Good morning,

This morning was PLB. My glutes are already a bit tight.}(

Well, I hope to get in a cardio workout tonight as the husband goes off to play basketball with the guys.

Did anyone see the post with this mish mosh from A-Jock:

Rhythmic Step warm-up (or I-Max 1 warm-up);
HSTA Cardio-Only premix
Step Blast Blasts Only
I-Max 2 Blasts Only
Boot Camp cardio only premix.

I'm thinking I need to change things up a bit so I'll try it but it just might kill me! Man, where does she come up with this stuff?

Good morning Wendy...Yes A-Jocks mish moshes are quite tough....hard for me though as most of my Cathe workouts are on VHS...:(...good luck though!!!

Today for me is PHH Thigh trimmer with a bit of weight added and a 6 mile run. Enjoy your workouts....:)...Carole

I did SH Legs&Shoulders, plus CTX All Step. Changed my mind from yesterdays post. I'm a woman I can do that, right!:)

I will be doing Step&Intervals (just the warm up and cardio) plus IMax (just the intervals) tonight.

Morning all! It was ME for me this morning. I upped my weight and was feeling good. I meant to do some cardio too, but ran out of time. Unfortunately I know I won't be able to get it in tonight either.

Today is powerflex class at my gym followed by KPC abs at home.

Wendy...great workout! If you do try that insane mish mosh, good luck and let us know if you are still alive}( :D!

Morning all,

I woke up a 1/2 hr. later this morning x( so I was unable to complete my rotation. But I did complete S&H back and biceps of the rotation, but only did a few minutes of Kickbox. Will try to complete Kickbox tonight.

Good morning,

This morning was Step & Intervals cardio, followed by SH Chest, Triceps & abs. Legs were stiff and tired from y-days' bout, but S&I got them feeling good again.

Laurie, I am pretty sure that this is the sort of workout that will cause my fingertip to go numb in a few hours. I paid very close attention to my motions and noticed that my left elbow clicked quite frequently. I am pretty sure that the problem is stemming from the elbow. I've been doing lots of tricep, forearm/wrist, and shoulder stretches. If it's truly a joint problem, then perhaps I'll have to consider lowering my weights while doing tricep work. Don't really want to do that, but I also don't want to end up irreparably damaging the joint. I'll see if the stretching does any good.

Going to get some work done. Talk to you all a bit more later.

Hey ladies. even though i was the first to post my wo y-day, i never got around to it. alot of things came up and it never happened. I HATE that! So, i am going ot try again today to do Imax2 and ME lower split. i hope all of you are having a good day. that mish mosh sounds very scary!!!x(

Hi All! Oh my gosh Wendy, let us know how that mish mosh goes (and how long it takes), it sounds wicked, hat's off to you for trying it. Your right, it is good to change things up! :)

Today I did CTX Kickbox cardio, BC kickbox only and 1/2 cardio only. Then it was upper body, BC upper body only and ME upper body. I'm having fun playing with the IS dvd's.

Carole, any chance of Santa putting a dvd in his sack for you;). My Cathe's are mostly VHS too.

Laurie, I really like the sound of SI cardio and IMAX intervals only, quick, very intense and fun, I'll give it a try soon.

Katie, doesn't it feel wonderful to lift heavier? It's like one of life's little victories! Nice job:)

Sandra, if you'd like you should try putting ice (an ice pack or bag of frozen veggies) on your elbow after your workout to try and allay any swelling that may be occurring there. Excuse me if you already know this but it's my nature to tell folks these things. Make absolutely sure to have a towel or cloth between your elbow and the ice. Leave the ice on for at least 10 minutes no longer than 20. It will probably feel cold, then burning then achey and then perhaps numb. If it's numb, remove it. Check every few minutes for blanching, if your skin gets too white, remove it. Take it off for 20 minutes and ice it again if you like. After it's iced let it rest again then massage it a minute or two to warm it up and stretch it out again. Ice flushes out swelling and allows fresh blood flow into the region when it's removed. It's like magic for soft tissue injuries. Hope this helps.

Sandy - Yes, I love ME. It is actually my favorite strength training workout of Cathe's. Everyone is feeling much better, thank you. I am hoping it decided to pass me by.

Laurie - It does feel great to lift heavier. I feel like I've really accomplished something. Especially since now I am lifting heavier than Cathe (well heavier than she does in her DVD's. In real life I know she would leave me in the dust:7 )
