Good morning Xers !

Checking to see if anyone is up and around ~ figuring we are all just easing into the weekend . . .

On my way to go workout - I believe it is UB with some floor work. Will be back to report. Also will keep my 32 oz. water bottle handy today to try to get back into the groove. Next week will be two travel days, one a long one in the car so too much water those days will be hard . . .

Until later . . .

OK - done with PUB but didn't do the leg floorwork - my back is wasted from sitting so much lately and the stability floorwork is hard on it. I'm still feeling my legs from all the legwork this week anyway and have KPC tomorrow + may need to do Power Hour tomorrow night since I can't workout on Monday at all. Will be out of the house by 5:45 and not home until after 8 P.M. Have three days of early to rise, late to bed so don't want to get up at 3 AM to workout !

Today is trying to finish up the living room painting and baseboards, banking, grocery shopping and some more work before heading off to the hockey game tonight. Bummer that the Sharks lost, 4-0, after having a great winning season of 4-0. I knew it wouldn't last, but now we'll see if they can recoup a win at home.

Hope everyone is starting out with a nice weekend. We had some sprinkles this AM but it will be up just over 80' by mid day here.

BBL to check on everyone.

Hi ladies,

I've been up since 8am since the dishwasher repairman is supposed to be here between 8-noon. Well it's 11:45 and he's not here yet, but called and will be here shortly.

Jerod has a football game at 1pm and DH has already left to drop him off. Jerod has to be there at 11:45. Hopefully dishwasher guy will be done so I can get out of here on time to make it to his game.

I just have to say the posts have been so amusing this week they've kept me smiling and laughing through several tough days at work. You ladies are the best.

I have no idea what-if any workout I will be doing today. I'd love to do a long tough cardio w/o. I also bought some new photo albums and paper to start an album for my grandbaby girlies. I need to stop at hobby lobby and get stickers. By the way DH calls my cropping/scrapbooking "cut and paste". How much money did you spend on "cut and paste" this month:p He loves the photo albums as much as I do so he's says it sarcastically.

Jacque-I'm jealous, your w/o is already done for the day. Great Job!!! Enjoy your hockey game tonight!

bbl to see what everyone else is up to.

Hey girls

Got up late with a headache this morning.:( It was self inflicted though so I really don't have anyone to blame but moi. The CABs were just too good last night and even when I made my last drink I said I really shouldn't make this but I'm gonna anyways. *lol* Had a great time with BF picking out excursions. This is what we picked out.....looks fun for all of us.

I'm thinking this will be the best March I've ever had.

I haven't gotten a workout in yet. Still not sure what I'm gonna do. I'm not in the mood for kenpo, so I'll sub it for something else.

Laura - Boo on SIL's shoulder.:( When will she find out if surgery is required?
Ahhhhhh - sounds like a fun and lazy weekend on tap for you.:D Those are typically the best ones!

Diana - IA, the posts have been hilarious! I'm so glad we combined the threads. It has been nice to have more Catheites to chum with.
I wish I had you talents with organizing pics. I have a huge box full of em' and they are in no order at all!! One of these days I will have to tackle that box and it will take me forever to figure out where they all go. Oy!
Hope you have a great time at the game today. Stay warm and snuggly.
I'd be at a complete loss without my dishwasher. *lol* I use it every day. I've had the same one for 12 years now so I'm always thinking it may be on it's last leg....but it's still chuggin' away.

Jacque - You let work get in the way of your posting?? Shame! *lol*
LM is a good calorie burn. I always put it in thinking it will be an easy w/o but I'm always soaking wet when I'm done.
Here's some info. to get you started on the driving schools
http://www.racingadventure.com/?OVR...-mBRG_DP5vtCj9gxl1f2WX_uLYEbGwPhT565yZL4GhtC4
and the next one is the one I booked for DH at MIS
http://www.1800bepetty.com/home.aspx
There may be more driving schools out there, but I have heard of the Dale Jarrett one (my hero!) and have personal experience with the Petty one. If you have any questions, let me know. It is pricey, but it is really a good time and I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

I didn't make my water goal yesterday either. I came up a half liter short. The darned CABs got in the way. *lol* BTW, not sure if we told everyone what cabs stood for.....cold adult beverages.;) I will be making up the water shortage today though.

