Good Morning Girls.

Just getting us started.

I have upper body, abs and a looong run planned for this weekend. I'm feelin' the DOMS just THINKING about it!:D

I ended up dropping DS off at my MIL's last night. He's spending the weekend. My inlaws are nuts...in a GOOD way ofcourse. ;)

Off to grab coffee.

I really should be on the EXT doing the CCPP w/o, but I got up late and I'm just not feeling like an AM workout. I have to order some pizzas in an hour or so and take them up the the shop.....DH and DS are doing wood all day long. DH told me to bring some gloves so I could stay.....ummmm.....no thanks!:rolleyes: I'll be coming home to a date with Sean.:eek: If only he knew......shhhhhhhhh. LOL!

Dee Dee - I'm so curious about the RCR program. I'll have to run a search on it. I just heard a snippit about it on another site.....just enough to totally intrigue me.

Laura - So sad about the co-worker. I hope things work out for her. It sounds like a very sad situation.:(
*lol* re: Buster. I can just picture it. I love having company again, but it's so hard not to compare her to Kirby. She's got her own little quirks.....most of them make us bust out laughing though.:D
So are you taking Sean with you on your long run?? It IS CCPP Saturday ya know.
I don't know why, but X L&B leans out my legs better than anything else. It weird too since most of Cathe's workouts seem so much more difficult to do than L&B. Hmmmmmmmmm
Have fun at your game today. Although, I guess I didn't have to tell you that.;)

Jacque - The legs are slightly sore today but I think it's from L&B yesterday.
I've never heard of the Fat Flush Plan.....do tell.
Thankfully I haven't had to deal with the hormone thing yet, but I know it's just around the corner. I have wicked fluctuations during TTOM. My poor family.:(:rolleyes:
What is the flaxseed for? Is there a reason you take it with cranberry juice?
I use the EAS too b/c I can get it pretty cheap at Sams. (Oh how I wish we had a Cosco nearby) I checked the label and it says high concentrate of BCAAs but I can't find anywhere where it says how much it has. IA that the taste is fine, especially for the price of it. Thanks for clueing me in that it had BCAAs.....I didn't even know that.
How was the game last night?

Wendy - How's the knee today? I got my rubber/foam inserts at Dunhams for about $12. It was the best $$$ I could've spent. It made a huge difference for my knee.
Cam went downstairs when he got home from school and froze in his tracks and said "wow!" LOL! It WAS a mess. I also re-arranged my exercise stuff and it really looks different. Of coarse, DH never even noticed.:eek::mad:
A w/e all to yourself???:D:) Ahhhhhhhhhh!!! I hope your knee co-operates for you so you can go out and make some good use of that time alone.

OK ... pick yourself up from fainting that Laura is checking in on a SAT .. :eek:... LOL ... I just did some online shopping ...oy ... Lancome skin care ... but I love the stuff and it works mainly!!! :D

I am about to go get a shower .. did a long run today .. w/Buster .. the dog is like running w/a bulldozier .. LOL .. he makes my w/o toooooo hard!! But weather was great and I enjoyed it .. Buster has been passed out since we got home.. think he over did it a bit!! LOL I was going to do abs .. but running out of time ..

gotta get ready for the game ... CABS on ice as we speak!! :D

Ang ... I really need to get it on camera all of the stuff Buster does .. he cracks me up ... Toots is doing better on the organic food .. skin is clearing a bit .. but the temps are helping w/that also! Pizza sounds good .. i just made some pimento cheese .. I know sooooo fattening but DH requested it .. at least we will eat celery w/it . 1/2 healthy .. :eek:

Wendy .. hope the knee is better ... my run felt awesome .. my back was tight for some reason .. missed my last appnt w/the chiro .. might have to go back next week ..

tommorrow is going to be another shorter run .. and probably Core synergy ...

Happy & Sunny Saturday here too ! We've been at 90' the entire week. Kinda funny way to start the fall, but ya all know Calif is the odd part of the country, eh?

