WW Check In--Week of June 12th!

Hey wendy: Are they nuts a WW? you are totally ok with up to 2 pounds per week!

Today i have done shoulders and arms from p90x. Now that i have done my chin-up my next goal besides two chinups:D is to see the outline (however faint) of my deltoids so i have been attacking my shoulders 2x a week!
today i used 20 pounds for 2 of the shoulder exercises. I have to say i really like the shoulders and arm workout combo.

Still havent done CCC but the day is still young!

BTW still haven't attampted your mountain climber challange:(

Steph:: I've been saying that I need to revisit P90X for a long time now and you are making me want to do it even more! Some day!!!! Good job attacking the shoulders but um, you better make sure they are well rested before trying the MC Challenge! ;) Tired/sore shoulders + MC Challenge = :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:!!!! LOL As far as the weight loss goes...yep that what I thought too! IDK why it said that!? :confused::rolleyes: So how was the bbq y'day?
 
bbq was fun! the teacher had such a great idea... At my sons school they have children who graduate to regular schools every year (he is in a school that specializes in children with physical or speak difficulties. So often the speech children eventually leave once that is conquered) So after graduation the teacher organised a family picnic lunch to celebrate the graduating children. Some of the kids actually cried because they don't want to leave the school. I am so blessed that this school actually exists and is free!

All in all a great day at the picnic. Its fun talking with other parents who "get it":D

Speaking of the mountain climbers have you hit the dvd when cathe does the ones Rock Climbers when you are like spiderman....crazy stuff...
 
Steph:: Oh I am sure it's nice to talk to parents who can relate to what you and your son face on a daily basis. No one can really know who isn't in that situation. Glad the picnic was fun. So the school is free!? That's awesome and quite unusual! :) I have done the move you describe I think-I call them standing mountain climbers cause that's what Shaun T. refers to them as in Insanity. I don't recall them being in a Cathe video though...hmmm...the only one I can come up with where they might be is the original BootCamp maybe???
 
Rock climbers and they are in the sts plyo legs...cant remember which one of the plyos but definately in one of the plyos. you are still on the ground but instead just bringing your leg in you have to bring your knee to your elbow...total oblique goodness. Fun but a little tough..
 
Yeah-sounds basically like the same move but I have only done the first plyo legs dvd one time. Don't remember them being in it so they are probably on one of the ones I haven't done yet! I am a fan of standing oblique work too btw. I think it's fabulous! It gets the job done! :D
 
Man, I've missed out on all the conversation!! Nothing on tap for me today. Friday is my cheat meal/no workout day of the week/date night with hubby. We ate pizza now out the door to watch some live music at a local coffee shop.

I love the P90X Shoulders & Arms too!

Don't know what's on tap for tomorrow yet. I'm thinking of doing the High Reps Upper Body premix again with some cardio, then possibly Yoga on Sunday. I really need to fit in a good stretch!
 
Good morning! I plan to work off some of last night's pizza with LIC Upper Body circuit premix. I was going to do a tougher workout, ie. harder cardio and a more thorough UB but I'm still a bit sore from High Reps. I'm definitely doing yoga tomorrow, my muscles feel tight, especially the hamstrings!

Wendy...I read in another post you were interested in doing Supreme 90 down the road. Count me in! (I'll modify some cardio I'm sure but I'm interested in joining in!)

I have my nephew's bday party to go to and then an adults only buffet/music night at the zoo. I hope not to over-indulge!

I did a double header this morning in order to rest guilt free tmrw! STS d38 (SRL) and d28 (C&B)! I was crying for mommy by about halfway thru the second work out (C&B)!!!:eek: Good stuff though! I feel extemely accomplished! :D

Stacy:: Yeah, if we don't change our minds (LOL), I will be doing S90 with one of the gals from my current STS check in. Will probably start it in September. I will keep you posted on that so you can join if you want to. Good job doing LIC w/lingering DOMS today! Enjoy your events today w/o TOO much indulging! ;)

You know that i am going to end up ordering supreme 90 now so i can keep in touch with you gals;)

Yesterday i didnt even try ccc i went for a walk and today i have walked 2 hours..its carzy but when its nice outside i just want to walk. It is actually my favorite form of exercise but i live in Canada and it is so cold most of the time (nov-april) that i generally only get the chance now in the summer. Next week i definately have to do some serious cardio. tomorrow besides all my walking i hope to do chest and back from p90 and maybe ill try to convince myself to do a hiit..

Chest and back and shoulders and arms are my favorite p90's

Steph:: Walking is nice. I did a lot of it last year but havent done ANY this yr yet. Booh! S90 is only $20! Guiltless purchase if you ask me! ;) An ez enable too! LOL A 6 pack? Well yes I do BUT you can only see it in good lighting. :)~ I guess you could call it a "light" 6 pack! LOL

I have a 2-4 pak... you can see the upper 2-4 but my little pre-meno-pot covers the bottom ones:D
I think i must seriously due you 500 mountain climbers.... do you do them daily? maybe tomorrow... (ok i have been saying that for a week now)

On a dissapointed with myself note.. i just gave in and had some doritos...not even hungry but they were there..kwim:eek:
off to brush my teeth before i destroy the whole day!:p
