Xers........Another Monday...........

Hi all,

I just finished Cathe's added butt/leg workout and then 90 minutes of yoga. If this doesn't get my legs in shape, nothing will. My entire core is sore from the pull/chin ups yesterday. That's good!

Debra - My heart goes out to you. There is nothing worse than marital problems. I hope that all goes well and you get your situation resolved once and for all. Lingering and limbo land are not good.

Sandra - Do you think that the fatigue could possibly be coming from the added yoga? It's much more demanding than you think; especially once you can really work the poses. I just did 90 minutes of Fluid Power. I'm in heaven. I also feel really good; both physically and mentally when I do yoga regularly. Nothing can beat the feeling.

Amy - Glad to see you are around. Squatting 110 lbs is great. We finally got a sort of rack. I can't get nearly that much over my head, so the rack really helped. I'm not back up to what I was pre-herniated disc though. I'm taking it easy this time.

Laurie - Sorry the Faire had to close. I guess there is a first for everything.

Hi to anyone else I missed. Nicole and Cherly, sounds like all is well. 20/20 Hmmm.... sounds nice. I wore my contacts overnight on our trip and it was nice to wake up and be able to see.

Off to shower and fix some sort of food; pot stickers for everyone else, and salad and fish for me.

It's Sprinting To Weight Loss, by Selene Yeager, certified personal trainer (hey, our own Traci could have actually written this!)

It's a very good article, and unfortunately it's not up on the Oprah Mag website. But PM me anyone who wants a photocopy and I'll mail it to you.

Hi everyone!

I'm back from a WONDERFUL ladies getaway that included mostly cycling and walking for me, windsurfing for 4 in our 7 lady group, great dinners out, wonderful coffee and snacks in the morning, fun shopping, and just plain good womanly comaraderie!!!!! I already transferred pictures from my camera to my computer, but need to transfer a some to my Picture Trail. Wish I was home tomorrow to do that. Anyway, I couldn't have asked for a better little trip at all. Hood River and the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, with wonderful orchards of pears and apples everywhere. We also hiked around a lake called Lost Lake.

I just got done reading all of your posts since Wednesday night and not even try to do personals. Big HUGS to Debra, hang in there girl. My heart goes out to you and your DD. Also, Happy, Happy, Happy birthday to Wendy and Sandra.

Wendy, I'll try to answer your questions tomorrow on cadence on your bike riding. Hopefully, I can help you out. Our riding was fabulous and filled with many, many photo ops of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood. I've been riding pretty intensely this summer and definitely needed to put some more fun back into my riding. It was just what the dr. ordered for me!

Have to get to bed and will be back on tomorrow. Not sure what workout I will do. Have to think about it...
