***X-FACTOR SUNDAY***

Cathlete
Hi Ladies,

I'm up early on Sunday-7:30. Today is cleanmax day around here. I've already started laundry and need to make a grocery list. As far as working out goes, CTX upper and long cardio are sounding good today. Yesterday ended up being a rest day.

It's going to cost over $400 to fix the dishwasher, which is about 5 or 6 years old. We said no thanks and will be buying another one. The repairman said most appliances start going out between 10-15 yrs. That would be the rest of my appliances that fall in that range. Fortunately the dishwasher still works, it's just very loud. The motor bearing has gone out (whatever that means).

Yesterday was the first game of the playoffs for Jerod's football team. They won-a shutout!!! The boys are really excited about that since they haven't had a very good season.

SIL will be going in for a double mastectomy this week. Please keep her in your prayers. I'm making some casseroles she can keep in her freezer to use during her recovery. I'll probably be taking a couple days off work to stay with her, cook, clean etc after the surgery.

Time to get started cleaning this filthy house. DH is blowing out the sprinkler system and one of the boys will be mowing the lawn, hopefully for the last time this season.

Good morning chickies !

Heading on to the workout room as soon as I say "hi". KPC on tap this AM AND, if I get all my meeting prep and painting done, (oh yea, gotta wash the grays out today too!) I am planning on doing Power Hour tonight since I just don't foresee it happening tomorrow. I'll go a bit easy on the weight since I have some minor DOMS from PUB yesterday.

Diana - Woo Hoo that Jerod's team won a shut out ! Tell him congrats from your "cyber fitness friend"!:D Sounds like you have a busy day ahead also. Cheers to us both being very productive ! ;) Sorry to hear that SIL needs the surgery but sooo hoping that it eliminates the "C". So very wonderful that you are there for the great support you are lending her. Will keep her in my prayers.

The Sharks pulled out a win in OT after a veeerrrryyyy sssslllloooowww start last night. I had my doubts, but man can they pull it together when they need to. Not just a single one but they all chipped in and made it happen. Quite exciting !

Off to "jump around" a bit. Think the Punching and Kicking may get me revved up for some good productivity !

BBL for a break !

OK - done with KPC and off to do chores. I'm thinking either I am getting really old, or I haven't done KPC for a long time. That was fun and exhausting.

I guess I've mainly used CTX and Kick Max lately.

Need to rid myself of the sweat now. :p Hope everyone is having a lovely, quiet Sunday.

Hiya girls

Just finally sitting down after making a huge lunch for the guys. I got most of it done last night thankfully. I put a ham in the crock pot to cook over night and made the desert last night too.:)

Last night at about 8:30 I finally did CC#1. I just wanted a short w/o since I used my entire afternoon cleaning out the garage and then it was time to make dinner. We had spaghetti and I was just gonna bag a workout, but I didn't want to ruin my rest day today so I hopped on the EXT and did a short CC. I did get a few cramps since I ate, but it wasn't too bad. So, today is rest.:D

Jacque - I hate doing home repair! Actually we are gonna hire out the outside of the house to be redone next spring, and then we need to hire out the inside to repaint and carpet - probably the following year or so. I am not an interior decorator at all!! I wish I was.....but I'm sooooo NOT.
The weather in the Carribean I think is always nice. I went to Cancun during spring break one year and it was really nice then except for a bit windy. Looking forward to some fun in the sun.
My parents did an Alaskan cruise a couple of years ago and loved it! They said the views from the ship are spectacular! They said everything was pricey, but worth doing at least once in a lifetime.
I am sooo jealous of your Austrailian/New Zealand trip. I love the "hercules" flicks, (mostly because of Kevin Sorbo - ug! He is to die for.....but I digress) and they were filmed in New Zealand. I just love the lush scenery. I would love to go there!! Maybe someday. Now that we got our passports, we'll have to get some use of out them right?
Ahhh, so you're the person I should ask about stocks? Just kidding. Actually I'm really considering taking some $$$ out of our savings and investing in GE or Cisco since they are cheap right now. I'm sure in the long run they would be a better investment than what I would get in savings. I'm still waiting for the stock market to calm down a bit though. The volitility is just insane! I think it's heading below 8000.....when it does, I may invest then. I'll certainly be doing some research at that point, that is for sure.
Ah yes, the PUB DOMS.....I can't do that workout and not get DOMS. Those bicep curls at the end are "an out of body experience". LOL!
Congrats on that Sharks win. Woooohoooo!
KPC is a workout for sure isn't it?? Love it! and this coming from a girl who's not a real KB fan at all.

Diana - Uh, thanks for the laundry reminder. I read your post and headed for the laundry room.:( I forgot to put it in earlier.:p
It seems like it's always easier and cheaper to replace appliances than to repair. Isn't that such a shame? Geez
All the best to SIL. She must be so scared. I hope all goes well and thankfully it sounds like she has a wonderful support system in your family.
Our lawn was mowed today as well, but you'd never be able to tell. It's windy here and all the leaves are coming down. So, it looked good for about 15 minues.
Woooohoooo on Jarods win! So, more games next weekend then?

Hi to the rest of you girls......hope you are having a great Sunday.:)
