workout plan to lean out before STS?

Is anyone planning a specific rotation to lean out before starting STS? I was thinking of dropping the splits (which I've been doing for a couple months now)... and switching to circuits/upping the cardio to get a little leaner before STS. (BTW, I did RS last night, the whole thing including the challenge, and man, did it wipe me out!! I hadn't done an hour of pure, fairly intense, cardio in like half a year... and I really felt it.) So what's everyone doing?

Hi Delfin. Here is my plan, which I began this last week. Really clean up the eating and increase the all out cardio. I'm doing about 30 miles a week of incline/interval TM walking (or outside once the weather breaks) along with light weight high rep workouts (think Jari Love), functional fitness (think Tracie Long) and kettlebells. Then, once we get blog updates on expected scheduling, about 6-8 weeks before we get STS I'll switch over to Cathe full body weight (MM, ME, PH, etc.) and circuits. I'm hoping that I'll have the body fat % where it needs to be to embark on these heavy weights and see nice definition results!!!

Thanks for starting this thread - I am curious as well to see what everyone else is planning.

Great Thread!

I'm thinking circuits for month/6 weeks then upper/lower days w/ Interval training in between days (BFL format).... I'm currently taking a break from any structured rotation to get the mind ready for a long 3-month STS Program.
