workout length

I am trying to get back to using my Cathe videos but I was just curious how long most people workout each day and how many days a week. I used to workout 2 hours a day 4-5 times a week and saw great results. I don't know if I'll have that kind of time so I was wondering how long other people workout and if that gives the results they need? What type of workout do you do? I have a one and three year old and work full time so time is important.
Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I work out about 1- 1 1/2 hours a day. that usually includes a 1hour cardio and some weights it depends on the day. i try to work out 5times a wk

I usually work 1 hour 1/2- 2 hours 6 times a week.

5 or 6 day days per week at one hour per day. I do a combination of cardio and weights (one or the other on any particular day) and rotate through the workouts that I have. I've been doing this since I started exercising about 12 years ago and I have made many leaps and bounds in my fitness goals (including losing 80 pounds, toning up, etc.) I simply don't have any more time to devote to exercise but I do see great results w/this schedule.

I normally work out about 60 mins per day/6 days per week.

Lately I have been doing more like 90 mins to 2 hours per day 6 days per week ONLY because I am trying out freestyle and that takes more time...

I am also just getting back into my Cathe workouts. I am doing about 45 minutes per day with a few days here and there of an hour and a half. I am focusing on cardio with about 2-3 days of strength training with my cardio. I already feel better after about 2 weeks of "back on track"!

Good luck!

My daily routine varies depending upon time, obviously. I work out 6-7 days a week. On at least 2 weekdays it's two hours a day--this would be an hour of cardio in the morning & an hour of lifting or pilates at night. On the other weekdays it's one hour of cardio in the morning.

On the weekends I do 2 hours straight at the gym of about 45 minutes of cardio & a little more than an hour of weight training.

All told it comes out to about 10 hours per week.

Ideally, I work out about an hour, 5-6 days a week.
Sometimes, I'll do longer workouts, and there are times when I end up doing shorter workouts, or only workout 4 days a week (usually trying to do longer workouts when I do).

Just like you I have two little ones, 3 1/2 & 3 months, and work full time with time and sleep definitely being issues with me. I don't have much of either. My workouts are shorter about 30 minutes 6 days a week, but I workout really hard in that time frame. During my lunch hour every day I run home (10 minutes there and back) and workout out for 30 minutes, take a real quick shower to get the sweat off and then head back to work. Until DD starts sleeping through the night then that is all I have the energy and time to spend right now.

For my workouts I do primarily BFL-type workouts:
Upper Body (Pyramid Up), Either 20 minutes of HIIT or 1/2 of one of Cathe's Imaxs, or Lower Body (Pyramid Up).

I usually do an hour and 1/2 at the gym. Combo of cardio and weights. On my rest day I incorporate stretching or Yoga for some relief... :7

I follow BFL and have for a little over 2 years.

I do 3 days of cardio 20-30 minutes. You can do more if you'd like but I have PF and that is all my foot can tolerate.

Strength training 3 days a week 30-40 minutes.
