I wouldn't. But I can't imagine being in that situation, because ALL my windows (and door with window in) have shades or curtains on that I can close. I wouldn't imagine having bare windows, even if I lived on the 23rd floor of some building. Even if supposedly no one can look in. And when night falls, and it's darker outside than in, all the curtains get closed.
Paranoid much? Maybe, but I was the victim of a peeping Tom when I was in grad school, nude, sitting on my bed doing homework, with the shades down, but a slight breeze lifted the edges slightly once in a while, and that was all the motivation this perv needed. My-male--roommate went outside with a baseball bat after our neighbor called and told him she saw a guy standing and watching me. Unfortunately--or fortunately for the guy?--he was no longer there when my roommate got outside. It's a creepy feeling to know that someone has been watching you naked and you don't even know who it is.
Whenever I see a movie where a woman is undressing or even just walking around her house at night with the shades up, I think "CLOSE THE SHADES!"
My neighbor has no such qualms. She sits on her sofa watching TV late at night with the front shades open. We live on a dead end, but there are still people who drive in (who didn't read the sign) and can look in on her (I actually banged up the rear bumper of my previous car running into a light post while backing into my drive and being distracted by trying to see what the heck she was doing with the shades up---nothing interesting, just chowing down and watching TV. )
