Forgot to set my alarm so I overslept this morning But I did run straight after work.
Ran 8.3K continuously in 59:10min (slightly slower than Sunday, when I ran 9K in exactly 60 minutes) running up the overpass at full throttle 3 times (hope this counts as hill work) at the end of my run. Jogging easily down again. Don't know how my legs did it. My HR went all the way up to 172 running "uphill". Going up the overpass is a 330 meter stretch. I will be doing this once a week increasing my repeats slowly up to the week before race day.
Still don't quite undestand why I'm always faster when I have walkbreaks compared to when I run continuously. In theory, I'd be losing at least 30 seconds when walking compared to when I'm running. Right?
Carole, doing LL AND Plyo X. That's one killer workout. Did you survive?
Hi Carole, I got a late workout for me that is, gotta phone call from a high school friend and I really needed someone to talk to so it was nice.
I ended up doing an advance taebo and for once in my life I broke a good sweat doing it :+ !! Normally I don't but I did today and it felt good. Thanks to Cathe my stamina is better so I was able to correctly execute all of the moves.:7