So Sean and Todd were great ! Yes they were. This was my first time with CCPP and it was a kick butt run ! I have been having those bummer hip pains and today it didn't kick in too bad. Could make it work OK if I just straightened up a bit and didn't lean forward at all. Workout was 65" for 5.5 miles. Longest one I have done for a few months. Feelin' it in the behind already. Think it might just be StretchX tomorrow. :p

Wendy - Woo hoo - DS gets to play with Grandma this weekend. Nice for you. Glad to hear the knee is feeling better. Hope it feels good tomorrow for your long run. Good idea to rest yesterday and do UB today . . .

Angie - I was up late this AM too as we didn't even hit the bed until after 1 AM. Game was very fun - half old regulars and half newbies. They put on a good show and kicked some bootie winning 5 - 2. Yee haw ! ! ! So have you done CCPP before? Make sure the "boys" give you a good workout after your pizza dropoff ! :D

Laura - So being new to your posting, I take it you typically "disappear" on the weekends? Good to hear from you today then ! :eek: So what kind of dog is your little Buster? Sounds too funny from what little you mentioned today. Enjoy your game - hope your team comes out on top !

Playing around a bit today and then have DH's 30 yr reunion tonight. Tomorrow is a local festival we always go to. Classic car show, local brewery beer and crafts. Quaint little town that is just a nice time to wander around and enjoy the nice weather.

BBL to see what everyone else is up to . . . sounds like most of us have sunshine at least !

Hey Ladies.

No time for personals.

I nixxed the possiblity of the run today because of the weather. Went out and bought new running shoes instead. Now I'm broke! LOL Gonna do an HSTA premix of upper body and cardio plus some ab work as soon as I post this and I will run tmrw.

Gotta go for now. Hopefully I can catch up with personals before DH and I head out for the night!

Oh and btw X'ers! I will have 6 weeks of "play time" in between my 18 mile race and when I will need to begin marathon training sooooo I'm thinking of doing a mini-X rotation! If you girls are still doin' it then I should be joining you after all in 2-3 weeks!:)

Hey again girls

I feel so accomplished today that I'm gonna reward myself and sit on my rump, watch HOUSE, and fiddle around on the puter all night.:D DH just went to deer camp to play cards so it's just me and the boys.

So after I dropped off (ate):p pizza, I went to BF's b/c I saw her DH hauling home a new 5th wheel trailer. I had to go and check it out. It's beautiful! Well, that got me in the camper mood so I came home and cleaned out the trailer, which was long overdue and a chore I have been putting off for 3 weeks now.:eek: But, after 2-3 hours it's done! Hopefully tomorrow afternoon DH and I can clean the outside (if the weathers nice) and put it up for the winter.

After that I found enough ambition to do CCPP. Now I'm spent!

Pimento cheese huh? It's been ages since I had that. I used to eat it on saltine crackers.....on celery would be interesting.

Jacque - Isn't CCPP great? I have done it before a few times, but I do it on the elliptical. I don't have an ipod yet, so I can't go outside with Sean.:(
So glad your team won last night. It's so much more fun when the outcome is favorable.
30 year reunion? Doesn't time just fly by? I just had my 20th last year.
Tomorrow's plan sound really nice....hopefully you'll get more sunshine for it.

Sounds like you got lots of good stuff accomplished in your day Angie ! I do enjoy the CCPP. Not sure how some of you actually accomplish hills when outside unless you have strategically planned out a course? I only have two hills that don't seem like they would mesh very well with the CC's so I use them while on the TM. Do tell if you have some ideas that I haven't conjured up in my pea brain yet ! :eek:

Wendy - good idea to get new shoes - it can sometimes make a really big difference. Plus you'll have just the right # of miles on them when your HM rolls around (but I know you planned that, right !:p;)). And I would bet there will still be a few of us doing the "dreaded X" in a few weeks ! :rolleyes: As long as everyone here keeps me on track ! ! ! :D
