Workout related "Skin Breakouts"...

does anybody have problems with breaking out after working out?

i don't wear any makeup during my workout, and religiously wash my face immediately after. (using a wet cold cloth throughout the workout to wipe off the sweat..eeuu..sorry! :p)

it seems to be primarily centered on my forehead, i've tried changing shampoos etc, but i think it's related more directly to sweating..

any similar situations or suggestions?

breakouts

Here are a couple of suggestions:
Maybe one of those old-fashioned sweat bands would help, by absorbing more sweat while you work out. (On the other hand, it might make things worse by trapping the sweat underneath.)
Do you wear bangs? Try pulling them back. Also, you might want to try using a pre-treated cleansing cloth (like those made by Bioré, for example) either just before working out (just on the forhead area), or mid-workout.

I almost posted about this today!

Hi!
I;ve been having a similiar problem, although not only the face but even worse on my back, chest and shoulders. It's absolutely awful! Does anyone have any suggestions for the body? I've tried the clear skin soap, I think it's Neutrogena, and a benzoyl peroxide cream, but it's still bad. I'm actually relieved to hear someone else has this problem! Thanks so much!

hi sarah! you're not alone!

hiya sarah..

boy, now "i" don't feel so bad, either..i thought it was 'just me'.. :p

i'm stumped...the only thing i'm thinking of trying..is this stuff called "Tend Skin" .,.it's for 'after shaving/burns' etc..but...i'm gettin desperate..and thought maybe it'd help...we'll see...

pls keep me posted if you find anything that works for you!

thanks!

One word.....Tersaseptic!!!!

You can get it at the drug store normally in the fight against acne area. Its a liquid in a white bottle, pricy but a little goes a long way. Works well on the back and shoulders (my husband's problem) and I've been using it on my face. Use it only where needed since it is drying. But it works very well! No need to add an other cream or antiseptic. It works best on it's own, you'll feel and see the difference within a week.

breakouts

This thread came to mind while I was watching an infomercial for "Proactive" skincare. It's a three-part system (cleanser, toner, and acne eradicator)that can treat and prevent breakouts. $39.95 for a two-month supply (but that's for treating the whole face, if you used it in only certain breakout-prone areas, it would last longer). I didn't take down the number or the web site info (sorry), but I think it's just proactive.com...you could also do a web search for it. 60-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied.
