WW - CORE or Flex Progam?

Hi everbody:

I'm wondering if there are any of you out there that are on Weight Watchers? If so, are you doing the new CORE program or Flex? I started the CORE right away - something new and I needed that, but I feel I'm eating too much and the variety isn't there that I had with Flex. I've gotten in a big rut and need to make a change or re-comit to the CORE.

Any suggestions or ideas????? What are some of you doing? Have any of you switched from one to the other with good results?

Marcia.....Hi, how are you??? I LOVE Core!!!! I have only lost 4 lbs. in 7 weeks, but one week I had was bad, and at first I counted my activity points and used my WPA, and I was eating too much. It is very easy to get bored on the food, but you get bored on anything. We all have the tendency to eat the same things all the time. I have been scouring the WW's boards for some good ideas, and I found this really good website: http://www.healthdiscovery.net/forums/. They have alot of recipes on there, and are very nice. I have seen some people switch back and forth between plans just to shake things up. It is always an option. Good luck on whatever you decide to do!!!!!

Hi again Lori! I personally find the Flex program to be my favorite! I lost 2 pounds the first week with 10 to go. I originally lost 23 pounds with WW flex points a couple years ago. I like that you can go between the two plans though but I find counting points allows me to eat some of the foods I love without feeling so deprived. I do not like enough fruits and vege's to follow the core program. It sounds like they are both effective as it's quality and quanity of food taken in vs. what we put out with regards to activity level and the like. I'm going to check out your website Lori! I will always be a member of WW on line now as I need to go back to counting points after a holiday or vacation or off time so I don't keep gaining and losing the same 10! That weight has a way of creeping back on. Good luck!
