Rover and I did a 10K run. Because of the numerous walk breaks it took us 1.22hrs to complete.
BTW At the moment I'm running in big 5K circles. And I let Rover run free for a 2.5K stretch (no roads), then put him on a leash for about another 2.5K where we have to run on a road (a car passes about every 5 minutes). And simply repeat the same stretch. I think we both enjoy the run without the leash. He can decide how fast he wants to run. And there's plenty of time when we run with the leash to learn him to stay close to me instead of pulling me ahead. I have to admit though, Rover would probably call my "running" a fast walk
