coupon. I might try another studio since they do that whole ocean breath, ring of fire breath (not for beginners) and focus more on being centered than power type yoga. Which isn't a bad thing if that's what you want.

Traci-X!!! Check you out! In Color!!! I hope you copied and pasted instead of typing all those html codes. I grew up in Florida. I know what you mean about hurricanes being part of life. In highschool, we used to have hurricane parties over more inland friends' houses. Shhhh, my mother doesn't know!!! We didn't take the seriousness of it all more seriously. Hopefully, Dean's wrath will miss you guys!!! You should have seen me when Phil told me what he had planned. I started hip hop dancing around and laughing. He says I'm easily amused.:7 Yay! You are back on track with your workouts! Each day is a new day! Did you hear me? I think I'm slowly morphing into a yogi! LOL

Hey Jenn!!! No, I can't imagine Sandro taking a yoga class. LOL You never know! One of the reasons I like CC Factory's martinis is that I don't think they put too much alcohol in their drinks. I get more tipsy off of taking sips of cheap cooking wine while stirring the white sauce for stuffed flounder! There's a yoga studio in Downingtown that I was thinking of visiting, mainly to check out their yoga store. I'll let you know when I go if you'd like. Will you be going to the 9th grade picnic with Amber? Or do parents generally stay away from that kind of stuff? During my 9th grade orientation, parents didnt go. But, we didn't get fed either!!!

LaurieXX!!! L&G! looks like a good workout day! Yes, 60 degrees in those costumes is much better than 100! Try to stay dry this weekend! I'm so glad you got a chance to celebrate since you were sick on your b-day. I'm not much of a drinker, but occasionally, I enjoy a drink or two.

TG!!! I have no idea why they made you change you password. If you find out, let us know. Are you still watching divorce court! LOL I totally forgot how much you enjoy that show! I agree. It's very sad! I was watching the news yesterday and today. There seems to be a play by play of every second.

AmyX!!! Oh! I love Tionesta!!! We met a man last night who used to live up near Erie and camped there. His family lives on the west coast, just visited Alberta, and came to Philly to check out Temple (his wife's alma mater) as a prospective college for his son. I love meeting new people!!! :) Oh Sweetie! Don't worry about posting personals everyday. Once my school year starts, my personals will be fewer unless I need a break that day!!! You are so blessed to not have to get those darn emissions stickers! Carol was right. It's exhortation!!! I don't think I'm very smart. I might have to farm out highschool math and science. I already farm out art and music!}( But, I don't try to look too far ahead. Little by little. I've relearned grammar up to 4th grade (despite the looks of my posts).:7

Carol!!! Thank you for the history link! I have one of Paula's coordinating the two curriculums in different ways (by MOH as primary, by SOTW as primary). I like taking history chronologically, so we'll be using MOH's chapters with SOTW added in for the twins. Which ortho do you use? Eldest dd has a team of dentists she uses for her teeth. The one who specializes with the bones is from St. Christophers. We see him at his private practice in King of Prussia instead of driving all the way out to Philly. I hear he's world renowned from leading the way of growing bones.

Cheryl, Amy & TracyX: I miss you all! Sending Amy and Tracy safe traveling vibes!

BBS, some one's at the door!
Wendy

Yesterday: Low Max"Combo's Only" Premix then "7 Blasts Only" Premix (67 min)

Today: B&G "Floorwork x 2 & Abs Only" Premix

So sorry I didn't check back in yesterday:( It's gonna be another busy day today. Chiro, school clothes shopping, bridal gift shopping, grocery shopping, I wish clothes for me shopping:D but just to say HI real quick:

SANDRAX, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!! I hop you are feeling better today. I was sad to see you down the day before your birthday. Today is a new day and the best of all it's your special day! Enjoy your cake and your presents! Do tell us what you get:)

Traci-X, I saw Huriicane Dean and thought of you right away. Oh what fun! I am glad I live on the west coast. It has been really humid here though so it's not been fun as of late. Glad you are down the path woth Tony again. I think all of the back work with him made me stand taller. Come November I'm doing it again:D Hey, when is Wendell going to take those pictures?

LaurieXX, Glad you are feeling better and life is resuming to normal aside from those wretched cramps. I have never had cramps but I'm sure my time is coming. My sisters, all 3 of them, get horrid cramps all the time. I guess I'm the lucky one:p The presentation is not done yet but I might ask all of your opinions when it is.

