I agree totally with Nicole(1 more day toX)- Seeing all the pics of Xers yesterday left me feeling like we had all met!! How fabulous!

Today is Plyo X to end my week and hopefully Yoga… Never got it in yesterday …

I broke down and purchased the Turbulance Training E-book package from Chris Ballantyne. I am overwhelmed with all the supplemental ebooks he provides as well. His program intrigues me and is so complete…. Color photos /descriptions of every single exercise required. Its 6-8 months of cycles so your muscles never grow too accustomed. I tried emailing just one of the ebooks to you yesterday Tracy (Body Weight 4- week program) but since its all “zipped” together yahoo wouldn’t let me send a file that big-***EDITED*** TRACYX I Got it to send this morning.... (The TT is zipped that is & I cant figure out how to separate it) ANYWAY!!! After 3 more weeks of what I’m doing I think I’m going to go for it and freestyle awhile. I’ll keep ya posted.

TracyX : OMG you are itty bitty! Tell me you adopted those boys! LOLOLOL You are just lovely! Thank you so much for posting…. Now- Can I request a photo album of you in all those CRAZY yoga poses??? LOL ***A day of piddling sounds perfect for your first vacation day! Its sometimes hard to stop the wheel turning isn’t it? *** Glad you got DM completed! I really like that one but need to do it backwards as those last 3 drills are my favs but I’m too pooped to enjoy them fully! ***Prayers continue for FIL & family.

TraciX - Just you and I so far? Oh my. Everyone must be busy doing their workout thang. Drills 3-6 are my favs of DM; 1&2 not so much. I'm glad to get them over with at the start, then I can "get into" the last 4. This Chris Ballantyne thing - never heard of it. What is it? Will you be doing only his workouts for the next 6 months?? Will you be starting a new check in, and do I have to buy this package too and join your new check in, just to chat with you?

TracyX - Thanks for finally posting a pic! Good thing those kids don't come out full grown! You must feel itty-bitty next to them. You have a lovely smile, and look very happy in that photo. I guess that's because your boys are with you, huh?

Anointed - Thanks to you too for posting a pic! Lovely! I can't believe you're as old as you say you are. I'd never have guessed that.

I'm going to go do Low Impact Circuit (yay!), then come back later for more chatting. Should be a pretty relaxed day, finally.

Morning:)

I had a pretty good night sleep, altho, I woke serveral times. I'm all ready to hit my TM for an hour jog, that should feel good.

TraciX: goooodddd morrrnningg :) What workout are you doing today? I aslo plan to work my legs, I shall see, lots to do today, cleaning & washing ARGH....but its needed.

Hi all,

My what a nice chatty group already this morning. Ttom finally came last night. I am always miserable when I skip, which isn't often. Now maybe my bloating will go away.

I forgot to comment yesterday. The stretch at the end of DM is pathetic.

I'm not sure what is on tap for today. It's either legs/eliptical or a bike ride. Then some yoga of course. It depends on what time we are planning to leave on Tuesday and whether I can get a workout in.

I have to get ready to go on Tuesday. We don't eat out much, so I have lots of food to pack and plan. DH isn't going, so I have to leave food for him too.

Traci- Something new? You know I did a freestyle approach for a long time. After I get burnt out on Cathe, and vacation is over, I may try one again. I'm hoping that Tony's new stuff will be out by late fall and I can start an X rotation again. I'll be ready by then. If he doesn't do something with the lower part, I'm going to do my own again. Is there a website I can go to to see what you are doing?

Sandra - You're up early. After doing DM yesterday I was thinking that maybe I should incorporate one of those types of workouts once a week; after I get back from vacations.

Annointed - KM and MIS in one day was a lot. I have to admit that I HATE those KM drills and the leg conditioning reminds me of floorwork, which I hate too. It is easier if you can split them AM/PM. When I do legs and then cardio it is much easier not to do them back to back. MIS is a good workout, although sort of dated, it still is very functional and a good complement to some of the newer stuff.

I have to find some information for my Mom on the internet. She still has dial up and it is so slow and she's not very patient with searching. I'll be back later.

Hey, gang! Got off of work early, yea!!! Talked to Mom and Dad on the way home, they went away for their anniversary last weekend. WOW, I can't believe that it's been 40 yrs already!!! Dad is doing really well with his treatments.

