HI girls,

Wendy, just keep at it. It took me 4 maybe even 5 times to get Imax2. I actually did it in slow motion interval by interval to figure out the choreography:)

Carole, what a nice surprise, didn't expect you back yet. Did a lot of chatting with your friends?

Mari, are you trying to get all the workouts in you missed? You'll be fit within days, really.

Annette, I always look red when I do cardio. You should see my face after a run:)

Well I did a 8.7K run today with CTX UB added on. I actually think I've past another mile stone and didn't notice. See, I used to think running more than 5K was a daunting distance. Nowadays I just run without thinking about it. Like today. I don't think about how many K's I still have to go anymore, I just notice at some point that the run is (nearly) over. Sometimes after my shower I feel like running again (which ofcourse my knees will stop me from doing:D ) And I'm not tired anymore when I've finished my run. I think somewhere I have progressed from being a walker who tries to be a runner to being a real runner. Amazing.

I know Interval 9 in Imax2 is always a killer for me even after doing the workout many times!

Dutchie I did try and read back on a few of the workout threads and saw you were having some knee trouble..:(...yuk. I have found during injuries that it is usually distance that gets you. I think if you keep your distance short like you have it should be better for awhile. And yes....I think you are real runnuer! :)

Mari, I haven't even weighed but I know how you feel about feeling out of shape. I did well in Sante Fe as far as eating, and southwestern cuisine caters to vegetarians but not really vegans, so I did have a few dishes with goat cheese, but no animal flesh still. I also did alot of walking and even went on a hike inside a national park the went thru some cave dwellings that the Indians used to live in. It really was great fun.

Annette, I too get a bit red in the face when exercising, especially in the summer. Sounds like you have been busy with the boys! Have you gotten and sun time?? I only got one day :(...

So for today I am resuming P90X week 10 but with do Arms & Shoulders instead of Back & Biceps and a 5 mile run plus Ab Ripper....have a great day ladies...:)...Carole
 
Hi all,

Carole- the boys keep me busy, and yes last week I got some sun but this week they are working on the foundation for the new addition we are adding so I don't feel comfortable laying in the sun with shirtless men in the back yard,LOL!!:eek: :+ :D I will get some more sun next week.

Mari- It is glad to see you back. Glad the vacation was a good one.

I did PS Strong Legs and ABs today and was able to do a 60 pounds squat and the same for sit and stand squats. I even did the lunges except for the static one and I didn't do the quarter dead lifts but I did the rest and I rode the bike during the things that I didn't do.:+ :) My weight is still up 4-5 pounds and my monthly is late and I found another sugar alcohol that makes me sick.;( I hate the process of elimination because if you hit a wrong one you are sick for a day. UGH!! I also help to carry in 8 sheets of drywall yesterday and 7 of them were 12 fters.:eek: :eek: Extra workout there,LOL!!

Hello ladies

Just came back from the beach.... Huge waves due to Alex, but it was fun.

The fitness is coming back, and the gained 3 pounds are finally lost as of today.This morning I did 30 min row intervals, very intense, max hr was 176. After that ME upper body and abs. It's nice to do Cathe again!:) Return to P90X next week.

I have that red face too!

Wow, I'm impressed with what all of you have done today! Great Job!

I did ME this morning and plan on doing IMAX 2 or Bootcamp tomorrow. I ate dinner at grandma's house(the food there is very hard to resist) and I ate far more than I should have :eek: In fact, I weigh 5 pounds more now than I did this morning when I woke up! Hopefully most of that will be gone tomorrow.

Anyway, I'll check in tomorrow and let you all know - Have a great night!
 
Wendy, pm weight in? That's dangerous...

I had a second wo tonight, I jumped on the Nordictrack for 30 min while my son was running on the treadmill. We were watching his Skipnot DVD -- I am a good mother ... :) :) :)
