Workout help!

I'm looking at getting a much desired promotion, (YAY!,) but am looking at having to move to a place without a health club within the nearest 50 miles. I do about 20-30 minutes of Cardio and 30-60minutes of muscle work 5 days a week. I have been a huge fan of the clips of Cathe's videos on her site, and I think I'm going to go with her videos to start a training system at home, and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on which ones to look for and why. I love doing my muscle training for total body, so that's a big thing for me. I use moderate weights (8-10lbs most of the time,) and I just don't want to lose the momentum that I've had with my gym membership. HELP!

You won't lose any momentum with Cathe! I can assure you of that.:)

Here is a link to the Ultimate guide to Cathe workouts. It ranks them according to complexity, intensity and enjoyment. http://cathe.com/question/workout_rank.htm

You can use whatever weight you are able to handle with her workouts.

Good weight workouts that I have are
Butts and Guts
Muscle Max
Gym Style series (chest and triceps, back, shoulders and biceps, legs)
Push/Pull and Supersets

You might like circuit workouts like Drill Max, BodyMax2, Low Impact Circuit, etc.

Anything by Cathe is great!

In my opinion, CrossTrain Express (CTX) would be a great start. Lots of variety and a fantastic sample of Cathe's stellar choreography. The cardio portions are similar in length to what you have been doing. Each cardio portion is followed by a short, intense workout for one upper body part. Leaner Legs (affectionately known as Meaner Legs) rounds out the series with a quick and dirty lower body workout. There are a couple of great abdominal sections peppered through the series. A full body DVD like Muscle Max, Power Hour or Muscle Endurance would give you some nice weight work variety in addition to CTX. Have fun discovering these fabulous workouts.

Take Care
Laurie:)
