Good Morning Girls.:)

I took a complete rest day yesterday. I plan on heading outside this morning at some point to see how the knee is. I would like to get a 10 miler in but I will only take it as far as the knee allows. :eek: Perhaps it won't bother me at all! Wow, that would be wonderful, ey? :) My race is in a week. If I can't participate I am going to freakin' SCREAM! I didn't train for 4 months to NOT run in this race! :eek: :mad:

My backside is still ON FIRE from B&G the other day. If my knee doesn't sideline my run then my glutes might!:p:D

Jacque: A wedding and a Birthday party in the same day? WOW! Have fun! So are you feeling legs and back this morning? If you are tired of pull ups you can always change up to the lat pulls with the band.

Sunny: Oh the power of the bells! I often think about them. It's been while since I've used them. I will have to seriously consider spending some time with them after my race! :)

Ang: Sorry you felt crappy y'day. I hope you are A okay today to attend the party. Good job getting your work out done despite not feeling up to par though. As for bowling, the leauge I was in with DH has ended. I went with him last night as he was bowling-subbing for another team who had a person who wasn't there. It was fun. The best part is that I drank and am not hung over this morning!;)

Where the heck is Di!?!?!? :eek:
 
Morning girls

I got up too late this morning to try to squeeze that workout in before the party. I'll have to play it by ear and either get it in this evening or tomorrow. Hmmmmm.....speaking of squeeze, maybe that's something I can sub for YogaX next week.

The party today should be lots of fun. But, I know the food it wicked.:eek: I'm bringing a yummy desert and a vege tray. I'll aim for being half good.;)

Wendy - I do hope that knee cooperates with you. But if it doesn't, you gotta look at the big picture and make sure you put the knee ahead of that race. You can always do another race..... I know, not what you want to hear.:(:mad::confused:
B&G can certainly put a burn in the ole' butt eh? Ouchie!
I feel much better today, thanks for asking. I think I just ate something that didn't settle. Plus, I think I was a bit sleep deprived (self induced) and my body doesn't handle sleep deprivation very well at all.
Glad to hear you had some fun last night. So when do the new leagues start? Are you going to do a winter league or just DH?
Best of luck with the run today....but please be careful.

Happy sunny Saturday!

Ang .. you hexed me .. this morning about 6:30 one of DH friends showed up .. :mad:... the dogs were going insane .. and I could not go back to sleep ... DANG IT ... DH was on eveneings last night .. and I stayed up to "greet" him .. ;)... think we finally got to bed around 2:00:confused:.. so now I am sleep deprived .. he is taking a nap now .. I am piddling cleaning trying to be quiet ... and we have a wedding tonight .. geese .. I will be zonked!!

Wendy . . hoping the knee is better .. I know you are gonna be devestated if you cant race .. but think positive .. maybe lay off training ..if it is only a week away .. ??? that may help!! keep up the ice and ibuprofen!!

I wonder if Di is gone to see the grandbabies .. I know it was in October .. but cant remember the date .. I was thinking it was around the 10th or so ???? Hope all is OK with her!!

OK .. I cant make up my mind on what to do today .. I want to go w/Sean and CC8 ... but probably need something like B&G ... Lord I have not done that in a while .. or maybe I should go w/an all over workout .. have not done BBC in a while . not going to X today unless it is YogaX .. see I am all over the place .. not sure what I want to do .. I may do 1/2 CC and 1/2 Yoga X .. ??? so many w/o's so little time .. LOL!!

I still am not even sure what I am wearing tonight... the wedding is outside .. it is hot today . but tonight it is supposed to get down in the 50's .. how do you dress for that??? If it gets below 68 I am FREEZING ... ??? may let DH pick out my outfit .. :eek:... he has good taste~!

Ok .. gotta get off my butt and figure out some w/o plan .. and do CLEANMAX .. and doggie bathmax .. they missed it again yesterday .. the run was longer than expected .. and I ran out of daylight ..

OK .. all that follow .. have a great one ... I will try to check back after the w/o is done and see what everyone is up to .. have a great one!!
 
I'm back to say that I ran 9.25 miles virtually pain free today! Yahoo! LOL I used the run/walk concept with a ration of 1 mile run to 1 minute walk and it worked well. If my knee even THOUGHT it wanted to complain the walking time shut it right up!;) As much as I'd like to and am pretty confident that I CAN run the entire 18 miles-albeit slow-perhaps I should reconsider and do a run/walk like I did for my first half. If it'll keep me out injury's way it will be worth it. :)

Happy Saturday Afternoon!

I taught my Turbo class this morning and that is it for me today. Just cleaning the basement, storage, kids rooms, etc. Loads of fun! :rolleyes:

I plan on doing some yoga tomorrow before church. I still have to write myself a formal rotation.

Wendy, yeah for the knee! Hopefully you're still feeling pain free! Enjoy your weekend.

Laura, My DH would love me to "greet" him tonight. :p What workout did you decide? Hope you have a great time at the wedding and you're not too tired.
