Workout Thurs 2-26

My turn to start! I am planning on Karen Voights floor leg section, abs from something of Cathe's, then a 4 mile run, depending on my Achilles. Upper body from PS, Chest, back and biceps. Then maybe a little of KPC...I have some extra time before work, which is great for a LONGER workout!...have a great day!...Carole

edited to say...my run went great! NO PAIN! I ended up doing just Chest from PS, then back and biceps from CTX. Also (cuz I felt so good from the run)40 min of KPC. Tomorrow might just be a short workout...:)...

I did PS Back, Biceps and Abs this morning and I was down a pound and a half so I was a happy camper this morning.:7 :D Hoping to continue the downward spiral!!!

Carole, you have a long workout ahead of you, but lots of variety, have a great workout!!:7

Nice to see you guys again!:)

I'm toasted. Started out with rather intense cardio for about 40 min -- biking, nordictracking and rowing -- hr was 85%. After that came S&H triceps and biceps, with really heavy weights .
Holding the hairdryer will be a challange today!

Enjoy the day, folks!

Carole thanks for starting this thread:)

Today, my schedule has been rearranged. My workout is going to occur after lunch and some laundry gets folded while I digest a bit.

My plan is to get in a cardio/lower body challenge and some triceps and Cathe abs.
I'm going to checkout some of the premixes for legs/cardio.

I did Slow&Heavy/Legs&Shoulders today, with 55#'s on the barbell for squats and lunges, two 20# dumbells for all pre-exhaust sets, 2 8# dumbells for all shoulder work except overhead presses, where I used 2 12 pound dumbells a five pound weight for those rotator cuff sets, and 2 25# dumbells for the calf raises. I do believe I'm ready to up the barbell weight to 60#'s!! Never thought I'd see myself typing that one - LOL!! I LOVE this series!! Tomorrow is S&H/Triceps&Biceps!! Yes, I realize that's two weight workouts in a row, but since it's different muscles I'm primarily working out, I do it anyway. :)

:D

I was supposed to do KPC but just felt like stepping today. I did SJP Step only minus stretch/RS step only minus WU & Stretch/ME abs and stretch. The snow is really coming down here in South Carolina! We may end up with 8 inches or so. This is so unusual for here! It is so beautiful! Keep up those workouts folks!

Hi everyone--

I just finished IMAX II, which I think is my favorite cardio so far--I don't have the any of the BB series yet. Don't want to buy anything more until we have a DVD player. We are waiting for our tax refund and then we will buy one.

Have fun in that snow. We don't get much in our corner of Oregon either, so it is a real treat when we do.

take care
Maggie:)

Hey guys! Send the snow my way! It's pretty bare up here in CT and I'm going skiing next week in New Hampshire!:-(

I did Rhythmic Step today. Does this workout ever get easier??? I've finally learned it, but as soon as I let my mind wander I trip up and it takes a long time to get back into it again.

Yesterday I didn't get to do KPC like I wanted to, but I did manage to do the step section of Get in Shape for Your Wedding. It was nice to put myself on autopilot and give it my all. This is a great tape for anyone new to Cathe. If she didn't have all that goofy wedding talk in it she could probably have released it to the Step CO. as a beginner tape.

I must admit all this floorwork I've been doing has made my knees feel a lot better!:)
