Quick good morning to get us started! I have to get DS off to school and then I'll be back since I'm off today. :)

K, I'm back.

Well I set my alarm for 5am this morning with the intentions of getting B&G out of the way uber early. I ended up just rolling over. My back was hurting and B&G + a backache doesn't sound like a good combo to me! LOL I'll see how I feel in a little while. Hopefully I can get it done at some point today. :)

I'm still fightin' this bug I have. Still coughing and intermittently feeling like dog-doo. I felt fine all weekend so I figured I was beating it but now I'm not so sure. I'm thinkin' about a visit to the doc just to be on the safe side since this has been going on for 1.5 to 2 weeks already! In addition, DS had bronchitis so for all I know, I could have it too! :eek:

Ang: Good job gettin S&A and ARX done! Part of my lack of motivation to do another round of the X is the fact that the work outs are so danged long! I know I could do the X+ as they are shorter but I just don't want to for some reason. LOL Sounds like you had a busy day y'day. I noticed you left out the details of your dinner out. Is there a reason for this, missy? :p My friend rescheduled the dance classes after all so we were supposed to go out to eat last night instead. He flaked out and although I was disappoint I was also kinda glad cause I had lunch out with DH the day before so another meal out would NOT have been good for the ol' waistline, ya know? :rolleyes: I ended up having a yummy salad and a fat free grilled cheese sandwich for dinner last night...a much better option!;)

Guess that's all for now. DS is tucked away at school so I have the day to myself. Aaaah. Since I'm not working out right now (hopefully later though!) I should probably do some housework. I'm actually pretty well caught up on laundry for once so I don't have to do that today! YAY! :D

Wendy- your cold sounds just like the one i recently went thru. i have never cold last as long at that one did. 2 weeks:mad: everytime i thought i was getting better i felt bad again esp. at night. i hope you feel better soon! so sorry your friend flaked on the salsa lessons.

today's workout was CC #6!! what a workout;)

Good morning Wendy and all who follow!

No workout for me today. I needed a rest, so I slept in until almost six. It was quite nice.

Wendy, I hope you kick that bug soon! I hate feeling under the weather. I've also been fighting a little something...don't know what exactly, but I have felt for days like a cold is coming on with some achiness, sniffles, and a general blah feeling. It hasn't hit me full force yet, and I'm hoping it doesn't! That played a large part in making today a rest day. Rest is gooooooood ;) Enjoy your day to yourself today!

Sunny: Great job with CC#6! Sean knows how to work ya! That's for sure! ;) No worries re my flakey friend. It's just par for the course with him. I have learned not to count on any plans we make until they are actually happening. :p We had a big blow-out over the summer because he stood me up big time and I was PIST!!! Ever since then I've taken any plan with him with a grain of salt. If it happens, great. If not, no biggie. It can still be quite annoying but I try not to let it bother me cause I know what he's like. :rolleyes:
 
Hey Jen! I think Ang is right when she said we are just passing a bug around this place! Who knew germs could be passed through a computer screen! :p Glad you slept in this morning also! Now go get yer work done so you can come back later and hang out with us! :D
 
Oh, btw girls, I think I've finally decided what to do next! I had printed out FitnessFreak's Get Ready for Summer 2008 Rotation a while back cause I liked the looks of it. I have every work out in the rotation so with the exception of subbing in runs for some cardio, I can do it as written. I'd rather do that then work out of a book right now. It's easier on the brain at 5am! LOL

Anyone wanna join me?? :D
 
Good morning (Friday for me as far as work is concerned ;) )

Up and at 'em with Low Max this AM. Felt sluggish but kept on pluggin' away. Made it through and feel good now.

Jacque: Great job with LM this morning! Wish I could say the same for B&G but I don't think it's gonna happen today. :(

Just finished watching 2 episodes of Little House on the Prairie. I've always liked that show. It always makes me cry. I'm such a sap! :rolleyes:

Off to take a nap. I feel pretty yucky and my back is still hurtin'. UGH!

Hi Ladies,

I was too tired to workout this morning. The rotation called for PS CST and I will try to get that in after my meltdown class tonight. It's only 40 minutes so I should have time after my class.

DH bought a '95 or '96 jeep grand cherokee when I was at the RT. I just drove it today and I love it. We've had to put some money into and we still need to do a bit more work to it. Since I told DH I loved he's decided we can keep it and fix it up. It will be nice to have a 4 wheel drive in the winter.

I had both feet x-rayed at my dr. appt on Monday my appt with the orthopedist isn't until Dec 12th. I'm hoping there is something that can be done to eliminate my foot pain. My fingers are crossed but I'm not holding my breath. After 2 surgeries on one foot and still having problems and pain, and now my other foot hurts too.

It sounds like everyone is feeling a bit under the weather. So far I'm feeling fine and hope you all start feeling better soon.

Wendy-enjoy your rest day and take of yourself. I'm going to check out your rotation and see what I think.

Angie-nice job with the X. When are you scheduled to be done with it.

DeeDee-I feel like a slacker, and I have to weigh in today. Good job sweatin' it out with Sean. I love his voice!

Jen-you need to rest up and feel better soon too!

Diana: Oh I sure hope they can do something for your feet! I chose the next rotation because it focuses on upper body where the one I am finishing up focuses on lower body so it'll be a good follow up. It also includes a circuit every week which will be a nice change. I often neglect circuits when I create my own rotation. The 2 cardios per week are where I'll insert my runs. :)
 
Happy lunch time girlies!!

