Hi ya Peeps!

I'm up and ready to work out! Today calls for a B&G premix but I am considering doing tmrw's work out instead which is upper body and abs. It makes no difference if I switch the 2 days around so I'll see what I feel like doing...

No time for personals. Just wanted to get us started.

I'll be back after work though!:D

Just thought I'd stop by to let you know I won't be on the boards very much, so I'll check in occasionally, if you don't mind. I guess that's how it already is. :eek: I'm trying to boost my personal training and Boot Camp business so my extra computer time is going towards that.

Good morning, ladies!

Quickly popping in to say that LIS/Shoulders, Core, Calves is done! Minus the calves, though, because I needed to shave a few minutes off as I was running late :eek: Loved the step routine. I definitely need to do it a few more times before I totally get it though, and I suspect that it'll become a better calorie burner once I have it down.

Wendy, liking those a.m. workouts, are ya? I have no choice but to do them in the morning before work. It's nice to have them out of the way, but some mornings it's torture to get my butt out there!

Hi ladies,

My legs are a sore, but not as sore as last week. I also have some nice soreness in my back from the assisted pullups. We did more walking lunges in class last night too!

This morning is PS CST and I should have time for some ab work.

Jen-Glad you are liking the 4DS w/o's. The step w/o's are fun, I just have a little trouble with them from time to time. I use an 8" step and that helps up the calorie burn on these shorter w/o's.

Angie-Glad you were able to pop in last night. Get those virus def's updated ASAP. Only 2 weeks and you'll be done with the X-congratulations.

Jacque-I'm looking for a bench/squat rack. Have you found one you think will work? I'd love to take a look at it. A true squat rack would work great but they are pretty expensive and would take up a lot of room in my workout area. I think Jerod's wrestling season was only about 7 weeks long. He did start practice 1 week late but he does like it and he wants me to look for some wrestling camps.

Dee Dee-what workout(s) do you have planned?

I need to get myself downstairs and get that workout goin'! I have a meeting this morning so I can't be late.

Morning Ladies

Well I visted w/the neighbors .. it was nice .. not as sad as I was thinking. VBF had visitation last night and was kinda tough on her .. but her @$$hole EX showed up and ticked her off so I think anger over him trumped her grief!! LOL .. bless her heart .. her EX is quite a number - he was abusive (REAL abusive) but in public he acts like a saint .. just a real jerk!! I would love to get my hands on him for sure .. lol!!! so today is both funerals I will be leaving early and PIA is actually here :eek: guess she is waiting to call in tommorrow!! :mad:

Ang .. SOOOOOO glad everything is ok!!! You had me worried girl!! Get that virus update going .. we missed you!! SNOW .. wow probably really feels like the holidays huh?? It is dreary here ... cold and wet. supposed to warm up Thanksgiving day .. gggrrrrrrr .... the house will be hot w/the all day cooking!!!

Wendy ..WOOHOO on completion of an entire rotation .. kudos to you. My exercise ADD is in full swing .. I am not really intersted in anything . . sick to death of step .. once personal things settle down I am going to start my running back and the heavy gym work!!! {I think}

Di ... YOWZA on the leg work yesterday .. girl can you move today?? You are inspiring me to get back to my heavy workouts .. but not sure I can muster your weights ... LOL!!!

Jen .. the choreography in 4 day split does take a bit to get used to .. glad you are enjoying them!!!! I love the weight work in the 4 day split MORE than the cardio .. loL!!

Jacque .. New England Clam Chowder.. yummy .. that is one thing my dad used to love is clam chowder!! He never really like a lot of food but LOVED clam chowder .. have not thought of that in a long time!! Hope your crud will be moving on soon .. DH still has the phlem too!!

Shirl .. good luck w/the PT and boot camp biz ... I am sure you will do wonderful .. check in when you can .. meanwhile we will be sending positive success vibes your way!!

Well it looks like DH has got someone to work Thanksgiving day for him .. but he will have to work extra hours on the weekend .. NIGHTS again :confused: OH WELL .. I am not complaining as long as he gets Thanksgiving w/us!!

today's workout agenda was gymstyle legs (done) haven't done that one in forever. forgot how tough it is:eek: and later on a 30 min run.

Hi Girls.

No time for personals at the moment.

Just wanted to report that I got in Overall Legs B&G premix this morning thru the inner thigh ankleweight work. I was so happy to get on the floor WITHOUT the weighted vest on! LOL I plan to do the rest this afternoon once DS goes down for his nap.

Gotta go pick him up now so I'll BBL!
 
No go on the rest of my work out. I got an attack of the crud and was lying down or napping for most of the afternoon. :(

I have some cleaning up to do around here and then dinner to deal with. I promise to try and get back with personals before the night is thru though.