Traci- MORE???? I'll have to look into this one, as well.

Oh, the DOMS are laying in good this morning. I did lower body yesterday, so #70 stiff legged dead lifts, #90 dead lifts, #70 front squats, #50 static lunges, and calf raises for good measure. I also did some roll-in with the ball.

Sandra- I would love to come to Canada to work, but you'd have to adjust the thermostat in the winter....I'm too much of a southern bug for those below zero temps!!!

TG- It's GREAT to finally be able to put a face to the name(s)! You are gorgeous, although I agree with Traci that the standing next to the tax filing cabinet leaves something to be desired! LOL!!!

Finished TM I did an hour, nice steady pace. I forgot how much I love running, think I should stick with my TM, is doesn’t work my butt as much as walking. Sometime today I’m going to do Legs & Glutes or B&G.

I don’t think MIS & KM was too much. I do agree with you guys doing both workouts back to back was much. I usually split all my workouts am/pm, but sometimes a girl got to do what a girl got to do x(

I’m waiting for maintenance dude to come so he can show me how to take my windows out, so I can clean them. Then off too laundry mat to wash bedding stuff.

Amy: Thank you, you are to kind. I am SO very impressed with your stats, you go girl. Nice work:)

Tracie: Now you know I have to check out your new toy, don’t you:- My sister drink a whole pot of coffee, me only 2 cups. Good morning Ladies,

It's been a long night. FIL kept getting up. It was his first night in the hospital bed they put in the sun room. So, I would wake Phil up to help FIL move or see if he needed anything. FIL is falling down alot and uses either a walker or wheelchair. Right now, he's blissfully snoring away in his LazyBoy recliner.:)

Big day of cooking ahead! I'll wait till FIL is awake for the day.

Tracy-X!!! You look nothing like I imagined. Well, I thought you would look older with darker hair. You are so CUTE and TEENY TINY!!!!!!!!!! I'm beyond jealous!! Your boys look like cool kids, um... I mean, handsome men!!!;-) Thanks for finally breaking down and sharing your picture with us!

Traci-X!!! I can't believe you got TT!:7 I'm jealous!!!! I've heard wonderful things about it. Tell us more! Isn't it expensive? How dare you consider leaving this check-in!!!! I'm besides myself thinking I'll have to buy TT just to force you to chat with me everyday.:7

Coffee's here! Phil went out and located a DD Coffee for me. :) Good thing I have some coffee to drown out all my seething jealousy!;-)

Plyo X as produced DONE! That is still by far the absolute greatest/effective leg workout in the planet! I am so in love with Tony & Kids in this one…. I ADORE Pam- she starts looking like me about ½ way thru…. I LOVE her for that!

Your stats are just incredible woman…. Are you not suffering any knee/back pain from those INSANE weights?

COME CLEAN MY WINDOWS TOO! On yoga- yep- as we age we gotta do it my friend… It has helped me with sagging 40-ish posture and flexibility- even the few days a week I fit it in.

TT Deluxe is 70.00….. It’s a business expense for me…. I can really use this one with my clients as it’s a variety of body weight, DB, BB, Cable training… That was actually the final push that I needed- I was reading some blog about it and many of the people who use it also use the format with their PT clients…. Why re-invent the wheel? I shall not leave Xer check in even if I’m the only one left here…. I’ll be celebrating my 85th birthday here!

Off to amuse DH- LORDY I wish he had just gone to bay!

I always enjoy Kenpo, so the fact that this isn't the last one is o.k. The boys are still sleeping but I'll be kicking butt soon:)

Traci-X, Yes, one more workout until recovery week!!! I am getting so excited! Most of all because I totally finish the day before my birthday then I get to do a new workout for my birthday:D:) PlyoX, huh? All this talk of Tony must be making you miss him:p I'm glad you had fun with it, it is a great butt and leg burner. I really think it helps with the jumps in Cathe's DVD's. Yoga will be good for a re-lengthening. Have fun amusing your DH! LOL!!!

