Good evening,
Good, busy day at work today. Am really excited about Cathe's newest on the blog!!! Awesome!!!
Wendy, I like Eoin's voice and all, but I like the more rugged types. Now Sam Elliot, Tom Selleck ... Can't picture either one of them doing yoga. Funny that when we were younger, my mom would make a turkey and put it in a low oven (seems like it was slightly over 200 degrees) and cook it all morning and into the afternoon. It was always moist and we never got sick. My sister and I kid about it now, how we escaped salmonella or food poisoning I don't know. The turkey was always moist... Mom doesn't cook like that any longer tough.
Laurie, my DH and I are so bad. Our dogs sleep with us every night. Yep, they are up on the couch too. I love Christi Taylor's Fab Four. I still think she is top notch. Her workouts are more about the fun and some exercise too. My last golf class was last night. The prison priest came in to see me today. He arranged for a lesson for he and I on Veterans Day with a Lieutenant here at the prison (great golfer, hoping he's a good teacher) that I already know. I'm excited. We'll also go out and play 9 holes. I think golf is playable thru the winter here, if you can wear enough clothes. Guess the ground gets pretty frozen if there is no snow so the balls bounce more. There is always going down to the valley to play where it is warmer. We'll see...
Traci, were you thinking Rush Hour was the movie called "Crash"? DH and I started to watch that one and didn't finish it. I thought Rush Hour was a Charlie Chan movie. Guess the one that Wendy is referring to is a game. Thanks for the link to the Amy site. I'll check it out after posting. Sugar vs. too much Splenda. Think I will try sugar tomorrow as I'm thinking I can get away with a lesser amount.
Sandra, sorry about 4 days early on TTOM. I am so far extremely regular. Next week for me. Sigh again. Sorry about the babysitter cancellation.
Swifty, sounds like a real turkey fiasco in '05. What a shame. How does Eoin look? My DH loves, loves, loves Tombstone and we watch it over and over. Val Kilmer is superb in that one. Can you suggest some other movies that you like him in?
Anointed, been there and done that with the binging on cake. If it's here, I'll eat it. Sweets have been my weakness lately. I like your saying about the new day and different boat. You'll ride, I know. Fitnessfreak has been missing from the Hardcores. Not sure why. I'll have to check today and see if she's back.
Nicole, oh please go easy with your back. Does your dr. suggest any exercises to help? 4X a week!!! My gosh woman! You are making us look like nuns! Maybe all that frequency is what put your back out!!! LOL!!! I don't expect we'll hear much from you for a while once your DH comes home. When will that be? The elbow is better but front raises for the shoulder are definitely out of the question. I just do something else laterally.
Debra, glad the Social Security worker could give you a laugh today. Bet they get exposed to everything under the sun. I have never been to PF Chang's. What am I missing? Glad you could go out for breakfast this morning. My absolute favorite meal to eat out. By the way, where has Amy been?
Got to run,
Jeanette
