Good morning girls....P90X Yoga and Ab Ripper today. Dutchie I am glad the Abs got a bit better for you. Well, I am 5 lbs from my goal and this will probably be the hard part!....enjoy the workouts...:)...Carole
 
Hi all,

You really do workout consistently don't you Carole. I usually get 5 workouts in but somehow I always mess up at least once a week. I am one of the most disorganised people alive.:) Today I forgot I have to go to my son's school right after dinner and we must have dinner early for me to get there in time. Dont know if I get a workout in today. Let you know...

Dutchie, 5 wos is a LOT more than most people in the world do. And you seem to be in a pretty good shape, so don't sweat it.
Carole, the book arrived yesterday, now I only have to find the time to read it! Looks very interesting. Though I don't know if I can live without my cottage cheese...:)
Abs for me today -- big time. I did all 4 sessions from CT Express. At the end -- for some perverted reason -- I added AbRipperX too. Let's see if I can move tomorrow....

Hi gals,

I did PS triceps and abs off of All Step then I did step portion only of MIC. I am down another pound so I am only a half a pound away from my goal!!!:7 :7 I just might be celebrating tomorrow!!!! :D :7 Anyway I was sweatin buckets again with all the humidity in the air today. The temp. is down but the humidity is up guess I just can't win!!:(

Oh yea, my gyn doctor noticed my weight loss and said that I looked good :7
 
Mari..the strict part is the first 6 weeks. I think of it as detoxifying your body!! Then I beleive you could have cottage cheese although non-fat is what he would say. I have missed my non-fat yogurt myself. Wow...killer ab routine too. Yes Dutchie I am very consistant with exercise, stemming on obsessive..:)..I enjoy the Yoga day as I find it relaxing and like not worrying about weight lifting or any high impact cardio. Annette congrats on the weight loss and the people that have noticed...that is so cool...:)...Carole

Got in the P90X yoga. First 30 minutes was easy and frankly a little boring. Then he started on moves I never did before: warrior three and some twisting moves. But I didn't preview the tape so I lost my flow watching him and trying to follow. Some of the balancing moves were easy too. The ones I'd never done before were harder. Especially the right leg. My right knee is so "unstable" I sometimes can't even keep it straight. Well, I'll see my PT tomorrow.

What did you think about the yoga Carole?

Hello ladies,

I really had some down time in the lab today, so I used it to my advantage and did S&H legs/shoulders, abs, and KPC. (Yes, I do work out while I am at work.) I will sleep well tonite. I have 10 lbs to go to my goal weight of 119. (I'm 5-5, 129/130) It has been tough to wean myself from sweets. Have fun exercizing all.
 
Dutchie...this is the 1st yoga I have ever done. I think the first 30 minutes drags a bit but my moves are getting smoother. The balancing is my favorite part and that "Crane"...wow...I can stay on my hands for awhile....I fall to the right mostly, not on my head..:)...I do like the yoga and I think in the recovery week we do it twice..I notice my legs bend a bit too...let us know what the PT says...:)...carole
 
Hi Carole,

I started with live yoga classes two years ago, but it was quite expensive. Then I bought the yogazone workouts and I still love those. Flexibility&Tone and Conditioning&Stress Release have a relaxation part at the end. I get so relaxed these days that it's hard to start moving an arm or leg again.:) And I have such a good nights sleep afterwards.;) I also have two Crunch yoga w/o's on one dvd. I like these too. I have recently ordered Bryan Kest and Rodney Yee on dvd. Haven't received those yet.

Yogazone has a Poweryoga for Strength&Endurance w/o. For now I'll be subbing P90X yoga with that one. I will do the P90X balancing moves though, untill I can do all of them.

Hello girls. Yesterday I did LL (legs), AStep (Shoulders), LL (abs and stretch). tough tough! It's funny you're talking about a yoga day. Today is my yoga day :) (my favorite indeed!). I'll let you know about my workout later. Take care and have a nice weekend!
