Good Morning! Had a so-so workout today. Did most of RS and started getting too hot and just plain old ran out of gas. I woke feeling okay today and began the a.m. routine with my coffee and banana and *WHAM* I started feeling feverish and crampy with a very rumbley tummy. I rode it out for about an hour and then it subsided. I thought I had sufficient pep to do RS but not todayx( :-( Tomorrow will be better!! I was thinking about you Annette and all of troubles you've been through, not pleasant at all, poor you! My daughters were lovely and very comforting though, hovering over me with cool cloths and such.

Sandra, it's incredible how much we have in common, we're both Canadian, love Cathe and neither of us plays the fiddle, it's uncanny:+ :+

Carole, shoulders is my favourite area to work, you have again piqued my interest in P90X......also the ab ripper thing you mention is very intriguing. It will be very interesting to hear what the P90X'ers think of Hardcore in comparison.

Enjoy your Friday:)

Good morning,

Mariángeles, that's such bad news!! You are very wise for taking a rest, although I imagine you are going nuts. Get better soon!

Carole, may the wind always be at your back :)

Laurie, it's freakishly bizarre, LOL!. Tell me, have you ever named a pet Casey or Finnegan?

This morning I did CTX Kickbox & 10-10-10, followed by SH Triceps, Biceps and abs. A long workout, not particularly "fun", but effective I'm sure. Glad to be done.

Have a good day, everyone!
Sandra

Oh, Laurie, I forgot to mention that I think you were a trooper for even giving RS a try when you were feeling so poorly. Are you developing a cold? And your daughters are lovely angels for helping you out. I have a mental picture of you collapsed in a sweaty heap on the floor, and three girls standing around you, murmuring in concerned voices, and waving little towels over your prostrate body. Feel better soon!

Sandra

Hi Ladies,

I will be running 4 miles easy at lunch. Tomorrow, I will be running 16 miles and 8 on Sunday. I better start carboloading right now.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

Josie

Hi, Today was MIS with extra abs from Ab Hits, and IMAX. Tonight we have to go for a 3 mile walk after work to get groceries. Sooo I should be pretty beat by bedtime.

Happy workouts all.

Thanks Sandra, I feel better but pretty low gear today. You are not going to believe this but I did indeed have a cat named Casey in the mid-late 80's, too funny:7 I saw good old Mr. Dressup just a few minutes ago as I was folding laundry and looking for some mindless t.v. (I settled on 'The View',...honest!). Gotta go get ready for work!

Take Care
Laurie:)

Hi everyone,

been incredibly busy here for a few days, we're moving to a new house with my daughters next week, and there's just an amazing amount of stuff to do and take care of. Also, I want to get most of the rugs, sofa covers and such washed, so everything will be nice and fresh once we set in. Cleaning and washing on top of taking care of two kiddos seems to really add up to quite a workout! I find I'm really beat at night, and just crash into bed.

Today was an okay workout day, I did Step, Jump & Pump. Usually I find that one fairly easy, but today it felt really sort of hard. I don't know what it is... Yesterday I did Imax Extreme and S&H chest. I felt good to pull through that one, even though I felt extremely lazy and sleepy in the morning. I rewarded myself with some extra pancakes in the morning...;))

Everyone seems to be doing great, one tough workout gang here, have to say. Carole, thanks for your kind words a few days back, it really feels nice:).

Have a good day everyone,

Maria

Hi all,

Today will be CW timesaver step premix followed by PUB chest/back/core...although I'm tempted to do KPC to prepare for Kickmax....boy those pics just blew me away:eek: :D !!

Stayfit, I thought of you as soon as I saw the kickmax pics last night, i'm sure you are delighted just as I am:7 ! Sorry to hear you are still hurting...I hope you will feel much better by the weekend!

Carole, how was your run with all that wind?

Sandra, great workout!! I'm doing thursdays workout today because by the time the computer guy left it was too late and I was too tiredx( and I HATE missing workouts but what can you do sometimes????

Suzanne, whoa that is a heck of a workout!! Once I have those dvds I will have to try it}(

Happy Friday everyone!!

Sandy thank you. In am in the clouds after seeing the kickmax pics. Today was the perfect day to do CK or KPC but I will do it soon. I can not wait to have kickmax in my hands. Cathe and the other ladies look gorgeus.Have a great weekend.

Just not into it today so I did a very shortened version of PS standing legs only then CTX Kickbox. Not sure what is wrong, could be the fact that my dh is home working on the house and that always throws my schedule off. And there are men working on our new additions roof. Hope tomorrow is better.

Yes Mariángeles, I saw thw Kickmax Pictures last night...:7 It will be a struugle waiting for these DVD's.!! I hope your sore areas get better soon.

Laurie...sorry you are feeling poorly...:(...hope you get better soon. At least you live with cute caregivers...Ab RipperX is 15 exercises and you do 25 reps of each...mostly...some I have seen like bicycle, heel press but really it did wonders for my abs. I also am curious how it will compare to Hardcore. I read on the VF forum about P90X being available $50 off...:)

Maria...Nice to see your post...:)..I have always enjoyed Step, Jump and Pump, but some days now might be a bit difficult...I am happy you can find some joy in exercise...:) I truly think it can help..

Sandy and Sandra...mostly the wind was at my back...:)...the run went well as I tried something new that I read in Runners World when you are short on time. I warmed up 3 minutes, did a mile in 8:20, then jogged for 2 min, did a 8:08 mile, then jogged for 2 min and lastly did a 7:50 mile and cooled down a couple of min....OH MY!!! Wore me out!!!

Carole

I never post in these w/o posts but I did a fun combo today and thought I'd share...
PUB pyramid up only w/ abs + cardio and legs from HSTA. It was a lot of fun even though I don't love HSTA, it's starting to grow on me. I also walked our dog 2 miles.

Hello Gang!

Carole, I like the sound of those mile repeats, good work!

I had a fantastic endorphin ride on the elliptical today for 40 min. It had everything-- hills, sprints even running with weights for the core. I just love that machine. The workout was in tune with my really fast techo-club CD. After that ME and BC abs. Life is good!:7
