Workout Tues 11/23

Good Morning Everyone,
Today was S&H Back and Shoulders. Tonight my DH will be gone so I am planning on doing MIC and the ab workout I didn't get done yesterday.

Thanks to everyone for wishing Sandra and I luck-hopefully we'll both have good news soon!

Sandra, Thank you SO much for your help-I am so new to this and your help means so much to me. It's nice to know someone else is in the same boat. I have been on a 28-day cycle since March(that's when I started keeping track). So I am almost positive that I ovulated on November 15 and we had "relations"(according to Bill Clinton;)) on Nov 14-sorry for TMI. Anyway, I took your advice and went and got the First Response test last night. There were three in a package. I couldn't resist so I took one last night-Negative of course but I didn't really freak out-Thanks to you:). So, I think I will test first thing tomorrow or Thursday. Good luck to you-Do you have any children yet? Glad to hear you're feeling queasy;) Hopefully, its a sign! Keep me posted and once again, thank you for all the information.:)

Good morning Wendy....Sandra did have alot of info! Its nice you can share the excitement with someone here....although I bet you would be excited either way.

I actually prefer working out when my DH isn't here as he does kind of ogle...:)....Yes, I was fairly wiped out after that 21 mile run on Sunday, but it's nice I seem to recover so well. I am doing L&G today and then a 6-7 mile run....have a great workout ladies.

Mari....now if I can only get my neice who is a Physical Therapist to move back home from Colorado I'd be set...:D....Carole

Oooh! Wendy - trying to get a little one, eh? I used that First Response test when I was trying to get pregnant. I had several months where I was keeping track of my temperature and other bodily changes, but my temperature never fluctuated much and had no luck. I got pregnant the very first month I used that First Response test.

GOOD LUCK! Being a mom rocks! (most of the time)

I did KPC this morning. Whew! My four year old was watching me, as she does every morning, and she asked me, "Mommy you're trying to kill somebody, aren't you?" I think she was referring to an imaginary opponent, but I wanted to answer, "Yes, honey - me!!" What in the world is she going to throw at us in KickMax?

Carole - I *wish* my husband would ogle more! Whenever I put on a workout, he flees. I'm not sure whether he doesn't want to get hit with flying sweat, or just doesn't trust himself to behave after watching Cathe and the crew! I read that the sign of being fit is not how hard you work, but how fast you recover from exertion. If you are able to run as frequently as you do, there is little doubt that you are F.I.T!!!

Sandy - I forgot to ask you which KPC/LG premix you did last week? Did you like it? How did you like the SJP PM#4 last night? Enjoy your gym workout today!

Wendy - Oh, I'm so glad you aren't upset about the pg test. I've been pregnant twice before, and each time I got nothing until day 28. Day 27 - nothing. Nada. It's also good for you to know that ANY line, no matter how light, means positive. You're going to give MIC a try today, hey? How are you feeling? You said a couple of days ago that your workout felt hard. Is that still the case? I still have queasy feelings, and my temperatures have dipped a bit, which might be due to implantation, so maybe things are on track. Only time will tell. (Oh, to answer your question: I have one child; my second pregnancy ended in a miscarriage in September, at 11 weeks).

Laurie - what mish mosh have you come up with today? Your combinations are always interesting. Do you have a multi-disc player?

Wendy - I'm sorry if I'm jumping in in the middle of your conversation, but how exciting to be trying for a wee one! I used First Response as well and used it a day after my period was due, and even then the line was SOOOOO faint I could barely see it! Good luck!!!

Sandra - Are you trying for a wee one as well???

This morning I did Leaner Legs. Have not done this one in months and it almost killed me!!!

Good afternoon ladies,

I did HSTA and was all ready for 20 mins. or so for the stairmaster when I realized I had to take care of some personal business before 9 a.m., so I had to cut it short, rats x(. Tonight I won't have time to workout either. Oh well doing HSTA is better than doing nothing at all, right?

I hope everyone here will have a blessed Thanksgiving. I know I will just being able to see the day.

hey everybody! at sandra's suggestion, i am going to join you. last night i did SJP, but i only mde it through the step portion. i can't get in to the hi/lo segment for some reason. i love the music but all that jumping around aghghghaa. anyway, i also did the upper body segments from C/W, SJP, and BF and abs from SJP. So because i need to catch up on missed cardio from yesterday i am tackling Imax2 all 10 today. if you don't hear from me tomorrow, assume i lost the battle! just kidding!!

Carole, glad you're feeling better after your adjustment. Does your nephew do manual or activator adjustments or a combination? Chiropractic has been a part of our provincial health plan (about $200.00/year) but as of Dec. 1 the government will no longer cover it. I know it's not for everyone but depending on the injury it can be like magic. It helped me very much when I hurt my back last spring. You're lucky to have one in the family:)

Sandra, today's mishmosh was all about the cardio! I did StepBlast first two combinations, IMAX intervals 6-10 and then the rest of StepBlast. I don't have a multi disc player but work with a VCR and single disc player. A lot of times I just mosh in whatever tape I neglected to rewind (that's today's IMAX:p )...CTX on VHS is great for that! I'm slowly adding DVD's to my collection but am really struggling with shelling out money for something I already have. I should just ask for a few for Christmas!!!!

I gotta go to the bank to see about getting a mortgage now....blech...I hate this stuff but am itching to buy my own home!

Tonight is my powerflex class and I may do an SB combo or 2 after I get home.

Sandra, I think I did the KPC/LG premix that has kicking/punching, standing legs..it didn't mention abs but included that as well 60 minutes total...it's funny the other 60 or 61 minute premix says abs but doesn't include it!! I really enjoyed that SB premix yesterday!

Jes...welcome to the party:7!!! That is one heck of a workout you did and you are going to do IMAX2??? WOW, I tip my hat to you!!

Wendy and Sandra.....Sending positive vibes out to you and hoping that your wishes come true very soon.......I hope to be hearing that we will have a few "wee" future Catheites coming our way:7 :7!! Please keep us posted, I'm so excited for both of you!

Hi all, I did PS Back but instead of doing PS biceps I did Pyramid Biceps, then did a premix with abs on KPC for the November rotation.

Today was IMax 2, my most favorite of all of Cathe's. I tacked on the abs from C&W.

Wendy, I love the step portion of MIC and can't wait for the intensity blast at the end - so much fun! The hi-lo I can't get into for some reason.

Today was RS and 1.5 hour yoga class. Today I actually did my first headstand. I couldnt even come close to doing one before back surgery and even after my back surgery, BUT today I did it. It feels good but is also scary at the same time. I give Cathe and workouts a lot of credit towards my recovery from back problems.

Hi again. My workout for the day is done . I have done the basic step, the cardio segments of body fusión and the 10 minutes of abs in the stability ball of my BS /BF dvd. I have decided not do workouts with jumps because the jumps repercuss in the muscles of the neck. Today in my job my neck was making me suffer so much that I had to phone to my mother and she bringed to me a capsule of muscular relaxing. I am praying to be recover soon. I need to be prepared for the hardcore.
