WORKOUT Wednesday 11/03

Afternoon all,

Did PUB up premix and added on S&H chest/back pyramid style (and I was lifting even heavier in S&H than in PUB) . Great w/o though.

Didn't run last Monday, didn't realise that with the clock going backwards, it would be pitch dark at my usual run timex( And we had no lights. So I decided it would be unsafe to go out.

Got the lights yesterday: white light to the front, red light to the back and can be strapped either to our arms or to the ankle. Not sure what would be more comfortable or safer. It should hopefully make us very visible on those unlit forest roads we run on for all those car drivers in a hurry to get home.

Won't be running today either. The dad of a friend of mine had a brain hemorrhage and she asked if I would take care of her kids today when school's out. So today is a non-running day as well.

Good Morning all:

Yesterday, I did 30 minutes of Abs, IMAX1, and a full-body weight training session. I slept really well last night. TOday, I am going to take it easy and just do Boot Camp and abs.
 
Hi Dutchie....sorry about your friends Dad...:(...you are great to help...you had a good workout too, don't worry about not running.

Beverly (run4fun) The weather here had been good although we have gotten alot of rain early. I have done a few runs wet!!! I have only run on a treadmill a couple of times..I prefer running in the weather....I am currently training for a marathon so I am running about 40 miles a week. You can barge right in here...We like new posters!!!

I am doing about 14-21 minutes of PlyoX and then about 20 minutes of Nordic track, P90X Chest, Shoulders, Triceps and AbRipperX....have a good workout ladies....:)...Carole
 
This morning I did IMAX2. I wasn't looking forward to this at all, because I had done the Viper on Saturday, and the Gauntlet on Monday. I was beginning to feel intervalled out. Turns out, the workout felt pretty easy!!! I had a really fun time, and am very pleased that my conditioning is improving with all this repetition.

I'm thinking that a fun, different, way to do IMAX2 is to do the intervals in reverse order. Maybe next time.....

Good Day All! This morning I did StepWorks and worked on some ab choreography for classes. I'm loving my step these days but feeling a bit tender in my left achilles, better ice it and take a break from the step for a few daysx(

Upper body work is leaf raking this afternoon. Hope the sun holds out, it's been lovely up here this fall. I have never had a gladiola still blooming in my garden in November before this year. I was shaking my head to hear they had 8" snow in Amarillo Texas!!! Go figure.......:)

Hi all! I did IMAX 2 this morning. Not too bad. Those plie squats in the 9th circuit are so much fun, yet so not fun at the same time. :) Still want to do some abs tonight. Ended up doing ME abs last night. Thanks for the advice. I really like that ab workout. Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Ladies,

I will be running at lunch time today. I will only do 4 miles on a hilly course. I will be running a half marathon this sunday, so I'm tapering.

As I am waiting until Friday to start the November rotation, today I did PowerMax for the first time. What a blast! My son was home from school and he commented to me when I emerged from the basement that it sounded like I was having a party down there!

Tammy, isn't working out with Cathe a party all the time?:) I don't have Powermax what do you think of it?

Suzanne - Aren't you sore after that workout you had? Wow, I would be bed-ridden;)

Today I did PLB as a substitute in Cathe's November Rotation.

Hi all,

I did Day 3 of the November rotation, so S&H Shoulders and PLB stability ball work and I did abs off of All Step. My legs were shaking during the ab work, I must have really worked them:7 :+ :p

I really like PowerMax, even if Cathe and crew are wearing thong leotards! It starts out with a nice warmup and then there are three step sections that gradually increase in intensity. It is a nice pure cardio for a day that you are short on time or just want a good cardio workout. I think from start to finish it is under one hour.

As I still consider myself a Cathe newbie, it was nice to use one of her first tapes and see where some of the later moves came from. I was able to do this workout with minimal mistakes and I can't say that about all of her videos. Sometimes I have to keep rewinding and rewinding before I can get a move downpat.

So, bottom line is good simple choreography and fun music! Oh, and I was sweating by the end....
