Would you buy a DVD from this woman?

Hi everyone!

I am a long time member at Cathe.com but haven't been doing a lot of posting lately. I first "met" Cathe online in the Pregnancy Forum - we both had our second babies at around the same time. The odd thing was that I had never tried any of her DVDs. I was so impressed that I bought the Intensity Series and I've been a big fan ever since!

After spending much of 2005 and 2006 preparing for Figure Comps, my DH and I were posted to a fairly remote part of Australia with no gym access. What to do? Pull out my Cathe DVDs of course! I've been having such fun with them lately! That then led me to think that all Aussies should be able to access Cathe DVDs without paying International Shipping.

I have gone out on a limb and set up a website to do just this. I have put it in my signature line as well as my Blog. I don't know if I posted what I thought about doing Lowmax blasts with a Medball - thanks AJock }(

Anyway if you come across any Aussies or New Zealanders wanting to know if they can purchase Cathe over here would you mind sending them this way?

It's nice to see so many of us enjoying our Cathe workouts (and having the great bods to show for it :9 )

Thanks a million
Liz N

Thanks Liz. As an Aussie Cathe fan this is definitely very interesting to me. I have all the Cathe DVDs but may be looking to expand my collection from the DVDs with other instructors offered on your website (which btw looks great as do you!).

Hi Megs,

It's lovely to meet another Aussie here! Most Aussies have never heard of Cathe, but once they see how terrific her DVDs are, they won't look back! I'll be doing the PreSale similar to the CK Sales format when details are finalized for Cathe's new workouts. I'm looking forward to them already. Should be a lot of fun!

I see you've been here since 2003. How did you find out about Cathe?

Hugs

Hi Liz,

Great to hear that you will be doing the PreSale. Can't wait for the new workouts - always very exciting.

My home video fitness journey started way back in 1987 with Kathy Smith when my first child was one year old. I then moved on to the Firm in about 1989 when my second child was born (in Brisbane btw). It was so difficult to purchase Firm videos then - they didn't distribute through Collage or ship them directly to Australia. Fortunately for me, my brother was working in the USA for several years so I was able to get them mailed to him and then when he came home for holidays I would be able to get my hands on my long anticipated videos!

I think I ordered my first Cathe video via Collage in about 1995 but didn't really click at that time. I added running to my Firm workouts but around the time of the Intensity Series I got hooked on Cathe, purchased the collection over time and haven't looked back (and in the meantime, had my third child who is now nearly three)!

Best wishes,
Meg

Dear Meg

My youngest is 4 and a half - I have two kids - don't think I can work up the courage to have a third, so I applaud you. I remember being amazed by how quickly Cathe got back into shape after her son was born to film the Intensity Series - I certainly did not look anything like her 6 months post partum. Wow.

Do you know if there are any other Aussies about? Even though our North American counterparts are very friendly, it's nice to meet someone from my "neck of the woods".

Cheers
Liz :)

Hi Liz

My third baby was a little bit of a surprise (my other two were 17 and 14 when he was born) and I had to re-learn everything but he is such a joy! As far as getting back in shape - it's still a work in progress for me and I too am amazed at how quickly Cathe got in shape post partum. BTW I had a brief look at your blog this morning - wow. You have done an incredible job and are a fabulous inspiration yourself!

I'm pretty sure we're not the only Aussies here - I recall reading Aussie postings on the Cathe site in the past.

Take care,
Meg
