Would CTX series be good for weightloss?

I am interested in losing about 10-15 pounds of fat, but I have 3 kids under 6 and sometimes it is hard for me to workout for an hour would the ctx series be good for fatloss or is this just good for maitenance?Thank you :)
 
Yes! Jillybean, who no longer posts here much but who definitely lurks, went down 2 dress sizes with the CTX series alone.

I LOVE CTX it is WONDERFUL series!! VERY VERSATILE ...... you can use it as is or as a add on.

I love CTX, but I recommend you get it on DVD. I have it on VHS and it is versatile but on DVD the uses are limitless. I plan to get it on DVD as soon as I can. My favorite thing about CTX is that I can use it as it is (training one body part per day) or I can do a rotation training two body parts per day (of course if you do that it's going to take a little bit more than an hour), and the thing I use most are the CTX cardios, I can add a CTX cardio to almost all my rotations. CTX I think is a must and right now you can work a little less than an hour so the series will fit perfectly. If you have more time in the future and buy longer series you can mix and match a CTX cardio with any other strength training workout or you can match one or two CTX body parts with other cardio workouts.
 
Right now, I am doing the hardcore videos (High step challenge,Musclemax etc)3x a week. I have all the hardcores and was thingking about doing GS DVDs everyday and try supplementing with some sort of cardio that I can do with my kids. I thought that the CTX series would be good, especially since I am planning on another baby soon. Right now I weigh about 123 and I am 5'2. THe tanita scale says I have a whoppping 31% body fat.UGH!!!!! I am still nursing a baby, hopefully that has something to do with it. Any advice is appreciated!!!!! P.S> I know I really need to clean up my diet, a pound of muddy bears is not going to get me lean :(

I did a one body part per day with the GS that is real doable with kids!!(I have 4) Some days I would do the wt. work in the am. and then do my cardio 30-45 min in the evening, or all at once. I would do CTX cardio's, timesavers and Imax3 and lowmax premixes 4-5 days a week. I also added to some body parts like back, shoulders etc..... Working each body part 20-30 min. I really enjoyed this rotation. When I was nursing I ALWAYS held on to an extra 10 lbs and then when I stopped nursing the pounds just MELTED off?? Good luck!!

I believe you're on the right track. Especially since you're going to try to add in something for additional days. Just make sure you plan on a rest day or two.
