WW's AUGUST: Week of Aug. 29th

Today's work out was killer!

100 reps of jump rope + 25 jumping jacks for a warm up then...

Tonique Mat Back Lying Segment (omitted ab work)
8/31 Body Rock Work Out
50 Push Ups
Abs/Stretch from Power Hour

Last night my hubby said he was going to our workout room in the basement to do "something". He's trying to get back into shape and right now he's just at the stage of doing anything fitness related. So, I went down with him and I did just the upper body premix from Muscle Max, using far less poundage than usual as my workouts have been non-existent lately. So that felt good that I at least did "something".

This morning I'm going with the "just do it" mantra and though I only have time for a short workout before work, I'm going to do about 20 min on the bike and then abs.

I'm really going to try to do "something" a few days a week at this point, guess it's better than nothing. I'm toying with getting up at 5am to workout but I already dont get enough sleep as it is, and being as tired as I am most days, I still dont sleep well b/c my mind cant shut itself down.

Still plugging away...
 
Good evening. Today workout was Imax 2. I have been really stress out do to the storm and then yesterday another car and I were backing out the same time and damaged my back bumper. It was no ones fault. At least nobody got hurt. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better less stressful day for me. I am def having wine tonight:). See you tomorrow.
 
Good Morning gals!

Yesterday's workout was sts back disk 11...i can hardly wait..next week is rest week! I had timed my rest week to be when they were maybe going to ship the new cathes low impact but alas it was not meant to be:(

I was able to do the 6x a week sts with meso 1 but i am not sure if i will stick with it for meso 2 since we are supposed to be lifting heavier...i guess i'll give it a shot and see what happens!

Food wise i have been pretty good (surprisingly)! being back at work helps because i have less time on my hands to snack. Also i stopped having a stash of herseys kisses in my office (thats really helped). However, i miss my 2pm workouts:p.. now i am only able to exercise around 6:30 pm..

Good morning All!!

Yesterday's workout was Fire 60 & HIIT 15. Wednesday was weigh in & I lost a whopping .2, well at least I didn't gain. At work we are updating our computer system & the guy who is doing it is from Florida & has lost 75 pounds on WW. So I asked him how does he keep losing. He travels alot so what he does is coffee & bananas, for brk, a smart one & fruit for lunch & a smart one & extra veggies for dinner. So I thought I would try it just to see what happens. I lost 2 pounds since wed. I probably won't do this all the time, maybe just when my weight lost seems to stall, but it did fix my scale!!

Wendy, for BR do you just write the excercises down or is your computer in your workout area?

Good Morning.

This morning's work out was the BR dated 6/28. It was short but really tough! WOW! :eek: Nothing added to it this morning. No time and to be honest, really not much in the way of extra energy either! :rolleyes:

Wiggie:: I have taken my lap top into my work out room for BR's but find it easier just to write it down or print it out and do it that way. Having the PC is helpful though when you aren't sure how to do a move b/c you can review the video/pics of it. I usually write a description of each move down as well to help remind me of what I am doing. It sounds like a PITA but I am used to it now and it doesn't bother me at all to do it this way.

Steph:: STS 6x per week!?!? :eek: YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!! When did school get back in session for your district? My son starts on Tuesday the 6th.

Barb:: IMAX2 is a fave of mine! Been too long since I've done it but I am obsessed with BR. I can't help it! :p Sorry about the fender bender. Glad no one was hurt.

Stacy:: Yes, just do what you can with the time that you have! Push hard and you can get a great work out in very little time. BR has taught me that 1000 times over!!!! :)
 
Wiggie: way to go...talk about taking the bull by the horns! I would starve if i could only eat a smart ones for supper! maybe if by mid october if i haven;t fixed my scale i'll try that!

Wendy: you make me laugh! you are a serious body rocker...sts is nothing compared to that! I started school last week and the students started Monday..i have been going to bed at 8:30...you forget how physical a job it is when you have been off for 7 weeks! Wednesday I actually DID NOTHING WORKOUT WISE:eek: After a full day back, filling out all my kids forms in duplicate (over 60 min to do that) I just wanted to whack my head agaimst the wall;)

Barb: is imax 2 the one you can only get in compilation?? can't remember..i have 2 of them and like both! I have been in a little of a step funk these days.. not too into it for some reason..i have been doing turbo fire and the hiits for my cardio..oh and plyo legs..

Stacy: They say that a lot of calorie expenditure is also based on our daily expenditure...so any little bit counts and it eventually adds up..!

i am going away for the week end to celebrate 10 years with my hubs.. i should check in on Sunday!

