Good morning,

This morning I did S&H Back and Biceps and Abs - WOW-What a workout! My chest is really sore from S&H Chest & Triceps yesterday but my triceps don't feel toooo bad;( .

Hi, Today is CircuitMax and Abs. Two days ago I did MIS with added walking lunges. My butt is still sore. What a wonderful workout.

I am already at work where I will do CircuitMax in the lab.
 
Good morning all,

Today i am doing an SJP premix- Step and weight circuit, followed by ME upper body premix and either ME or KPC abs.

Sandra, quick question....I see for the rotation you set up on Wed. it says CM followed by L&G....did you mean both in their entirety or a portion of each??? I usually only workout about 60-70 minutes during the week and then I go longer during the weekends:)! BTW, I couldn't do CK yesterday:( because of a lack of space in my basement (work being done upstairs so lots of stuff thrown downstairs!) so I did IMAX2 instead}( !

Annette, I'm soo glad you're feeling better....I will keep my fingers crossed for you:D
 
Wendy...I really like S&H biceps! It usually gets me sore.

Suzanne....tough workout. I haven't tried walking lunges....I bet the really get the glutes!

I am doing Leaner Legs, a few segments from Plyox and then a 7 or 8 mile run. Have a great day ladies....:)...Carole
 
Hi Carole, Sandy, Suzanne and Wendy.Today is IMAX 2 for me. I did not work yesterday because I went to the cinema. I saw the film the Manchurian's candidate with Denzel Whasintong and Meryl Steep. It is a great film. Have a great day.

Good morning! A quick post today because I have to catch a bus in 35 minutes, and I haven't showered yet!

This morning I did Power Circuit + CTX Upper Body + Power Circuit planks/abs/stretch. A long workout, but terrifically thorough. For the first time I realized that CATHE DOES THE FIRST SET OF PUSH UPS WITH BENT KNEES!!! AAAAARGH!! After two years, I've FINALLY reached the point where I can do them all with straight legs, and my four year old daughter, lying on the couch eating her pb and honey sandwich, tells me to put my knees down because, "Look, Mommy, look! Cathe's knees are down!" I've always been too busy concentrating on the darn push ups to notice. Oh well.

Sandy, to cut make the workout shorter, skip the weight segments of Circuit Max; do only the cardio portions. Secondly, do only the standing leg portion of Legs & Glutes. That should shave off lots of time. And don't do the Circuit Max cool-down/stretch, or the L&G warm up. I'll bet you had fun with IMAX2 yesterday! Good work!

Morning all. PLB at 5:00 this morning, followed by the cardio section of All Step. What a great workout! I have so much energy now. I hope it lasts the rest of the day. Need to do some abs tonight too!

It was hard going up the stair. Tonight I will run 6 miles.

Good Day All! I did a mish mosh today and had a great workout. First 1/2 of IMAX followed by Leaner Legs (good workout eh Carole?!}( :), boy that's a lot of low ends at the end of plie squats, woo hoo!)
I finished up with ME abs and stretch.

Made the bus (in a big rush), but I'm at work now, and all is very peaceful.

Hi Katie, I hope you cure those energy problems really soon. Are you still up at time or two at night with your baby?

Laurie, that's an intense workout. Cathe put the exact thing in her January/04 rotation, followed the next day by the second half of IMAX, and CTX Upper Body. I'll be doing Meaner Legs tomorrow, and those plie squats always do me in; I finish them, but I am literally groaning out loud to get through the last 2.

Sandy, I was thinking that since you did IMAX2 yesterday, instead of Cardio Kicks, and since you are short on time tomorrow, what might work better for you would be the following:

Wed: KPC/LG premix (one that combines the KPC drills with the standing leg work of LG; I don't have my premix sheets with me, so I can't recall which one it is, or how long. I think it runs about 60-70 mins). Finish with KPC abs, if you have time. Then,

Fri: instead of KPC, do either Cardio Kicks or Circuit Max. Since you will be doing some PUB work on Friday, and want to fit everything in within an hour or so, you could do Cardio Kicks cardio, including only the leg drills (skip all the punching drills), then do the PUB work. These are just suggestions, of course.

Okay, now I should get back to what they pay me to do around here.

Hi Sandra....hey, were you reading my mind?? LOL, I was thinking the exact same thing for Wednesday:D !! I really like the rotation you set up because there is plenty of cardio mixed in with the weight work. Yes, IMAX 2 was so much FUN!!! Yelled at the tv during interval 9 but still fun anyway:D! Glad you were able to make the bus on time:)

Stayfit, have fun with IMAX2.....that is truly one of my all time favorite Cathe workouts:7 !!
 
Yes Laurie....Leaner (Meaner) Legs kicked my butt today....I about screamed on the plie squats!!!! Made the 7 mile run after rather tough....must be still recovering from the 18 mile run my friend pushed me thru on Sunday...:)...Carole
 
Carole and Laurie,

Have you ever noticed in that workout that when Cathe puts the barbell down (especially after those plie squats!) she backs away from it like it's about to bite her? Even The Cathinator has a limit, hey?

It bites me right in the beeeehind, every time.

Josie, Susanz, Mari, Laurie, thank you all so much for your encouragement and kind words. Those are the little things that make one push through harder times.

Mari, you're so right about hitting really hard cardio when stress is at its highest. I was laughing out loud when I read your post as I remembered me hitting Imax2 the next morning after he left us. I drove home from my parents house where we'd spent the night, and after almost no sleep I have no idea where all that energy came from. I don't think I ever pushed so hard (or saw my heartrate rise as high on my HRM!!!). And yes, I did feel better afterwards, thinking okay, this is one thing he can't take away from me, no matter what...;)I suspect I must have been quite a sight, with a manic Imax2 gleam in my eyes...O))) (them being all red and swollen anyway from no sleep and crying...!!!)

Laurie, I'm so glad to hear you have found peace and happiness in a similar situation, it's always an encouragement. And with 3 kids, I do have a lot of respect for you! You should be very proud of yourself.

Anyway, it was Rhythmic step and S&H shoulders today. I'm thinking I want to work extra on my shoulders, as I like what it does to my overall bodyshape. Plus, maybe it'll just symbolize the extra strength I'll need to carry everything I must in the near future...;)

I'm contemplating on what to do tomorrow... maybe I'll wait and see what everybody else has done today, I love getting new ideas from everyone. Maybe one of the Terminators... hmm...

Hi I did PS Back, Biceps and Abs minus the lower back work. Then did the Cardio Conditioning premix off of KPC. My smoothie is ok with my system again, so I am a happy camper. Put in some extra egg protein powder (that doesn't work as a smoothie alone) in it for extra protein and it tasted ok.:D :9

Maria...I just went back and read your post yesterday. wow...I am so sorry....and you and your beautiful girls will be in my prayers also. I do agree with Mari as a hard workout does help sometimes with stress. Imax2 must have felt great! Take good care and know we are thinking about you...:)....Carole
 
Thanks Sandra! Actually I ate more yesterday and have been eating more today and my energy level has been much better. Luckily, I must say, my wonderful daughter has been sleeping through the night for quite some time now. The thing that is interesting is that during the day I would have these energy issues, but once I would get in to bed at night I wouldn't be tired in the least. I usually get around 6 hours sleep at night, so not too bad. Thanks again for all your help and suggestions!

Hello All

It is so nice to see this "daily" thread grow practically day by day and to get to "know" each other a little better.:)

I did PSLegs today and 30 min endorphin rush on the ellipical. No time for abs but I'll do doubles tomorrow!