Another coughing fit this AM so no workout - not feeling too bad right now so maybe a short run on the TM after work? < < < crossing fingers > > > I need the stress relief ! :eek: Really just a bit busy, but miss working out and the endorphins, ya know.

Wendy - nice workout, LOL about the vest ! I am a wimp and haven't tried it yet. Perhaps next week when I am dying for a good sweatfest. Sorry the nap made you congested - darn sicknesses. We finally have rain for a couple of days and I sure don't need it. Have been adding so much clothing that I feel I can't breathe, but want to stay warm. Enjoy the remainder of the evening.

Shirl- wonderful news about the classes - yes, better to spend your computer time on your business as you know we are always here welcoming you when you have time. Best of Luck !

Jen - GOOOO 4DS ! LIS is a great cardio - I am still having fun with some of her step routines on those DVD's. Can't wait to hear about tomorrow's workout !

Diana - good to hear the legs weren't as fried this week. Sometimes it seems the walking lunges will make things worse, but I think it helps to use them when they are sore, to an extent.

There was a weight bench with the stands detached at Walmart last time I looked. Seems it was about $110 or so. The one at Sports Authority had the stands attached and they were too far apart and if I remember right, you couldn't move the bench out to stand between them. I'll check Wally World next time I am there, or actually it may have been online also. It was possibly Gold's Gym brand?

Laura - so glad things are a bit better than yesterday. And HAPPY for you DH will be there on Thurs. ! Yee Haw ! The chowder sure hit the spot last night - brought some to work for lunch and added some broccoli for 'greens'. Yummy on a rainy day !

Dee Dee - GSL left me sore for days last week. Good and bad I guess. I am seeing more definition from the last rotation and then last week. Hope it stays while I am taking a break. I like running a bit afterward too as I feel it helps the soreness stay at bay. Hope you can walk tomorrow !

Angie - I am thinking you must have checked in after me last night since Laura mentioned you in her post. Will hop over there to check it out. May BBL or catch you tomorrow.
 
Hello.

Dinner was easy. I was prepared to cook when DH said he wanted eggs and corned beef hash for dinner. YAY me! Very easy meal. I made him and DS eggs and since I don't like 'em I had a salad with some tuna on top. :)

Jacque: I was LOL'ing at your comment about my actually completing a rotation. I deserve it so I don't mind. :D It's so strange how my coughing is lately. I only cough a tiny bit for the most part but then once or twice a day I have these major fits where I feel like I could hurl at any moment! :eek: In addition to that I developed a sore throat overnight and felt like the fever was coming back this afternoon. BLAH! I hope you feel better soon. Stay warm girl! You can always strip if you need to! ;):D Hope you were able to squeeze in that run after work today.

Sunny: I haven't done GS legs in it's entirety in ages. I've only done 3 days of the rotation so far so I can't really comment on it as of yet. I am enjoying having something written to follow these days even though I do not follow it to a T.

Laura: Looks like I gave you my exercise ADD for the moment. Enjoy it!:D

Diana: Hope you had enough time to get your work out in this morning and still get to work on time. Enjoying the leg DOMS again? :)

Jen: I don't have too hard of a time getting up in the morning but getting moving beyond the computer chair and my cup of java can be tough. I can't imagine having to go out in the cold too! YIKES! :eek: Anyway, I am definately enjoying getting the work outs done first thing...or atleast getting most of it done. It's such a nice feeling to not have that hanging over my head when I get home.

Shirl: Pop in whenever you can. You are always welcome here no matter how much or how little you can stop by. Good luck getting more business! :D

Angie - well congrats on getting a virus so you got more accomplished ! ;) I sooooo understand about spending too much time on the computer. I can waste hour after hour (but sometimes it is productive like coming here). I rarely hit the OD forums any more 'cuz I'd rather check in here and Xercise !:eek:

Thanks for the well wishes on the 'yuck'. I guess it will subside eventually - I am feeling better, not as tired and a little more energetic.

I'm am off to hit the TM in just a few . . . :p

Wendy - nice easy dinner - fabtabulous for you. I am thinking for me it is the coughing fits after I have been lying prone. Usually bad in the AM and when I settle down on the couch to catch my evening TV to lull me to sleep. I have the same coughing 'fits' as you. Forgot to use a couple of pillows to elevate my chest a bit last night. In fact, I'm gonna go throw them in the way RIGHT NOW so I don't forget tonight !

See y'all in the AM ! Got hors d'ouevers to make for the appetizer 'potluck' at work tomorrow. Think I'll take some to the other site where my plant manager (who has a receding hairline) is pulling his hair out because our newest machine is down (we make boxes) and we can't run them on the other 3 machines - ARGH ! In this economy it is not good.