Good for your DD in being on her own so early. That's impressive! IA on the common sense thing. Cam does have that going for him, whereas my oldest one......not so sure. He does some pretty stupid things. Makes me wonder ya know? I do think the youngest ones are the trouble makers. I was the youngest too and I know that applies to me. I also think there will be no-one who will take advantage of Cam. He is generous, but not willing to let someone TAKE something from him.
I do think Cody and Cam are buddies now, they just don't realize it yet.;) They are pretty much inseperable.....which can just drive me up a wall.

About the cruise - DH and I agreed to go on a cruise with my BF and her DH. WE are going in mid-March which is the time of the year when DH and I are ready to come un-glued. That time of the year in the winter is awful - horrible winter blues!! So, since we never went on a honeymoon, we are going full boar on this trip and really looking forward to it.

Wow - sounds like a really busy week ahead for you. Does that happen often?

Enjoy your game tonight. It's so much more fun when your team wins.:)

Better get going.....got lots of stuff to do and this day is just slipping away.

HI to the rest of you girls

Angie

Back from the banking/shopping trip. Did finish my touch ups in the living room but baseboards will have to be tomorrow.

Talked DH (shhhhhhhhhh) into buying new interior doors. We bought a house from a family friend and it is a 30 yr old home that was a rental for many years. Needs some TLC and updating and I am on my way now . . . ! ! !

Tiled one bathroom floor, got my workout room done a year after DD moved out (waited just in case), am working in the living room and now I can put in some new door jams and trim that aren't dented and dinged to the max ! I never did patch or paint them when we moved in 8 years ago. YES, I am stoked !

Diana - Doggone repair men that can't keep to a schedule. Hope you made it to Jared's game in time to watch him WIN (just in case the vibes will help!). LOL about cut and paste :p. I am a crafter at heart but have never done the scrapbooking. Was a tole painter but went back to work about 10 years ago and it has gone by the wayside. Snuck a peek at your "girls" - so darling they are. I have twin nieces that are 10 yrs old and I so love seeing twins grow up. Quite a bit different than those of us singles. Definitely had to workout today and may be doubling up tomorrow since next week will be so unsure. That PUB was quite difficult though - would have been talking to Cathe personally if I hadn't been breathing and grunting so hard ! ;)

Angie - self inflicted headache huh? LOL - I was thinking CAB's were cabernets - but then again, that would fit too ! Hope extra water and a couple of aspirins has helped your "SIH" disappear. So I am seeing a cruise that includes Cozumel and the Grand Caymans. How is the weather in that area in March? I want to take DH on just the short Mexico cruise we can hit from Los Angeles, CA down to Ensenada. It is a 3 nighter and hits a few fun places. The Carribean ones would mean we would have to fly across the states. We also want to do the week long Alaskan cruise one of these days - so does DS23 and his wife so that may be a possibility sometime. Sounds like you will have a blast. So nice to have something to look forward to and, even better yet, a honeymoon that you never had the chance to take. I started saving a few years ago for our 10th by investing in some CD's. We are planning an Austrailia / New Zealand trek in 2010. Should be spectacular.

Thanks for the driving school links - DH has talked about it but he isn't a "doer". That would be a great present for one of our celebratory days (bday, Xmas, anniv.). Will check them out when I have the chance.

These meeting are yearly Employee Stock Option Plan meetings (I am HR and report to the VP of Finance who is grooming me to start taking over part of them). We have 6 locations in CA and so do quite a bit of travelling in addition to one day that has 9 separate meetings. They are approx 10 employees each and we have a manufacturing site that has 90 employees. At least that one is only 40 min. away.!

So by the end of next week I will be normal (as normal as I ever am) and be ready to start getting ready for the holidays.

Cross fingers for "GO HOCKEY" ! ! ;)

Hey there Jen, Laura and Shirl if you are still in town this weekend !

(Guess Laura either had a fantabulous date night last night or went back to not posting on the weekends, huh?)

See you all tomorrow.
