workout shoes for over-pronator?

It is time for new workout shoes. I have been wearing the Ryka Rhythm II's, but I need something w/more support.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good workout shoe?

well I have serious over pronating issues and New Balance has always been a fantastic shoe for me.

You may also want to check out roadunnersports....they categorize shoes according to under/over pronation etc. They're mostly running shoes, but still may give you some good ideas.
 
Do you have a running store like Fleet Feet near you? They do a great job of fitting you for to fit your foot style and workout style. I just got new shoes this weekend and it's the 3rd time I've been there. Always had great customer service.

New Balance #1122. They're kind of ugly if you have big feet like me, because the rollbars that support the feet make the shoe look bigger, but they do support really well. They were recommended to me by my podiatrist. I wear them to workout in and I wear them to work. If I don't my feet really start to hurt. They come in 1/2 sizes and they come in different widths.

I think the answer is yes, but they are individually owned. I was asking the lady who helped me and she said that it is mandatory for the chains to train all salespeople. So they should all have similar knowledge, etc.