Late posting today .. been a busy one .. short handed again .. *ugh* .. PIA is here (faint and fall over) .. but she had to work in another office .. YAYAYAAYA!! She asked for vacation tommorrow instead of her usual calling in sick .. guess she is saving her sick days for the holiday ... LOL .. I know I am being a meany .. but if you had to work w/her you would understand! :confused:

The head is a bit better .. still lingering on .. popping the Excedrine Migraine pills .. and staying off the hard stuff ... my migraines usually last a good 5 days or so .. good news on the eye .. no infection .. but he thinks the strain of that eye (and the stress I have been under) is causing the cluster migraines .. for those that dont know I am about 90 - 95% blind in my right eye!! NO central vision .. and it gives me FITS!!! and the head aches/migraines are just part of it!!:( maybe now since most of the stress is off of me I will start feeling better!!!

Last night I was running late .. and the class actually set up for the 4 step toture :eek: I was shocked .. so even w/a lingering bad head I did it .. OH MY .. I am SORE today .. can tell I skipped a week on that one!! LOL Tonight doing a mish mosh of plyo work - weights - weighted body balance work - core/plank work .. should be interesting if it works out like i have planned .. will be different for sure!!!

Wendy .. man .. hate the MBF bailed again on your plans .. was looking forward to your salsa class reporting .. lol!!! dont push too hard today if you are feeling the crud .. you ladies keep that crap to yourself . . I doing my best to avoid DH .. dont need to catch it from cyber space ..lol!!

Jacque .. sorry the Sharks lost .. but sounds like they played good!!! My Auburn Tigers play Sat .. we play the GA bulldogs .. and they a GOOD ... :confused: .. YIKES .. can only hope we play better than we have been playing!!! of course our rivals AL are playing an EASY team .. one we even beat .. lol~! they will clobber them :( ..

Ang .. Buster is FINALLY calming down some he ate a few bites this morning (has not eaten in 5 days) .. he has probably lost 10 -1 5 pounds .. looks pitiful .. he is finally looking me in the eye .. like he is coming off of a huge drugged out "trip" .. LOL .. he really looks pitiful .. he still is AVOIDing Toots like the plague .. and she is still acting like Queen Bee ... I really should video them .. b/c they crack me up .. congrats on Cody's win ... I would so be an obnoxious "soccer mom" .. LOL!!! I would be the crazy mom in the stand everyone talks about .. lol!!!

Shirl .. hello .. you dont have this crazy cyber bug these ladies are passing around do you?? LOL

OK.. it has taken me 4-ever to write this .. so better run .. will try to peak in b-4 leaving to see what everyone is up to .. have a great one and great sweaty workouts!!!:D
 
Hello my fav exercise girls:)

I have big plans tomorrow to go shopping after the boys get home at 12:30. Cody and DH will be going to hunting camp and will drop Cam off at Gma's house so my mom and I can go shoppin.:p I went ahead and did L&B today so that if I didn't get a workout in tomorrow it's no biggie. I also did the BenderBall Ab workout with a ball I nabbed from the boys room. It was pretty easy, but different, so who knows maybe there will be DOMS tomorrow.

Wendy - Are you gonna go to the doc? If it doesn't get better soon, you'd better get your bootie to that office girl!
*lol* re: dinner. Actually I was well behaved....I had salmon, green beans, a few fries (not many since my belly is still not 100%) with a slice of plain bread and water.:p For me, that's very well behaved! However, I cannot promise the same for tomorrow. We'll probably end up at red lobster. I love their mud slides!!! OMG - sooooooo good - even my mom loves them. I'll probably also get the fondue in the bread bowl....no fat or calories in that right??

Dee Dee - I need to do Sean soon.:confused: I'm going thru Sean withdrawl and I love CC#5 and 6. I do the Candace #6 sometimes - it's a butt kickin workout as well, but nothing compares to Sean ya know? Uh, ya, I'm sure you do!

Jen - Slept in until 6am??:eek::eek: Girl - that's NOT sleepin' in! LOL!
Keep pushin the fluids. Do you like green tea? That seems to help me a lot. I don't know if it's just a mental thing or not.....but it works for me.

Good job pluggin thru with LM even if you were'nt feeling it. I've been feeling that way a lot lately too......like I don't even want to head to the basement.:( I think I'm suffering from X burnout. I'm hoping a new package of STS DVD's will re-excite me.:D

Di - Oh yea on the 4WD. It would be nice to have that in the snow. I don't have one, but it's not critical that I get to work either. *lol* Besides, I only have a 7 mile drive to work and if I get stuck, I just need to call DH to come rescue me and if he's not around, there's always someone I can call. There are some advantages to being in the sticks.;) Usually though when we are expecting bad weather, I get my work done early and plan to stay home. I'm kinda spoiled with my job.
I sooooo hope you get good news re: your feet. Keep us posted.
I've got 3 weeks left of the X, but I'm thinking I might cut it a couple of weeks short. I'm so bored!!! And the long workouts are kickin' my arse. I'm feeling buff though so it wasn't all for nothing.

DH is on the phone all night scheduling trucks for the next day. I hate the phone. Ug! It never fails that his cell rings during dinner.:mad::confused: The poor guy doesn't get a moments peace. There's times I wanna hurl that phone thru the window and I don't even have to talk on it.....bless his heart.....he is such a saint and a wonderful people person. I truly don't deserve him, but I'm glad I've got him.:)
The audience is usually kinda dull at the games. I hoot and holler but in a respectful way. I'm always yelling "GO BLUE!!" I remember playing and it always felt good to have the crowd on your side. So, even though I may make a fool of myself sometimes....I don't care.;) Ya can't give the boys enough encouragement right? Plus, Cody's not embarassed b/c they don't know who's a hollarin'. LOL!! Life's short, live it up!! Uh, but I guess I'm preachin to the quire here huh?:D:p