DebraX, Wow! Way to start the thread again!! That's about the only way I would ever be able to, if I was up late. I am not a morning person. Once the boys start school I'll have to be, but for now I'm lazy and am enjoying sleeping in:p I hope you get a little ride in today, you just have to use your new gear! Hope your DD had fun with her grandma.

Jenn, Glad to see you up with the early birds! Have fun with DD at HS orientation. At our local HS this year they started a mentor program for the ncoming freshmen. Each senior is assignes a freshmen and they show them around school and help them out for the first week. I think it's a greta idea and will probably make the freshmen a bit more comfortable starting school. Anymor RB and Snickers today? BC is a toughie but it's fun! I just did that one last week. Enjoy!

Anointed, CONGRATULATIONS!! I'll pray it's a girl for you:) Wow, 9 grandchildren when you don't even look old enough to have one! I do hope you get some better sleep tonight. This hit and miss stuff must be wearing you out:(

Swifty, Enjoy your little trip! Sounds so nice:) I am jealous hearing all the talk about those arms of yours! Maybe you can throw me some of those genetics! Have a fun weekend!!!

WendyX, Still basking in the glow of your birthday? Or is it back to business as usual? What a wonderful day and what a great DH. He's a keeper:) Wow, yoga, Cheesecake Factory and Margaritas! Sounds like a good day to me. So did you get any new woekout attire? I suppose RT was a good enough BD present but Phil is very thoughtful that way. Hope you have a good post BD day:p

Carol, Glad to know I have a partner in the ortho world:p My oldest DS is in braces and a retainer. I am glad to say his ortho is only 20 minutes away though. I do hope you get the loan stuff ironed out, that can be quite stressful. What workout are you doing today?

TracyX, I believe you get back today! Come say HI!!

AmyX, Enjoying your trip still? Don't they miss you at work? I'm sure you don't care:D

JeanetteX, Have fun in Hood River!!

Off to workout! I feel so accomplished getting this posted today:) I guess it was a little more than "real quick" :p

Nicole

Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. --John F. Kennedy

It was only a neighborhood teen looking for the boys.

I almost forgot...

That's supposed to read that my tailbone wasn't tilted enough for downward dog.

Traci-X and Debra-X: The vet put Baby on 25mg Hydroxyzine. I can already see a difference in her energy level. She seems back to normal. She's shedding less clumps and scratching less. Where would one find fish oil supplements for their dogs? Over the counter? How much do you give to you dog, Debra? My dog weighs 40 pounds. I've gotta tell the kids to stop loving her so much!:7 It's funny to hear the vet, who's ~100 pounds overweight, to carefully monitor how much my dog eats or else she'll get obese. I guess, it's not so funny.

Okay, off I go to vacuum the clumps of fur again.

Oh! Look who snuck in on me!!!!!

NicoleX!!! No workout attire for me, unless you consider a yoga mat. I hate grocery shopping. I went yesterday while the girls were at music lessons. Now, do your workout if you haven't yet!!! You have no choice since you told us you were doing it! ;-)

Go! Nicole! Go!

Ballistic Hugs!

Where oh where is our Birthday girl??? I might have to hop on a plane …

LaurieXX
Enjoy L&G! Good for you for choosing what you’ll give your ALL to! Small world! The Houston airports were closed all morning…Last night sitting outside I could see BILLIONS of planes in the sky- I thought – Wouldn’t want to be the Flight Attendants with all those angry passengers!

DebraX
Arent you a check in queen woman!I thiught you'd be sleeping soundly til at least noon! LOL on your sleep- sounds like you went back to bed and got a little shut eye. It makes for a LONG day staying up from 3am on…My poochies are on Omega 3’s as well- I’m going to call vetabout the script.

Jenn
LOL- Previewing counts as half a w/o in my world! BootCamp is FUN- Time flys as you spend little time on any one thing. Happy Picnic Day!

NicoleX
OMG I’d NEVER do the workout you did today! Can you walk? I TOTALLY agree about standing taller after X… Must be the back work. Wendells heading out to bay this weekend because he has to bring the boat home away from Dean… That means pics are Sunday night… I can start trying to get my hair right TODAY so I’ll be ready!

WendyX
What a FAB experience having someone correct your form! That would be worth the time to go…. Thanks for info on pet meds…Will call vet later.GLAD Baby is better already! LOL on color- Oh girl- I use a “master” in word that I copy/paste-

SwiftyX
GREAT JOB on your w/o woman! Thanks for such lavish feedback on www. Actually I am doing it all by my little self as I cant afford to pay my PR person any more right now… I’m using templates by Yahoo Web and just chipping away at it. NEVER worry about personals… We all get busy.