SandraX, I wish I could do LIC but unfortunately I traded it for both Gym Styles. I haven't replaced it yet but I thought that was a wise decision. Now I can buy LIC with my pre-order and still be ahead of the game:) How was your cake decorating class? I am anxious to take a few culinary classes soon. You are spurring me on!

TracyX, Make sure to take lots of pictures on your trip so I can tell if it's worth the journey:) I know you will have a fabulous time. You are so good packing food and being prepared. I have had a few bad days as of late and I tell you, it's not worth it. The food doesn't taste good enough for the impact it has on your body and face!

Amy, You're an animal! ^5 for the workout! I could never use that much weight. Here I thought I was so tough using 40#. Happy 40th to your mom and dad :D

Anointed, I am amazed with how young you look. You don't look a day over 35 and I'm serious! You kicked butt on your workouts yesterday so I'm glad you got on the TM for a change today. Have fun cleaning those windows:D

WendyX, You are so good with your FIL. I know he will be well taken care of. You'll be home soon enough working out to your heart's content:D

Thanks for all of the nice comments about my picture. That one is Xmas before last, but I still look basically the same. I'll try to get a more current one soon.

Nicole - I do pack food and it saves us tons of money plus finally the boys are past wanting to eat junk food and realize the value of eating better. It was a long time coming, but perserverance on my part paid off. I watch just about everything that I put in my mouth. I may have screwed up my metabolism years ago because it seems like I can't eat any extra or it goes to all the wrong places, then again, maybe it is just age.

Annointed - Legs again today? Where is a picture of those legs. They must look good. Two cups of java is all for me in the AM, but I do have a cup later in the day. Cleaning windows? I just raked a bunch of mulch in the backyard. That may be the extent of my cleaning today.

Traci - I've looked at several sites like that one that use all body weight exercises. I'm going to print out that file and thanks for sending it. That looks like something that I could do on vacation. I really think that there are some huge benefits to body weight exercises. They get every little muscle and aren't so isolated which I think leads to more overall functional fitness.

Wendy - Sorry about FIL. My FIL doesn't ever sleep through the night and then there is always the risk of falls, which have happened on more than one occasion. You just can't watch them every minute and you can't catch them if they fall, even if they are right next to you.

Later, I'm going to do B&G as produced, without the core, and then 20 minutes on the eliptical, plus yoga.

Hi, everyone! Happy Saturday!
I've had a heck of a time getting going today. Got a hang-up call at 4 a.m. (a kid from Portland, I'm sure, trying to find the SD through the house line now that DD's cellphone is no longer here!) :(
Then running partner called at 5:20 and bailed. So I crawled back to bed until 9:30 a.m. and finally eeked out 1/2 of KPC, KPC abs, and 1/2 of Legs and Glutes. Trying to work through all my neglected workouts before Cathe's new ones arrive. It'll do for today.

Traci, the Trubulance book sounds like a fun upper! I bet you will enjoy it for a long time to come.

TracyX, yes, love your picture!! You are at itty bitty fun looking momma, with a couple of good looking sons. They're lucky. How fun to put a face with your postings. Grrrr on TTOM. No fun.

Sandra, love, love, love that LIC. Good for you!

Amy, wow, great workout yesterday. Enjoy that DOMS. Sounds like you've got it good. Can you sit on the toilet? (ha, ha!)

I'm headed for a quiet day with my Russian son who has been actually doing well with the stepkids here. He just does his own thing. They're all off with DH, so I'll take him out to do something today. Not sure what. Will have to pick up some groceries.

Kenpo Done! A bit of bad eating today. I tend to lose all self control when TTOM is close. I already feel it in my stomach.

Anointed, What a worker you are! Saturdays are my cleaning days too. Oh the fun:p

Annointed, if you want you can come and clean my house. It never gets completely clean.

Nicole- Ttom was late for me, 25 days, and I had that no control eating feeling for 25 days. It was absolutely horrible. I never snack until those days then I can't control it.

I finished B&G in it's entirety for the first time. I tried as hard as I could to squeeze the butt. The workout was a challenge after doing DM yesterday. I didn't do anything else. I have that 1st day ttom worn out feeling, so I'm calling it quits. I've developed an ever so slight eye twitch which signals I probably need to back off just a little, but I will hit it hard tomorrow and Monday, then I'll back off :)
