Workout Journal/Log

Last year I found a fitness journal at Border's which I loved. Unfortunately the pages ran out earlier this year and I haven't been able to find it since. So, I've tried creating my own journal/log using Excel spreadsheets. Nothing that I've come up with has really clicked with me.

I've tried making a calendar and just scheduling my workouts at the beginning of the month. Then I tried using the "Day 1: ; Day 2:" format for the month, still no good. Next I tried creating a journal in Excel that included the same info that my original journal had and that worked for awhile, but then I just forgot to write in it daily since it was saved in my computer. Finally I tried just writing what workout I'm doing in my daily planner for the month and keeping notes that way. Needless to say, that didn't work either.

So, I'm back to trying to find an actual journal. I think I need something in front of my face as a reminder. I'm more motivated when I use a journal bcuz I'm able to see my progress and track my goals and see where I still need to improve.

Does anyone use a journal/log? If so, what kind do you use? Any suggestions for creating a journal in Excel? You know, as I write this, the thought just occured to me to try amazon.com to see if they have the original journal that I used. Hmmm....

Anyway, I'm open to comments or feedback from anyone. Thanks for your help!!

Have you tried looking for your journal at amazon.com?

They have lots of things I never imagined they would, and it might save you a bunch of frustration in trying to make your own.