TeddyGirl
Terminator on its way next week GRANDMA!!!!!!! How cool for you guys…You HAVE to get some relief woman- sleep deprivation is an actual form of torture in the military…OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Hope I caught everyone... Shall see you all a bit later...No bay for me this weekend its too wet!

Happy Friday X'es!

Today is GS Legs. I might add on some Core Max if I feel like it... Thankfully today is a LOT quieter than yesterday :D

SandraX -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope you get to eat lots of cake and "naughty" goodies!!

TraciX -- Yup, the loan's thankfully all worked out now :D :D :D The car is paid for and all is well!

Amy -- While I LOVE homeschooling, I realize it's not for everyone :) To each her own.

Nicole -- My DS has already had a palate expander. He was born with a cleft lip & palate and has special ortho needs, which is why I drive so far. There are plenty of docs closer by who have no idea of his special dental needs.

Wendy -- I'm glad to hear you had a GREAT bday dinner with Phil :D Your yoga class sounds fun!! I'm also enjoying studying history chronologically, something *I* never got to do in school. We use SOTW mostly with adding in MOH, but I have weeks scheduled that are just MOH to get more biblical history in there, too (something else I never had in school -- secular history and biblical history meshed together into one). I take Nathan to CHOP for his ortho b/c his entire surgical team is there (7 docs). They're the best plastic surgeons around and this ortho works only for the plastic surgery team and sees only patients with clefts. She's wonderful and really knows her stuff. I found someone local to me who trained with her, but the insurance company wouldn't even consider working with him (shame for them, as CHOP charged 3x as much for the palate expander) and now we're just keeping him there for the continuity in care and especially since his current doc has knowledge of his case. I think it's great that you can see your doc closer to you. I wish our doc had a closer office, too. LOL about farming out art and music. When will you be starting your school year?

Ok, off to workout now... I hope you all have a great day!

Carol

Ah! I forgot something else!!! Maybe, I should focus on being more centered!

Debra-X! I finally took a peek at your new pictures on picturetrail. I LOVE the family picture. What a good looking family!!!! You're dd is gorgeous! I see being locked up in the attic or basement in her future!}( ;-) Looks like she'll have a ton of suitors when she's a little older. You'll still be in Kickbox form when that time arrives!:7

Sandra-X!! I saw your post on OD! LOL on making your own b-day cake. Love it! I can't wait till I see the pictures. I didn't have any b-day cake yesterday. But, dd's art teacher topped a mini pumpkin/walnut/raison bread loaf with a lit birthday candle yesterday. He cracks me up! I sometimes wonder if we continue with art lessons due to being able to chat with him or his artistic talents.:7 It's probably both! Have fun tonight without the kids! You deserve some fun alone time with dh!!!

Okay! I've procrastinated long enough. Where's that vacuum?

Ballistic Hugs!
Wendy

Forgot some more stuff! ARG!

Traci: Before you call your vet, I wanted to tell you what my vet had to say about the different meds. First in line are antihistamines. They have no side effects, but aren't as strong as the other meds. If antihistamines doesn't work, he sometimes recommends a round of steroids. Just like humans, steroids effect other parts of the body and can't be used long term. So, he suggested another type of medicine (I forget the name). He recommends the third type for dogs who need more help than antihistamines provide and can't take steroids long term. It doesn't have the same side effects as steroids. The only draw back is the expense of this type of med. If you want to know the name of it, I can give him a call. Hopefully, all Sandy will need is a little antihistamine to help her itchiness!

Carol: I didn't learn history chronologically or with biblical events/people either. It's eye opening to see how everything fits together. I love it! We took eldest dd to chop when she was little because of her teeth. They thought it was related to some serious genetic conditions. Thankfully, it wasn't. Anyhow, she was only a year old at the time. One of the dentists, Dr. Maya (?) didn't take an X-ray. She just checked for a cleft palate. Dd just had a high arch. She recommended we take her to a dentist in Paoli. This dentist didn't have the equipment for her size. He was an old timer. So, when dd was 5, we took her to a local dentist. He performed her first X-ray. That's when we got the news that she didn't have any adult teeth except for one. And, that one was shaped conically. I think I bawled for a week solid. Now, it's no biggie. We're dealing with it. I'm not sure how much our insurance will cover. I forsee having to get a lot of loans after she hits puberty for dental implants. Till then, we have to make sure her jaw grows enough to support implants (secondary teeth stimulate jaw growth). Also, her dentists have to keep bonding her teeth to make them appear larger like adult teeth. Thankfully, her primary teeth are strong unlike the rare others who have similar conditions. And, thankfully she was able to lose one baby tooth. It's a huge psychological impact when kids don't have any teeth to lose. All her doctors comment that it's a good thing we homeschool because kids can be cruel. I have to tell them that's not why we homeschool. LOL

Okay! Now I see the vacuum!!!!!!

