WORKOUT Monday 11/15

Good morning ladies,

Today I did S&H Chest and Triceps for the first time - I KNOW I will be feeling this later- I am feeling like jello now.}( Why do I love this punishment? I also have ME abs planned for later.

Well, it sounds like SNM is making a lot of progress with the workouts- HOW EXCITING:+

Hi Wendy..I think we all like the punishment of Cathe's workouts! ME abs is one of my favorites. It does sound like the Hardcore DVD's might be ready sooner than I would expect...:)

I am doing P90X Chest & Back, AbRipperX and some sort of cardio....

Good morning,

I started off the week with Cardio Kicks, followed by Kickbox abs. Haven't done that one in a few weeks, and it felt good. I feel very stretched out. My frequent use of IS core work is beginning to make a difference; the Kickbox abs felt quite easy, especially the planks.

I agree about the ME abs; they're one of her best segments!

Hi Sandra, Calore and Wendy. Today is IMAX 2 for me .It is not the workout for today in the November rotation but I want to do cardio today. Three groups working in the hardcore dvd. It sounds great . The dvd will be in our hands sooner .I hope so. Have a good day.

Today I did the step portion of SJP, followed by the intermediate and high intensity drills from KPC, followed by the KPC abs and stretch. I really enjoyed this one.

Today was Cardio & Weights for me. Saturday was Boot Camp and Sunday was ME and cardio from Timesaver DVD second workout. I love all that Hi/Lo.

Hi all, I did PS Chest and Triceps and abs from MIS today. Felt really strong too maybe after a 2 weeks of Slow and Heavy I am stronger. Who knows?! :D I tested soy last night and everything seemed ok, so I have my smoothie this morning so we will see how it goes. I really was missing my smoothie!!:( :)

Good morning all!

Today is CK, followed by ME abs..I love this one and often find myself going for this ab section!! Now Stayfit got me thinking about IMAX2 so if I have some steam left in me I might try to get in a few intervals....just because I'm a glutton for punishment}(!! LOL! And also because I didn't work out yesterday:eek:!

Annette...nice to hear that soy didn't mess with your stomach last night..:)...I myself need to try out some other forms of protein that I have read about: Tempeh, Seitan and Hemp. I don't know alot about them but I have had fun trying new Vegan foods...:)...Carole
 
Hi everyone,

I haven't checked in for quite some time, something very shocking happened to me a few weeks ago; my husband (yes, the one with whom I worked S & H shoulders a few weeks earlier with!) suddenly, with no warning (or I suppose I didn't see the signs, but it's easy to say now) just left me and our two beautiful daughters! Just like that, no explanation, except "I just don't love you "like that""... Our daughters are only 2,5 and 10 months, and I've had an extremely hard time trying to keep myself together to take care of everybody and all the practical things related to all this. Without the support of all friends and family I don't think I would have made it.

Anyway, all that is a whole another story, but I have done my best to keep up at least some sort of a workout routine. I actually think that has helped me keep sane through all this, and perhaps even see a glimpse of a silver lining when things have seemed really bad otherwise. That high you get from all those endorphins can really work wonders on the mind too, and solving problems while running does work.

I've just tried to do all my favourite workouts; Circuit Max, Rhythmic Step, the Gauntlet and the Viper etc. Today I got in an extra long workout; Imax2 and S&H Triceps and biceps. I still work out in the mornings before the kids wake up, though it feels quite tough at times, since I get almost no free time as I have to go to bed right after they do. I'm still very new to being a single mom, but I hope I can keep up with this... Any good advice?

Annette, I do feel for you, and something I'm eating is bloating me up too. My stomach doesn't get that upset, but I get water retention and just feel very bloated (which is extremely unmotivating!) especially around the abdominal area. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what is causing this, and I suppose all this emotional turmoil isn't helping either.

Anyway, got to go to bed, I think I'll enjoy Rhythmi step tomorrow (again....;)) oh, well, this isn't the time to be picky, I suppose...;)))

Hi Ladies,

I have not been here since last week. I was busy getting all of the stuff for my Son and my DIL babyshower. I'm going to be a Grandmother by the first week of Decembe. I hope that he is not born on December 5th, that is the day that I will be running the Orange County Marathon. Today I will be spinning and doing a core workout.
I ran 16 miles yesterday and I feel a bit tight.

Maria, I hope that things work out for you, he does not deserve you and your two daughters. I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi everyone! Maria I am sorry to hear about your situation. I'm sure it's not easy to find yourself suddenly a single parent. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
Today was Step Works for me. I haven't done this one in a while and it was a lot of fun! :) I'll be walking the pup later today.
Yesterday was an unexpected off day. I just had to watch my Packers beat the Vikes- if only be the hair on their chinny chin chin!
I was busy with church activities early in the day....

Maria, I feel so bad for you. Just keep up the good work! It is very smart that you exercise. When I was going through a lot of stress, really hard cardio helped a lot. (In my case at that time was running fast and hard.) IMAX is probably a very good choice. The higher the heart rate the better is for the stress. You and your kids will be in my prayers:)

I didn't come here a lot either, but I'm just so busy at work, plus my son's computer died so he uses this and I have to wait for my turn...}(
Today I Nordictracked for 30 min and did PS chest, shoulders and triceps plus KPC abs.

You guys are doing so well on those marathon trainings! Mari
 
Good Evening All! With all of this talk about ME abs I'll just have to add it into my workout tomorrow:)

Today I did 10-10-10 cardio followed by cardio only HSTA. I intended on following that with LL but got called to workx( I'll give it another go tomorrow.

Annette I hope all went well with your soy smoothie!

Chiquita I like your SJP/KPC mishmosh, great workout in less than an hour with a big fun factor, I'll have to try it.

Maria, I'm truly sorry for your family's troubles. I salute you for keeping up with your workouts, such a great stress buster and goodness knows you've got your share of that. I've been a single Mom of 3 girls for 7 years and after some sad and difficult times am very happy in my personal life and relationships with my beloved daughters. I wish you strength and peace!