Steph:: You forget that I recently finished an STS rotation. I know what you are doing 6 days a week and I don't think I could do it! :eek: I repeat...YOU ARE MY HERO!!!! Sure BR is tough but most of the work outs are 12-20 minutes long. That's it. Not an hour!!!!!!:eek: So just keep quiet and accept the compliment, will you!? LOL :D:p Oh and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone. Friday workout was CLX push circuit 3. And yesterday workout was turbo fire ez class 45 and Cathe HiiT 30/30. Today I am taking a rest day.

This afternoon I am going to my in laws for a cookout.

I won't be weighing in tomorrow. I am going to a new WW meeting on Wednesday. So that will be my new weigh in day. Have s great holiday everyone !
 
Hello All!!

I had the family over yesterday for a big cookout to celebrate Labor Day, so needless to say I didn't count points. I did HIIT 25 twice yesterday & I am being very strict until weigh in. I will try to do 2, 1 hour workouts also. So if I don't lose Wednesday, I promise not to whine. No work for me tomorrow, yay!!

Steph, about the WW guy, I forgot to mention that he has a cheat meal every Saturday. Oh & I tried clicking on the smiley faces but it doesn't work for me.

Hi Ladies.

Got back from our casino weekend y'day. Short work outs on sat/sun while there. Rested y'day. Got up this morning and did a jump rope warm up + Tonique Premier squat segment, a burpee/mountain climber circuit that went like this-10 burpees/25 mcs/10 burpees/75 mcs + 125 bicycle crunches to finish it off. I was fried when I was done! :eek:

Only gained .8 from weekend and am still within less then 2# of goal. Hoping to get back to goal shortly!!!!! I got back on track with eating as soon as I got home y'day!

Got back from my anniversary weekend in mt.tremblant at a spa!
To be re-done often i hope!

This week is sts rest week so no weights: yesterday did imax3 and low max! love low max..totally fun and not too much jumping:)

Food wise...well soso..chocolate munchies this weekend:eek:

Weigh in is wednesday..i didn't want to get discouraged after my weekend away;)

bbl with my workouts...i am leaning towards low max again...maybe ccc but more towards lowmax..
 
Good evening. Today I took a rest day. I did horrible with my eating on Sunday so I probably show a gain for tomorrow weigh in. I will accept it. Yesterday workout was CLX push circuit 1.
 
Morning Ladies!

Today's work out was KCM Split Sessions but I made it a circuit by jumping rope in between the weight lifting segments. Good stuff.

Scale is heading in the right direction. :)

Well I am up 1lb this week. I figure with crap eating and a lot of drinking over the weekend.

Today workout was CLX Push Circuit 2 and turbo fire hiit 25.

Well I managed to hang on to my 2 lb lost over the weekend, my weigh in was this am. Today's workout was All About Abs with Mindy Mylrea. My allergies are acting up so I wasn't feeling very energetic. I'm going to hit the shower and go to bed early. Dinner was a Smart one pasta with spinach & ricotta cheese & a side of mixed veggies seasoned with ginger & soy sauce I think, very filling.

When you post scroll down to where they have additional options (right after the part where you sumit reply or preview post, there is a blue box that says additional options , there are three little boxes that you can check off under mucellaneous options...maybe you have checked off the disable smiles in text options????

Now back to real business...yesterday i did low max yet again followed by the s90 ultimate ball workout...

I have had to change my workout routine a little but since going back to work... i used to work out in early or late afternoon but now i have to help my dd with 8th grade math:eek: so i have been doing my workouts during either my breaks or at lunch at work.. we'll see how that goes...so far so good!

still stuck at 129..no gain ,...no loss...and i have to admit i have been eating pretty good since last weekend...yesterday we ordeed pizza and i had one measely slice of plain cheese pizza:D (patting myself on the back right about now)

Today's work out was jump rope for a warm up, IMAX2 blasts only 1-5, ankle weight work from BBL High and Tight and a 2:40min prone plank elbow hold. Another goodie! Have some nice chest DOMS from KCM y'day.

Steph:: Good job gettin' in your work outs around your crazy schedule!!! Having only one piece of plain cheese pizza is great will power girl!!! I love pizza!!!!

Wiggie:: Congrats on maintaining the 2# loss!

Barb:: Way to burn off the weekend's eats and drinks! It was a holiday! No worries. Get right back on the wagon and you'll be fine. :)
 
Wow Wendy you come up with great workouts all the time WTG!

Today I just did some housework. Just didn't have the motivation to do a workout. I even took an afternoon nap zzzzz. Tomorrow I am going to try and double up on my workouts.

No workout for me in awhile. I've decided to take some time off from working out, and counting points. Work is too busy and I'm too tired and trying to "do it all" is wearing me out. I'm not pigging out, just eating what I want and not worrying about it right now. I do plan to get back into it but I need a mental break. I have been reading along still here every day and kudos to all of you who are still plugging away. You're all still a great inspiration to me!!
