Good Morning Ladies.

So who all is doing CCPP with me today? The more company I have the more likely I'll be not to wimp out!:p

Diana: Sorry about DS' lousy game y'day. Ya win some, ya lose some. See winning and losing only matters to me when I'm in AC which is why I never bothered to play team sports! LOL I remember when I was in my mid 20's and wanted to move out of my mom's house. I started running the numbers and when I realized that I'd have to make some major concessions in order to afford it, I opted to stay put! I ended up living in mom's house until I got married and bought this house in my 30's. Good job with CF. I sold that one a long time ago. Never got into it. So will you be doing CCPP with me or sticking with you lower body plan today?

BBL.

Change of plans...no CCPP for me today. Will do CC 7 or 8 instead. Let's just say I'm having technical difficulties and I've had it with trying to figure it out for today....

:DMorning girls

Ahhhhhh - slept in til 10, until the dog woke me up.:) I have another day of nothin scheduled. Love these weekends. I'm sure I have some chores to do, but nothing that can't wait if I don't feel like doing it. I'm usually the most productive when I have a plan like that.:p

Today is rest day and tomorrow is back to week 3 phase 2.

Wendy - Boo on the tech difficulties. Are you doing it outside or on the TM? Will the CD work in a player?
Don't fret. The first challenge is the 10 intervals from CC7. I think it's the hardest one! Although, I don't do level 3 very well and usually push it to a 4 for more of a HIIT workout. I'm soooooo happy when that challenge is behind me!!! Have fun.:D

Hi to the rest of ya'll

Angie

Hello ladies,

well today is the first day i've been able to workout in almost a week. i did tracey s. cardiofest kickbox workout. love that one! i am still a little congested so still gotta work on my endurance.

wendy- sorry no CCPP for me today. just happy i was able to get in a workout!!

angie- enjoy your rest day today! how is the water intake going?

hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Good Sunday AM to all !

Wendy - I was planning on doing CCPP again this month - did it last month and love it ! And then I totally forgot this was THE LAST weekend of the month until I saw Angie's post yesterday. So, that being said, today will be cardio and am thinking of doing it. Wanted to get around a bit earlier this AM but DH was too tired for "playing" until just now!:p I was up earlier and have such a list of chores - need to clean carpets and this week seems like the last one where we will have 80' so it can dry.

Well since you can't do CCPP, I'll do it with you in mind. I know it is tough, but I think it is just a wee bit harder than any of the others. Hope you got things working so you could get your CC in. I did go ahead and get the extra CC's earlier this month so I could add the extra challenges if I have the Umpf ! We will see how that goes.

You gonna join me Diana with the CCPP, or at least a CC with Wendy?

Diana - So sorry Jarod's team had such a disappointing loss, but as you mentioned, 5 years together sure creates some good bonds and knowledge of how your teammates play so you can work together. If they played their best, they can do no more and have to look at the experience AND how they got to the finals ! Hope he has fun wrestling !

Thanks for the GO SHARKS ! We did win last night, thank goodness. We are going to the see them play against the Penguins on Tuesday and DS, DIL and GS will be there. So I just checked out the stats for the Avs and they are doing well, #9 in the NHL ! and second in their division. We will definitely have some fun in the playoffs if they both continue playing this well.

It was hard when DD moved out since she was 17 and left due to her not liking the restrictions put on her. She moved to her Dad's a half hour away, he is a bad influence, but she ended up finishing school through the Continuation High School there and has done OK. She still makes some bad choices with the people she hangs with, but last night we discussed her going to get at least an LVN certificate so once I can get her past the financial part of it (she is so afraid to spend $ on schooling?) then I think we will be moving forward. She and I could really get into some disagreements and I was not a tough parent but she was a bit overboard compared to many teens that we did butt heads quite often. She really helped me learn patience and that was only a handful of years ago when she really started testing. I do miss having my kids around on a daily basis, but that is what the life cycle is all about . . . :( Sometimes I read about the issues/struggles you ladies are having with your children and am a bit envious that they aren't here - and then I think of it as having done "my time" in that phase and how much fun it is not to have to discipline and that I can just take off whenever I want to without having to make sure someone is taken care of. Yep, the tradeoffs . . .

Angie - Well lucky you that you got CCPP done yesterday. Enjoy your rest day and your weekend ! Nearly done with Phase 2 now - are you going to go on to Phase 3 and complete "X"?

OK - off to get started on my long list of To Do's. I rarely get them all done but always have good plans. BBL to check on everyone.

Hey Laura, Shirl and Dee Dee ! Hope the weekend is doing well for you.

Hey Dee Dee ! So glad to hear you felt well enough to get a workout in today! I do believe CCPP would have been a bit much for you today. ;)

BUT, maybe that is something we can all do together then end of November? It could be busy for some of us, but it might be a fun Challenge of us here.

Just a thought since it seems like everyone here runs.

OK - I'm really leaving . . . :p

Okay my work out is done.

I decided to do my own version of CCPP since I am having trouble getting the "real" one on my Ipod. So here's what I did:

CC#3 warm up and steady state
CC#4 Challenge # 1
2 minutes walking recovery
CC#5 Challenge # 1
2 minutes walking recovery
CC#6 Challenge # 1
2 minutes walking recovery
CC#7 half of Challenge #1 (this challenge has 4 segements to it: several minutes at level 3 followed by several minutes at level 2 to be repeated 4 times w/o recovery. I did segment 1 in full as produced. I did level 3 of segment 2 as produced but then used level 2 as my cool down.)

Total Time: 72 minutes

Total Mileage: 6.5 miles

My butt is WHOOPED!
