Wow! That is amazing and totally inspirational! I've often wondered how aging will affect my exercise routine!!! Those two are amazing. Thanks for sharing!
I saw this Mom and daughter team on The Rosie O'Donnell Show a few years ago (actually, must have been around 6 years ago, because Sophie was an infant) and thought they were inspirational then! It's amazing that they're still going strong, especially the Mom.
I saw the site late last night so I didn't check out the videos yet. I am just so very amazed at the muscle tone of that 75 year old Mom...they are just so inspirational.......Carole
Mari...I am sure you have alot of muscle tone.......I would side on the genetic factor also...my Mom was not a bodybuilder, but my Dad was a gymnast......Carole
The next time someone gives me the excuse "I'm too old" -- I'm gonna point them to that site. I've always known diet and exercise can make a HUGE difference in how well we age, but it is nice to see some proof!
Definitely a factor. And with this mother/daughter team, I recall seeing her on a TV show where people were touting the benefits of growth hormone shots (along with a very buff guy in his 70's), so it's not all "naturally" obtained.
They remind me of my own mom (57) and grandma (78). They aren't bodybuilders but they are both in great shape and workout all the time. My grandma even goes jogging with me when I go down to visit her.
Wow Dani!! Your Mom amd Grandma look great. That is so cool your Grandma jogs with you..I have a cute 80 year old neighbor that sometimes jogs just a bit with me when I pass by his house...thanks for sharing the pics......Carole
We'll at least you know you've got great genes to work with. Your mom and grandma both look incredible. Your grandmother doesn't even look close to being her age, and your mother could easily pass as your sister.
Thanks for sharing this inspirational site Carole.