Ballistic Hugs!!!

Hi Gang!

I've been out of the loop so long, I'm just going to dive right in.

DebraX - Thank you for your good wishes on the OD. I hope you got some rest and are feeling rejuvenated....Oh, I see you're up again. Feel better? Goodness, school starts early for your kids. Do they get a long break in the middle of the year? There are 37 candles on my cake this year. By this age my own mother had 2 kids in their mid-teens. Having kids later in life sure does keep you feeling young. My funk this week was from pure exhaustion and feeling overwhelmed. Too many nights of poor sleep, and my house looking like a bomb blast hit it. I spent all of yesterday dealing with the house, and have managed to sneak in a few naps, and feel much better now. I'm going to have Eoin lick ice-cream off my hips in a bit, and then have a shower, after which I shall probably be happier than a pig in a mudbath.

TraciX - Ahhhhh, THANK YOU for the song! You're so sweet!! Geez, I would LOVE to have a party that you could all attend. Now that would be fun! How are you liking your redo of P90X phase 3? Are you doing all the P90X workouts, or just the weight work? Now that the bay house is Sandy-accessible, are you making plans to spend more time there? Oooh, I'll go look at your website today.

Jenn - Bootcamp is fun. Love, love the core work in that one. Is this your eldest child who is starting grade nine? I never realized until just recently that when you have kids, you get to relive all your school years ;( I'm NOT looking forward to sending my kids to high school.

LaurieXX - thanks for the well wishes. They're being tossed back and forth like a rubber ball around here. I think Amy's next. The incessant weight changes irritate me about PLB, too. But when all is said and done, it's a great workout.

Anointed - From the looks of your workout today, your tooth infection appears to be well under control. Have fun with all those push ups tonight! The mine situation is so sad. I was very upset to hear about the 3 deaths this morning. And they still don't even know if the 6 underground are dead or alive. Those poor families. Yay, a new grandchild!!!! Congratulations! How's the progress with the job-search?

SwiftAmyX - Awww, thanks for the song. You were in perfect key, and in perfect harmony with TraciX! I was very pleased to read your comments about the road trip, and how you've made a new group of friends. I hope to actually meet a fellow Catheite some day, too. Enjoy your camping trip! I love camping.

NicoleX - I like that way of doing LowMax. Cathe put it in one of her rotations I did a while ago. Creative, isn't it? Enjoy *ahem* the floorwork & abs premix. You'll be toasty this afternoon! Thank you for the b-day wishes. I'm feeling much better today. My present was my new ipod I bought a few weeks ago. I used b-day money I knew I would receive today to pay for the ipod. Not sure if I'll get presents from anyone else. My brother seems to remember some years, and not others. Maybe I'll download some music from iTunes, as a present to myself :) Have fun with all your shopping today!

WendyX - Well, that Phil is just da bomb. What a wonderful b-day present for you. You cracked me up about being more jealous of his flexibility than his getting hit on by the instructer.

Oh look at that. TraciX has been back 3 times for personals, and I'm still on Post #1. While I was typing all this I had 2 phone calls. One was from a friend asking if we wanted to go to Jasper for the weekend. DH wanted to do a bike race on Sunday, so don't know if he will agree to go. If he decides to go, my next 3 days suddenly went from peacefully calm (and allow me to get caught up on things), to crazy busy (and put me into playing catch-up next week). We haven't been to Jasper in ages, it would be lovely to go. But the work entailed in going.....

This morning I did GS Biceps, and Circuit Max. I haven't showered yet, but am sitting in my yoga clothes, ready to break into downward dog with Eoin at any minute. I want me some b-day nectar!!

JeanetteX is gone until Tuesday, right? And TracyX is gone for a couple more weeks, isn't she? Have a great day everyone!

SandraX

Hi Carol! You posted while I was typing. Thanks for the good wishes. Enjoy GS Legs and a CM. The Hardcore Series is such a good set of workouts. I'm glad you and Jenn have joined our group.

Cheers,
SandraX
